"Not again..." Xiumin mumbles, covering his ears dramatically. Xiumin doesn't share a dorm with anyone, so there is no one around him to cause this reaction from him. Except the neighboring dorm. Xiumin knows his classmate lives there. But how someone can burn their food and set off the fire alarms at least four times a day, Xiumin has no clue. The high pitch, obnoxious beeping continues for a minute before stopping, and Xiumin uncovers his ears. Sighing, he stands up and walks out of his dorm, knocking on the adjacent door softly.

After a few seconds of loud sounds that seem to be pots hitting the ground and other utensils scattering, the door is swung open by Luhan. Luhan and Xiumin take music theory class and music practical together. Luhan looks out of breath and upset, a strip of bandage wrapped tightly around his hand. Messy blond hair and a black tank top make the boy look like he was exercising.

"How many times a day do you set off the smoke alarms? 3? 4?" Xiumin queries, raising his eyebrows at the boy.

"One time it was around 7" He responds, smiling sweetly. 

"I'm not too good at cooking either but I don't think I've ever set off the alarms before" 

"I think I hold the record" Luhan is taller than Xiumin, even though Luhan is leaning against the door frame and Xiumin is standing straight. 

"Do you need any help? I'd be happy to teach you" 

"Really? That would be a big help" Luhan straightens and gestures for Xiumin to enter. Xiumin brushes past Luhan in the narrow doorway and walks into Luhan's kitchen.
