“how have you been?” Kris asks

“I’ve been well.” You say and bow your head

“how did you and Suho meet?”

“we met the day I knew I was pregnant. I was walking down the sidewalk when I accidentally tripped and he caught me.” You say and sip your tea

“why didn’t you tell me?” Kris whispered

“I got so afraid.”

“afraid of what?”

“afraid that you’d reject me. Afraid that you wouldn’t take the responsibility.”

“why would I do that?” Kris looked at you. Dumbfounded.

“can’t you see? You’re an idol and I’m just a nobody” you hid your face from him

“we’re still people. We’re the same. That’s not a valid reason” Kris looks at you in the eye

“I’m not beautiful. I’m not perfect. I’m just a nobody” you say and keep your head down

“to me, you’re not. You’re perfect for me” Kris smiles at you tenderly

“you’re just saying that”

“if you could have stayed that morning after. Now would be different”

“I don’t get it.” You got confused

“have you ever believed in love at first sight?” Kris asked you

“no.” you whispered

Kris suddenly holds your hand “because I did. I believed in love at first sight the moment I saw you”

You blushed at what he said

“and I will do anything to be with you”

“you will?”

“yes” Kris then smiles “can I ask you a question?”

“what is it?”

“do you love me too?” you can see Kris blush as he asked the question

“of course, I do” you say

“then would you mind giving us a chance?”

“yes, I would love that” you smile

“should we date first or should we get married?” he asks

“aren’t you taking things too fast? If we get married now?”

“we already have Ace. So why waste time on dating?” he teases you

“Kris, you’re forgetting something” you say and chuckle

“I forgot to bring an engagement ring?” Kris scratches his head

“Kris…” you voice becoming serious “you’re a celebrity.”

“so?”

“your company and contract wouldn’t allow it”

“then we’ll get married in Canada. That wouldn’t be a breach in my contract and you’ll get to meet my family” he smiles at you

“let’s take things slow please. We don’t even know each other’s surnames.”

“my stage name is Kris but my real name is Wu Yifan. I’m Chinese – Canadian and…” Kris then starts telling you about himself.

You were cooking when you hear the doorbell ring. You go to open the door

“Yifan!” you say and hug him

“hey! She’s the noona with the kid that looks like Kris!” Baekhyun says and then, as if on cue Ace runs up to Kris

“daddy!” Kris lifts him up

“why don’t you guys come in” you say and open the door. All 12 members rush in

“something smells great!” Suho says

“oh, I’m cooking hot pot” you say

“hot pot?” 11 voices say in chorus and their eyes twinkling in excitement then you hear Kris’ chuckle

“they eat a lot” Kris says

“I cooked a lot. Suho told me that you guys were coming” you say as you go to the kitchen

“hyung, you know her?” Chanyeol asks

“we’re friends” Suho then looks at Kris

“hyung, that kid really looks like you” Sehun says

“because…” Kris kisses Ace’s forehead “he’s my son”

You could hear gasps and Tao choking on his tea

“you have a son?” Xiumin asks

“yes, I have a son. But let’s keep this a secret. I don’t want the company knowing”

“what’s his name? and how old is he hyung?” Kyungsoo asks

“his name is Ace. He’s already 3 ½ years old” Kris then ruffles Ace’s hair. The little boy laughs and hugs his father

“aww, that is so cute!” Luhan says

“if he’s 3 ½ years old then that means… you had him before we debuted?” Lay said

“so hyung, are the two of you married?” Chen asks

“no, but we’re planning to do it in Canada.”

“lunch is ready” you yell through the kitchen
