When Sungjong wakes up, the first thing he notices is the white light. He blinks, trying to clear his vision but the white light is still there. He sits up and he realises that he's on a strangely comfortable bed which is not his. He wonders if he's in a hospital but then, hospitals are not that white.

Suddenly, a handsome young man appears right in front of him. He doesn't know where the stranger comes from. The stranger just appears out of nowhere.

"Who are you?" Sungjong asks in confusion.

"It doesn't matter who I am," the man tells him. "I'm just here to tell you that you're dead."

"What?" Sungjong asks, astonished. "What are you talking about? I'm pretty much alive."

But the man just continues to talk as though Sungjong did not say anything. "You're dead but now, you're a cupid," the man says.

"A what?" Sungjong asks, frowning in confusion.

"A cupid," the man repeats. "You will return to Earth but not to the place where you lived when you were still alive. Your job is to bring three couples together before you're allowed to enter heaven."

Suddenly, the room seems to be spinning around and Sungjong closes his eyes in order not to get dizzy. The next time he opens his eyes, he finds himself in a different room, trying to process what the man has told him a few minutes ago.
