Duck and Beautiful stranger
Compilation of KyuSung DrabbleWarning : unedited
It was one of day in the summer when the weather was good, not too hot and just bright sunny. Yesung just closed his door to go outside to enjoy his summer break. He planned to go to the park near his house to take some pictures of himself so he can post them later on SNS, you know to update his media social life. That was his original intention until he spotted a lanky man with brown hair, sitting on the bench near the lake, reading a thick book. Yesung scooted closer to see the person better and he had decided that the man was the definition of beautiful. Soft brown locks fell flawlessly on his forehead, his sharp nose and full lips complimented his feature perfectly. He couldn’t see him properly but he was sure that the man was gorgeous, based on from some features that he had seen. Yesung wanted to know more about this stranger on the bench but he didn’t have the courage to greet him. He sat at the bench across the beautiful stranger and pretended to check his phone, once in a while he would secretly peek at him. The beautiful stranger was too immersed with his book and for some reasons, Yesung thought it was endearing. After some hours, the beautiful stranger checked on his watch and gasped, probably he didn’t realize how long he had been here. Yesung glanced at the male infront of him who was now busy placing his books and left-over sandwich into his backpack. When the male stood up, finally Yesung saw his full face and he swore that it was worth to wait for hours. A pair of warm chocolate orbs locked with him and for second he forgot how to breathe. Those eyes were him, making his legs feel like jelly and he was wondering how this could happen. The beautiful stranger threw a tiny smile at him, acknowledging his presence then walked away, leaving Yesung with this warm buzzy feeling in his stomach.
From that day on, it was like a routine for Yesung to visit the park everyday just to see his beautiful stranger. The man usually would sit at the bench near the lake to read his book and Yesung would sit at the bench across him, pretending to play or listen to music with his phone while secretly glancing at him. He reminded himself that he wasn’t acting like a stalker. Even if he was one, he was a cowardly stalker since he didn’t even have the courage to greet the beautiful stranger. Weeks passed by and one day he went to the park, spotting his beautiful stranger already immersed with his book, chuckling at how cute he looked but what made him frown was that an elderly couple were already sitting at his bench, the bench across him. He grumbled because there was no way that he would shoo them away. He was whining mentally because he didn’t want to go home since the beautiful stranger was still at the park. He didn’t want to miss any time just to see him. At the end, he went to the side of the lake so he would have excuse to be around him. Some kids were feeding ducks and since Yesung didn’t have bread crumbs to feed the animals, he decided to take picture of the ducks instead. He had no choice after all, he couldn’t pretend to be near the beautiful stranger’s bench without doing anything. He would look like a creep for sure.
“Hey Mr. Duckie~ Let me take a picture of you.” Yesung giggled childishly. The situation was a bit funny to him. Never in his life, he did something absurd like this. All because of the beautiful stranger.
He pressed the camera button and a sudden flash came out from the back of his phone. That was when everything went wrong. The flash had scared the big duck and made it raised it’s wings up. The duck made angry quack and flapped the wings into Yesung’s direction. Yesung was horrified and backed away, he tucked his phone inside his jeans’ pocket but oh boy, it was clearly a wrong move since the duck started to attack him senselessly. Scrambled away with shaky legs,
