“You really don’t remember?” Baekhyun asked again and Eunji shook her head

“Ah right” Baekhyun said as if he realized something; he went to the table and get the necklace.

 “This” he said and gave it to Eunji

“What’s this?”

“Chorong noona said that she found it with you, that is the only thing you have”

Eunji eyed the necklace. Yes, it’s her necklace. She recognized it, but again she lied.

“I still can’t remember, maybe this is mine. I don’t know” She dramatically shook her head

“Don’t force yourself, it’s okay. But there is a name written there… Eunji”

“Eunji?”

“I think that’s your name”

“My name is Eunji?”

“Well, I think. Oh I have to get back down at the café. I brought food for you, eat that first. I’m coming back later” He said and headed to the door

“Uhm” Eunji called and he stopped walking and looked at her

“Thank you”

He just smiled at her and continued on his way down. The customers were coming in and they were all busy so he went back to his place immediately and tend the orders.

“How is she?” Chorong asked him when she walked to him and handed him the newly washed cups.

“She’s already awake” he answered

“Really?!”

“Yeah, I let her eat first”

“Oh that’s good, I guess” she said and was about to go back at the kitchen when Baekhyun called again

“Noona”

“Hmm?”

“I guess, she has amnesia” he said and saw Chorong’s shock expression

“Well, let’s talk about that later”

“Okay”

When Baekhyun left, Eunji looked around the room. It was just a simple room with white paint, a table and a chair beside the bed and a small drawer with a flower vase on top on one side of the room. There was a window beside the bed, on Eunji’s right.

“So this is where human lives” She mumbled to herself, and just then she heard her stomach grumbling. She looked at the table and tried to stand, she was nervous at first because it was the first time she’s using her feet. Slowly she managed to get her legs off the bed one by one and finally tried to stand, but fell down eventually. She felt pain on her legs, but more of it on her thighs.

“I never knew it’s this hard”

She held the chair and the bed for her support and finally sat down on the chair, facing the table she opened up the cloth that covered the food that Baekhyun brought earlier, getting one of the chopsticks, she poked the mysterious thing in front of her.

“Is this human food? How should I eat this?”

After a moment, she started eating using the chopsticks. Oddly. When she finished her food, she slowly went back to bed, still struggling because of her legs. When she finally got to the bed, she opened the window and stared outside. The vast sea can be seen, at the shore, small huts and some lampposts were already lit giving the beach a wonderful view. Some people are walking, chasing each other and some were swimming. The beach was not crowded though.

Eunji looked at the sea.

“I’m sorry appa”

It was already 9 in the evening and there were still a few customers but the café was not that busy as earlier. Chorong decided to check on Eunji and Baekhyun went with her. They entered the room and saw Eunji looking out the window. Hearing the door opened, Eunji turned and saw the two entering

“Hello” Chorong greeted her

“H-hello” Eunji greeted back awkwardly

“My name’s Park Chorong” She smiled

“Uh, she’s the one who took care of you when we found you” Baekhyun said

“Ah, thank you”

Chorong went to Eunji and sat on the bed.

“Baekhyun said that you don’t remember anything?” she asked her with a worried expression

Eunji looked at Baekhyun before shaking her head

“It must be hard for you” Chorong held her hand “Don’t worry, we’re here to help you. You may stay here if you don’t have anywhere to go”

“N-noona? Are you serious?” Baekhyun was shocked by what Chorong said, not that he didn’t like to help, but he was just being careful and besides, they really didn’t know Eunji

“Of course I am, Baekhyun”

“You haven’t even told Junmyeon hyung”

“Of course he will agree with me. And look at her” she pointed at Eunji “Can you just let her with her situation”

“Hmm” he shook his head “Okay”

Chorong smiled brightly and faced Eunji

“Okay, from now on I’m your Chorong unni”

“You’re not even sure if you’re older than her” Baekhyun commented and earned a glare from Chorong

“S-sorry”

“Don’t mind him” She said to Eunji with a smile

“Uhm, can I really stay here?” Eunji asked with hopeful eys

“Of course!” Chorong beamed

“I promise, I won’t be a burden”

“Don’t worry. Oh would you like to meet the other guys?”

“Other guys?”

“Yeah, one is my fiancé and the other four are our workers at the café downstairs” Chorong stood up and waited for Eunji to stand too.

Eunji gulped first before getting off the bed, praying that it’ll now be okay. But when she stand, she felt pain again and stumbled

“Oh my gosh!” Chorong screamed and went to her side “Are you okay?”

“Yeah, I’m sorry, my legs hurt, I don’t think I can go downstairs”

“Oh, is that so? It’s okay there are other times, now you need to rest, have you eaten?”

“Yes, I ate the food he brought” Eunji said and pointed at Baekhyun

“Oh yeah, I remember, the necklace, there is a name written there. Is it Eunji? Right it’s Eunji. Would it be okay if we would call you Eunji for a while?”

“O-of course, it’s okay for me” she said, It’s actually my name she thought to herself  

“Baekhyun, you can go ahead, I’ll talk with her for a while”

“Oh okay” Baekhyun shrugged and went downstairs

Baekhyun went down at the café, it was almost time for their closing time and the other boys were busy cleaning

“Hey how is she?” Junmyeon asked

“Well, she’s already awake and noona is talking to her”

“Her fever?”

“I think it’s already gone, but she still can’t stand properly, her body is still weak” he answered

“Oh” Junmyeon nodded

“Hyung, noona is letting her stay here with us” Baekhyun said

“Oh is that so?” Junmyeon simply answered, not even glancing at Baekhyun, he was just busy wiping dry the cups

“You don’t seem worry about it”

“Should I?” Now Junmyeon looked at him, raising an eyebrow

“But hyung, she’s still a stranger” Baekhyun reasoned

“I don’t think she’s dangerous. Tell me, how was Chorong’s reaction to her?” Junmyeon asked,

“Well, she really looks happy”

“You see Baekhyun, Chorong want’s a company, a friend”

“But we are here”

“A girl, it’s still different. And you know how much she wanted to have a little sister right?” he said and Baekhyun just nodded

“Let’s just see how it goes” he added, and tapped Baekhyun’s shoulder

The next morning, Eunji woke up with the delicious aroma of coffee being brewed. She tried to stand up by holding on the table for support. Slowly, she reached the walls and leaned to it before taking another step, her legs were still hurting but it’s better than yesterday. When she finally reached the door, she slowly turned the knob and opened it. She peeked outside to saw if someone was there. The hallway was quiet and, she turned to her left and saw the living room at the end of the hallway, she turned her head to the right and saw Baekhyun coming out on one of the door. He looked like he just got out from the shower and was now on his uniform for work, which was just a white long sleeve and black pants.

“Hey” he said after seeing her

“Hi” she awkwardly greeted back

A moment of awkward silence after the short greetings. No one spoke; Baekhyun was standing awkwardly while Eunji’s arm was already hurting because she was still leaning at the door frame and was using her arm for support

“Uh, let’s go down and have some breakfast” Finally Baekhyun was able to talk

“Yeah” she said “I mean… Okay”

“Can you walk now?” Baekhyun asked

“A bit, I think?”

Baekhyun then went closer to her, which surprised her and made her flinched

“Let me help you” he said and offered a hand

“Thanks” Eunji didn’t’ know but she’s nervous, she’s afraid of touching him at that moment, but she have no choice.

Holding her hand and supporting her all the way down, Eunji controlled herself and tried not to lean so much on Baekhyun. When they got down, Baekhyun let her sit at a table near the counter.

“Ow hey Eunji good morning!” Chorong greeted her, brightly as usual

“Good morning” she greeted back and eyed the other people there, there were a total of six boys there, Baekhyun, Junmyeon whom she met the night before and four others who were giving her a strange look, making her more awkward

“Guys come here, let me introduce you to Eunji” Chorong said and the other boys complied

“Hi, I’m Chanyeol!” The tall one with big ears said, he reached out his hand and Eunji slowly took it and shake it “Creepy smile” she thought

“Do Kyungsoo” The smaller guy said, he have big eyes, not smiling. Eunji also shook his hand “Creepier”

“Jongin Kim” The tall and tanned guy said, a well-built body can be seen through his thin uniform, he smiled at Eunji, but Eunji cannot say that it was a comfortable smile though, it was something else. “Still creepy”

“Oh Sehun imnida” The another tall guy with with skin and a poker face said, he smiled, but he looked like a brat that was just forced to meet a friend of his mom, but still Eunji smiled back to him and shook his hand. “A bit creepy”

Eunji smiled and bowed to them all while sitting, since she couldn’t stand up

“Hey, she’s pretty y hyung” Jongin whispered to Baekhyun who elbowed him, making him flinch
