It was my eighteenth birthday today and I woke up as usual thinking it was going to be normal like my other birthdays before, but oh god how wrong I was that morning.
I had just finish getting ready for the day when my little sister burst into my room

Eunmi closed the door to my room and embraced me with a loving hug. "My unnie Your growing up so fast!~"

I rolled my eyes but returned the hug.

"Calm down eun-ah I'm only two years older than you."

"But you're legal now that means you can leave me and appa whenever you want!"

"You know I wont because I love you both so much. Now, help me clean up the house a bit.  grandmother is coming over soon and you know how she hates big messes. I believe you know what to do." I told her breaking the hug.

I could have sworn her skin turned white like chalk. "That woman hates me!" She yelled frantically.

"Who hates you Kim Eunmi?" A low, sleepy voice slurred the question that came from the couch in my room. "KAI! HURRY AND HIDE! GRANDMOTHER KIM IS COMING OVER!" I yelled.

Honestly, that woman was so scary and strict, even Kai my 'Brave, strong and manly' cousin is scared of her.

Kai who had stayed over at my house and slept in my couch was suddenly fully awake and on his feet.

Holy shi-" My older cousin was cut off by a screech of terror. "MOTHER'S COMING TODAY?" Appa ran into my room and was looking at himself in the mirror smoothing out his spiky hair. He had a dress suit on and a brief case in his right hand.

"Appa, why are you dressed liked that?" I asked. "Appa has to look his best when your grandmother is coming over. She says 'Even photographers' have to look their best!' and if Appa doesn't then Appa's in trouble." He explained.

He than turned to Eunmi and started to complain, even though I knew he was directing it to me "EUNMI!! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER?"

"Now isn't the time. Grandmother is arriving in ten minutes!"  Eunmi spoke calmly after her initial shock as she wiped the windows from the hall.

She cleared her voice and spoke in a demanding voice, "Eunji, Appa, Kai HELP CLEAN. Eunji, your cooking and cleaning the kitchen. Appa, the Living room. Kai, the bathrooms and, make the presents!"

As I told her before, she knew what to do because as sure as hell I Didn't know where to start . "QUIT WASTING TIME!" she yelled.
