Foreword
He told me he was leaving. He told me he rather not have me wait for him because he did not know his return. He told me that I hold a special place in his heart. He told me I will never be replaced. After all the things he has told me, it seems as if they were meaningless. He could tell me a thousand more sweet words, but they will only wreck my heart because in the end, I would not have him to call my own. In the end, I will be left alone, a memory that will soon fade. Knowing that his departure will bring me heartache, I gave myself up. I let him in knowing full well that he was going to leave me.
