She takes a long careful look at the various items of the vending machine, even though she knew that it was a waste of time. After all, kyujung was craving for canned coffee and also, she had long memorized the contents of the metallic white box, looking tired from its years of getting kicked around by frustrated trainees that needed a punching bag – you could see the small dents, looking like bruises. Fumbling around in her pocket for the extra change that she knew was there, she slotted some coins before pressing the button just below the canned coffee she had been craving for.
The vending machine made this churning noise before she heard the sound of metal against metal. Kyujung reached for the opened slot at the bottom, grabbing the can and relishing in how cold the metal felt. Gulping it down, she felt a chill running down .
She takes a quick look outside, noticing how the window-panes are slightly frosted. She could barely see anything – except for the distorted lights especially since it was already dark outside. She could hear a car speeding and deduced that it was at least nine in the night. She had basically wasted an entire day – doing nothing but waiting. That time could be used more productively – like practicing because it’s been three years since she is a trainee in sm and she still could not keep her balance when she is dancing in heels.
Looking back into the hallways, she realizes how the sm building feels sterile
