Sakura Kinomoto has successfully become the new owner of the Clow Cards and have transformed them into the Sakura Cards. Sakura is now able to sustain life for Yue, one of the two guardians for the cards, with her magic. Because the other guardian Cerebus, also known as Kero, can sustain his own life force from another source.

As things have become peaceful and there is no longer a catastrophe to befall the world now, Sakura and Xiaolang, also known as Syaoran, are able to live a calm life. They have grown, have married, and have given birth to a pair of lovely daughters. They are Renge and Shion, both of whom are twin sisters and named after flowers just like their mother.

Unfortunately, after the mysterious disappearance of their parents, the sisters are then separated from one another. Sadly, in the process, the girls are rendered with amnesia and the Sakura Cards have somehow once again been scattered to be collected once more across all of Japan.

Now, it's up to the twins to reunite with the collected cards as both guardians, Cerebus and Yue of the cards, each search for one of the twins to aid them. Once done, all four and others will be able to save Sakura and Xiaolang from an unknown evil force. First though, the girls must restore their lost memories to re-awaken their already pre-destined fates. Because without the other being awaken, the cards cannot be reunited as both Renge and Shion are each a half of a whole.

This means that one twin is master of one half, while the other twin is the other master of the second half of the deck of Sakura cards. With that difficulty already in play, the other complications come in the form of four young and mysterious men whom the sisters come across each. With these eight men in their lives to complicate matters more and claiming to be someone of their past, what will become of their future once the girls regain their memories?

With life already in question, their fates already decided, and the worries of reuniting with their parents; will the pair of sisters be able to just live in peace once more? It's because they now live every day starting afresh with a blank page every time they wake up. And the only memory they hold is an image of their parents calling out and reaching towards them while fading further and further away every time the sisters try to run towards them.

Renge and Shion Li have a very intertwining fate that leads one to wonder how will it ever be sorted out and if the sisters will be able to recover and save the world, their parents, and more importantly; themselves.
