After searching endlessly, I have finally found the Thai series that greatly inspired this story that you all thankfully love. 
There are English subs and yes, it is based on a true story about two guys. I believe love is love and I don't discriminate so
if you are uncomfortable with watching a love story between two guys, then I don't recommend this for you.  It is Eng
