The next day, I went to school. I missed a lot of lessons and I was still weak, but I couldn't be absent anymore.
"Jang Min Jae, I'm sorry for what had happened to your grandmother," Mrs Seo said and patted my shoulder, "but you don't look good. Are you okay? Do you need any medicine?"
"No, I'm not fine, Mrs Seo," I cried, tears flowing out of my eyes, "I can't live if I don't get jobs. I hadn't paid the bills for months and I don't have enough money for them. Now that grandma is gone made it worse. I can't get a lot of money in three days and if I don't pay, I would have to get out of the house and live on the streets. Mrs Seo, what should I do?"
I cried so hard that she quickly hugged me like a loving mother.
"Shhh, don't cry, everything will be okay soon," she comforted me. I sobbed and hold back the rest of my tears as Mrs Seo broke the hug and held my shoulders.
"I'll help you okay? Now tell me how much was the total bills. I'll pay for you," Mrs Seo said and I gasped.
"No, Mrs Seo, you can't pay the bills for me. I had to give you back," I rejected.
"It's the only way I can help you. But if I talked it out with my husband, he would probably find another way out. I'll talk to him first okay?" Mrs Seo asked and I nodded.
"Thank you, Mrs Seo. I don't know what to do without you," I said.
"Your welcome, Min Jae. Now just take a bit rest okay? You look tired out," she smiled.
