I now allowed my tears to fall from his blunt statement. I heard him scoffed and within seconds I felt his rough hands pulling a fistful of my hair. “Your tears won’t affect me. How many times do I have to tell you that?” He grabbed my cheeks and for a moment a flash of pity was seen from his eyes but it was gone in an instant.
