“What do you want?”

“You have to tell me what really happened. I know it's just a picture but you can't be all mad about it. That was over 20 years ago!” said Gunhee

“Did you get a new number?” Heechul asked, avoiding the topic

“This is Dana's phone”

“I’m hanging up now”

“Wait!” shouted Gunhee

“왜 (Why)?!”

“You really need to tell me what's going on because being this mad is too extreme even for you” said Gunhee

“Do I have to spell it out for you? Do you even know what I've been going through all these years?” said Heechul; he just had to let it all out

“Honestly, no”

“I can't tell you over the phone”

“Then tell me in person, open the door”

Heechul slid on his pink socks and went to the front door where he looked at the screen of the intercom. Gunhee smiled and waved at him to open the door. Heechul rolled his eyes and pressed the door for him to enter.

“What the hell is so important you couldn't tell me over the phone?” asked Gunhee

Gunhee quietly entered the living room but just stood at the entrance instead of plopping down on the sofa as if it were his own home. Heechul turned around to see the other being different from his usual self.

“So are you just going to stand there like a piece of furniture and not speak?” asked Heechul

“I'm tired of this” said Gunhee

“What the hell are you talking about?”

“All of this, being caught in between you and Dana. What was the whole deal with that picture?” Gunhee asked

“I---“

“So you 2 knew each other when you were kids. Why are you being all ice queen and freezing us all out?”

Heechul's face suddenly went blank. He was suddenly taken over by trepidation as Gunhee went straight out with his question. He sat down on the white couch and turned to look at the blank wall in front of him. With his arms crossed, Gunhee waited for the other one's answer.

“I've never told anyone this before....even the members, especially the members” said Heechul

“뭐가 (what)?”

“Dana… 내 첫사랑 (She was my first love). Ugh! That sounds so embarrassing!”

Heechul cleared his throat and looked at Gunhee who was still standing in the same position, with an even more confused expression than before.

“Don’t tell me, you became a celebrity to look for her? I think I've heard this story before” said Gunhee

“Will you shut up and let me talk?”

The other gestured for him to continue.

“I promised...I promised her father that I would be rich someday and good enough for his daughter” Heechul explained

“This was when you were in elementary school, right? What kind of kid makes that kind of promise with an adult?” said Gunhee

“Her dad was this rich executive and my parents were...in his words "not at their level"” said Heechul

“That's a mean thing to say” Gunhee said

“I'll say… and as much as I hated the guy, I loved Dana more than myself” Heechul admitted

“진짜 (Really)? I’m finding that hard to believe considering you 2 were literally kids” said Gunhee

“We mature fast in the countryside”

“I’m from the same town as you. Anyway, so if you finally found Dana all this time, why are you freezing her out?” Gunhee asked

“Because I'm still not at their level” said Heechul
