Maybe Tomorrow
Reunited:
It felt good being back home. This was where home was. Sungah walked out of Gimpo Airport, finally back on her homeland. It's been a while. She got into a taxi and gave the driver the address to her mother's house. She pulled her cell phone out of her pocket and dialed her mother's number.
"Mom?" Sungah rested her head on the car door. "I'm back."
Sungah was pale, thinner, her voice was quiet raspy from stress. Her eyes had deep dark circles from exhaustion.
"Is my apartment ready yet?" Sungah asked in her now non-cheerful voice.
"It'll be all ready by tomorrow. It's getting furnished today, so you'll spend the night here in the guest room." Her mother answered. "How are you doing, sweetheart?"
"I already feel better now that I'm home." Sungah made a weak smile. It went as soon as it came. "Mom?"
"What, honey?"
"Don't-Don't tell anyone I'm back," Sungah inhaled deeply. "Besides SoonYee and you, I'd rather not have anyone know yet."
"Okay. Take it easy, you had a long flight and you probably have some jet lag. I want you to get plenty of rest. I'll see you soon, okay?"
"Yeah," Sungah uttered practically in a whisper. She hung up, tucking her phone back into her pocket. She suddenly realized she was hungry.
"Excuse me?" She got the taxi driver's attention. "Can we stop here for a second? I just want to eat something real quick."
"Sure thing." The driver replied.
"Want me to bring you anything?" Sungah asked as she got out, closing the door.
"You don't have to, it's okay." The driver gave her a kind smile for her generosity. She saw a few stands but decided on her favorite. Croquettes.
Ryeowook was out that day, wearing his hat and sunglasses, covering his face. He saw all the food stands around him. He didn't have an appetite. He hasn't for a couple of days. One stand, in particular, caught his eye. Croquettes. So many memories flooded back into his mind. Who was the bastard that convinced him to leave the house anyway? Oh yeah, it was Donghae. Thanks, thanks a lot, bastard. Now he felt more depressed. He should've just stayed in his room.
He spotted a girl, with blonde hair. It must be a foreigner. It reminded him of Sungah. The way her hair flowed down her back the same way in ocean waves, full of luscious volume. The golden color sparkling in the sun. His eyes had to only be deceiving him once again, as they have been for a while. Weird, the girl even looked like Sungah. His sunglasses must be wrecking his vision. There's no way it was her. She was never coming back. He was seeing things again, his mind was trying to trick him again. That's it, I'm killing Donghae when I get home. He was going to go home where he could be alone and not see and hear Sungah wherever he went.
He took a longer look at the girl with the blonde hair. Wait a second... That was Sungah! There was his Flower Girl standing right in front of him! He removed his sunglasses for a second just to make sure. It really was Sungah! He put his sunglasses back on and walked up to her, tapping her shoulder, forcing himself not to throw his arms around her and kiss her right there.
"Hello!" He greeted with
