I came here again. I dont know why. I dont even know how. One minute i was cleaning my room and the next im here. Why ? How ? I have no idea.

I looked around, and saw a guy sitting on a nearby bench. That’s funny. I didnt recall seeing someone sitting there just now. Nah, i probably just missed it.

I walked to the bench. “Hi.” I said. The guy turned his head around and he smiled at me. He had brown hair, almond shaped eyes and such a beautiful smile. “Hello”

“May i ask, what is the time ?” i didnt bring my watch, and ive lost my sense of time. Dammit. He laughed a little and shook his head. “i dont know. I dont have a watch either”

I sighed. I wanted to know so maybe, i could get a bus or something. If not, then i guess ill just call a cab.  “Oh. Its ok then.”  I said as i began to walk away.

“Wait” a voice called. I turned around.  He beckoned me to sit next to him and held out his hand. “im Kwanghee”. I took his hand and introduced myself. “Kevin”.

‘Kevin.” He said. I looked at him.

“Can you stay ?”

Since then, ive been coming here every night. And every night, Kwanghee would be there. We would talk and talk and just enjoy each other’s company. I learned that he was quite funny and loud, but lonely. How can someone as fun as him be lonely ?

I also noticed that no one besides me dared to come near him. I noticed their whispers and pointing fingers towards us as Kwanghee and i talked. Well. It was probably because of his loud and boisterous laughter. I ignored them.

We ignored them.

That night i came here as usual. I saw Kwanghee sittting at our usual spot, the silvery moonlight making his tanned skin seemed almost glowing and transparent. I went over and sat next to him.

As usual we talked and just hung out together. Suddenly, he turned towards me with a sad smile on his face.  

“I have to go somewhere” he said as he stood up.

I grabbed his wrist. “Where ?”

“Im sorry. I cant tell you” he said, the sad smile still etched onto his features.

“Well, can i come with you ?” i said, my grip still on his wrist.

He hesitated. “Are you sure ?”

“Yes” i have never been so sure in my life, especially since the sad smile morphed into the most beautiful one i have ever seen.

“Okay then”

SEOUL : A dead body has been found in an abandoned park at the suburbs of Seoul. The deceased, identified as Kevin Kim Jiyeob (25) was found by a passerby in a sitting position on a bench. However, he is already dead upon further inspection. Earlier this year, a man by the name of Hwang Kwanghee (25) had committed suicide at the exact location Kim was found. Hwang had committed suicide by cutting his wrists. Police are investigating whether Kim’s death had been homicide or suicide.
