Tao laid down in his bed and tried to process what had just happened. He and Kris had never really been close. He had even tried to warm up to him by giving him a dose of his aegyo, but Kris just always changed the subject right as he was about to do it. Pretty soon, Tao just accepted that Kris was just a hard-to-approach kind of guy, and learned to just let it go. All he wanted was to shower and get to bed as early as he could today. The filming, and on top of that the practice wore him out. He wondered if Kris was aware that he had a raging . Wait.. What? Of course he knew that he had a . What man wouldn't notice? Why was he even thinking about it? It didn't matter. Tao curled up into a little ball and threw the covers over his head. 

"I just need some sleep." He concluded.

     In the room next to Tao's, Kris was getting dressed, chuckling quietly to himself at the reminiscence of Tao trying to avoid facing Kris, and washing up as quickly as possible. Even after he was finished, he leaped out of the shower and dried himself off at 200mph before excusing himself. Now that he had successfully completed stage one, it was time for stage two. He decided that even a badboy needed to have his niceboy charms. 

     Throughout the week, Kris had indulged himself in being on his best behavior. He would smile whenever Tao looked his way, pulled out chairs, and even opened doors for him. Pretty soon, it was time to film the second episode of Showtime. The topic was "What do the Exo members do after their schedules?" All the members were all excited to have an easy night. They took it as a chance to just relax, and have a bit of fun. Chanyeol, Baekhyun, Sehun, Kris, and Tao made their way to Hongdae to have dinner while the other members went to have their own fun. Kris even took the courtesy to take charge of the menu when they were ordering. Not knowing the Korean foods were a slight disadvantage, but he felt like his black, badboy attire made up for it. He even put on a badass hat. Kris couldn't help but notice that the more Kris tried to help Tao, the farther Tao seemed to distance himself.

    On the other hand, Tao was utterly terrified. Whatever he did, and where ever he went, Kris seemed to be right on his tail. He smiled at him like he knew some sort of dirty secret, and almost knocked him over when he pulled out a chair from underneath him. He concluded that Kris was trying to kill him when he opened the door while the car was still moving. He preferred the Duizhang that slightly ignored him over this crazy psycho one. When Kris decided to tag along to Hongdae with the rest of them, Tao was slightly worried. 

     After the main course, the boys decided that they would go pick up some street food. Heck, Chanyeol said that he would even buy. After buying Ddeokbokki and a few other items, they all sat down at a booth. Tao had immidiately fallen in love with the street food, and Kris decided that the Ddeokbokki was messy as well. He couldn't even imagine what he would do if the red sauce got on his new coat. 

"I don't eat Ddeokbokki." 

    But once again, things didn't go as planned when the smell of the red sauce penetrated his senses and his mouth began to water. 

"Just one bite..." He thought.

     But before he knew it, he was engulfing the Ddeokbokki, and was quite pleased until Chanyeol pointed out that everyone was eating the food. The members giggled, and joined in teasing "Cold Guy Kris". Kris blushed, and cursed himself for giving into his weaknesses.

 "Next time." He thought. "I'll get another chance, I'm sure."

     The end of the night involved the boys returning to their dorms with light hearts. It had been a while since they had had a fun night like this. As expected, Tao made a beeline for his shared room with Xiumin to avoid Kris. Also expected, Kris grabbed Tao's arm.

"I need to speak with you for a minute."

     The two boys headed out the door they came through a few seconds prior, and the remaining boys looked at each other. 

"Ohhhhh maaaannn Tao's in trouble!" Chen exclaimed.

"Kris duizhang mode is definately on!" Lay chimed in.

     Kris led Tao down the stairs and onto a balcony of their dorm apartment complex. He turned around and fixed his gaze on Tao while Tao lowered his.

"Why have you been avoiding me lately?"

"..."

"Tao. Answer me."

"..."

"Tao!"

"..."

"Tao... Are you crying?"

     Kris had not expected this coming. He walked over and lifted Tao's head to meet his eyes.

"Can you tell me what's wrong?"

     A few sniffles and teardrops later, Tao started to talk.

"Hyung.. Why are you being so creepy lately? I feel like I can't even do anything without you watching my every move, and I realize that you're the Duizhang, and I'm the maknae, and that I'm always lacking.. but It's really scary and when you dragged me out here I got even more scared and then hyung you yelled at me! Why did you yell at me...?"

     A few more drops of tears fell from Tao's eyes and Kris flinched. He was so engulfed in trying to follow his plan that he had become oblivious to Tao's feelings. Kris wiped away Tao's tears with his thumbs and started to apologize.

"Tao... I'm sorry. I was only trying to become closer to you.. and I guess it kinda set off the wrong idea." 

     And it was true. Kris hadn't said a single lie in the sentence, but he did leave out the most important part. It was:

"I love you..." 

     Kris and Tao looked into each other's eyes, and for the first time, the two felt a little bit of a connection to each other. Kris couldn't help but compliment himself. This was so romantic. They were set high on a balcony, and the lights of Seoul shined beneath them. It was perfect. Perfect until a sudden breeze blew a little dust in Kris' nose and caused him to sneeze. The sneeze startled Tao and he backed up into a little chair that had been there. He tripped, and ran into the door, scratching his face in the process. Tao let out a little squeal, and this time Kris was startled. Tao immidiately took out his phone and the selfie mode of his camera. He observed his face and his eyes became wide as he located the scratch right below his cheekbone. He dropped his phone and looked at Kris in utmost horror. 

"Hyung..."

"I'm so sorry Tao, are you okay?" Kris began to walk towards the younger and grasped his shoulders with each hand.

"Hyung..."

"Yes?"

"Can you see it?" Tao pointed to his little scratch with tears welling up in his eyes.

"Yeah, but it's really little. I can go get a bandaid and I-" Kris' sentence was cut off by a wail.

"HYUNG I'M UGLY! LOOK AT IT! IT'S HUGE AND EVERYONE CAN SEE IT!"

     Kris couldn't believe what he was seeing. This six feet tall twenty-one year old was crying because of a measly scratch on his face. A smile crept up to Kris' face because well.. This was ing adorable. He placed both hands on either side of Tao's face and looked him in the eyes.

"Hey, hey look at me!" He waited until Tao stopped trembling and was reduced to sniffling.

"Tao, you're not ugly. I promise. The scratch is really tiny, and I bet you can even cover it up with makeup if it really bothers you that much. Personally I think it looks really cool. Like you got into a fight and you won using your super cool Wushu powers." Kris offered a little smile and hoped that this would calm the boy down.

"Do you really mean it?" Tao managed to say.

"I promise."

"Okay. I believe you hyung. Thanks."

     Kris' heart melted when he saw Tao's smile. And in the next moment, Tao's eyes became wide again.

"Hyung..."

     Kris gave Tao a puzzled look, and before he knew it, Tao was running up the stairs to their dorms with his arms flapping around yelling:

"GUYS! I GOT INTO A FIGHT AND I WON WITH MY WUSHU POWERS! YOU GUYS ALWAYS TEASED ME ABOUT THEM BUT I EVEN HAVE PROOF LOOK AT MY SCRATCH!"

A/N: Hey guys! Ahh... haha back with another chapter! This chapter was mainly all Taoris fluff. I think Tao is just so adorable... haha and I felt bad because the other members are always teasing him about his martial arts. xD The next chapter will be slightly angsty involving Lay. Be expecting a few broken hearts.. Huehuehue~
