I think this is the best decision I have ever made… so far. I’m not gonna let Hani slip away from me. I had enough of that from last year. I intend to take Hani back…

“what are you doing?” Yura asked and she looked over the music sheets.

“you’re gonna sing a song?” she asked and I somewhat froze.

“y-yeah.” I said and she looked over the lyrics… and then she… smiled?

“you’re finally going to admit it huh?” she said and my eyes went wide.

“w-what do you----”

“Jongdae. I see the way you look at Hani. I know that you love her.” She said and I felt like the words were caught in my mouth.

“It’s okay. I guess I can’t compete on love between best friends.” She said, a sad smile slowly creeping up her face and I could tell she was close to crying.

. I didn’t think this day would come. I am not prepared though I am a little…

“so I guess this is it huh?” she asked with a smile and the tears in her eyes started to flow.

“thanks for loving me, thanks for all the good things you have done. Thanks for being the best boyfriend.” She said and I hugged her in a flash. She was startled but it was the least I could do. I hurt her so much all because of bad decisions.

“I’m sorry Yura. I’m sorry.” I said and patted her head.

“for what? We don’t choose who we fall in love with Jongdae.” Yura said and I looked at her. She was done crying and now she was smiling.

“I wish you all the luck. I hope she’ll see how much you love her.” She said and even if I felt a little encouraged, I couldn’t help but sigh.

“I hope so.” I mumbled and continued to look at the music sheets.

I really do hope so.

The talent show will be held after the exams. So I guess they’re kinda thinking that we should suffer while studying first and then have some fun while preparing for the talent show.

“wait I don’t get it.” I heard Luhan say and I turned to him, he was doing our recent Math homework with Kai and Sehun.

“you add and then divide, get the percent form and then----” Sehun started but Luhan looked at him blankly.

“aren’t we supposed to subtract something?” Kai asked

“you subtract after you get both answers from the equations.” I in and Luhan scooted over to me with his notebook.

“oh, so you have to get both first?” he asked and I nod

“and then what?” Kai asked

“and then you get the final answer. Though it normally shows up in fraction form.” I reply and the three of them seem to understand.

“I am never gonna pass that math test. Maybe get the cut off mark but that .” Kai sighed and banged his head on the table.

“how about this one?” Sehun asked and flashed me his notebook. It was Statistics.

“if I remember correctly----” I started and they scooted over to listen.

“-----and then you just divide it by…. 3.18?” I wondered cause I forgot it for a bit.

“It’s 1 plus 3.322 log N. N stands for population.” Someone familiar said and we all turned to see Hani.

“3.18… what are you solving?” Luhan said accusingly at me and I glared at him.

“shut up.” I mumbled and then looked away. Although when I looked away, I looked at Hani. she was looking at me. For the first time in history----okay I am overreacting… but seriously…

For the first time in almost two weeks… she looked at me and it was not just a glance. In fact, she’s still looking at me right now.

“what about this?? Chen thought us this but I don’t trust it now.” Kai said

“YAH!!! After helping you that’s what you say!? That’s correct!” I protested.

“wrong.” Hani then replied and I looked at her.

“you multiply, not subtract. Then you divide by the total given and then that’s the final answer.” She said

“isn’t that for another equation?” I asked with a raised eyebrow.

“the one you thought was for the other equation, you mixed it up.” She defended and I grabbed the notebook from her hands.

“yah! I’m not done looking!” she yelled and grabbed it back before hitting me with it. THIS GIRL!!

“Honeybee!” I whined and then everything stopped.

AWKWARD.

“sooooooooooooo…. What do we do after that?” Kai butted in and I was back to solving their problem.

“you get the final answer as I have said. Listen carefully you dark kid.” Hani joked and I couldn’t help but laugh with the others

“I AM NOT DARK!! I have y bronze skin!! BRONZE!!” Kai yelled

“you’re dark.” Hani replied with a straight face and we all had a laugh. I missed this.

“so that’s the last lesson, be sure to study from the beginning up to this for your final exams. Good luck!” our teacher said and then left the room

“she made it sound like it was a piece of cake.” Kai mumbled and slumped on the table.

“awwww… is baby Jongin having trouble?” Hani teased and Kai glared at her.

“it’s not just me.” Kai replied and turned to Luhan and Sehun who looked just as worried as he was. The last lesson was actually easy, but you have to make sure you get all the right numbers for the equivalent or else you’ll get the answer wrong.

“Hani!! I need to pass this test! If I don’t… my parents will skin me alive and take me back to China!!” Luhan whined like a six year old.

“well, I’m free tomorrow, I can teach you.” Hani replied with a smile and I saw Luhan’s eyes lit up.

“really? Yay! You’re the best friend ever!!” Luhan cheered and hugged her.

“do you want to come?” she asked Kai who nodded with a pout. Just then…

“GUYS!! I have a dilemma!” Chanyeol burst in while Baekhyun followed

“what?” Luhan asked and Chanyeol took out his notebook and flashed it before our eyes

“you got a 10 out of 30 in the quiz??” Kai asked and grabbed Chanyeol’s notebook.

“hey! It was hard okay!? I can’t remember all of those equations!” Chanyeol flailed and I saw Baekhyun shake his head.

“Hani is teaching us tomorrow. Why don’t you come?” Luhan offered

“really? Sure thing!” Chanyeol said

“wait a minute! I can’t teach all of you at the same time! That would be hard…” Hani protested

“thre’s just six of us. How hard could that be?” Sehun asked

“if it’s you six then it’s very hard. I can call Kyungsoo over but he’s preparing for College Entrance exams already.” Hani said

“what about Chen?” Baekhyun asked and all eyes were on me. I suddenly felt my heart race, if I go with them tomorrow, I can spend time with Hani. spend the time that I missed having with her.

“me?” I asked.

“him?” Hani asked back and she pointed at me like she didn’t trust me. OUCH HANI. STRAIGHT AT THE HEART.

“he’s become good in Math trust me.” Kai said and Hani gave me a look like she didn’t believe it.

“is it that hard to believe?” I asked

“of course. You’re dumb in math.” She replied with a straight face and out of habit, I threw her my notebook but she dodged.

“guys! Focus!” Luhan whined and Hani patted his head.

“alright. My place tomorrow after class” She informed and we all nodded.

I suddenly felt excited, after all this time… I can spend some time with her again.
