“Yoo Taekyung, is it?” One of them starts, not bothering to look up from what seems like a makeshift table. You would think that SM entertainment, with its booming business, would at least have the decency to get them a table that did not creaked every time they inserted a tiny bit of pressure on the wooden surface. The stupid thing was so old; you can see some of its paint already peeling off the wood. That, and there were also some uncouth vocabulary scribbled onto the surface of the table that no civilized person would speak from their tongue.
“Did you come up with this on your own?”
This, referring to the choreography that Taekyung had just performed. Taekyung nodded a little, managing to come up with a tiny yes as she tried hard to catch her breath. Maybe it is the adrenaline in her veins; the feeling of blood rushing through her system but she can’t help feeling if only a little satisfied. She had worked hard on this choreography – and while it was a far stretch from SM’s usual girly routines, Taekyung felt as if she had slipped into a pair of old converse – she had felt comfortable.
Still, she kept her face straight; neutral – biting her lips a little as she tried to remember her settings; dull white fluorescent lights overhead with a couple of her usual trainers in a vacant dance studio. It didn’t matter
