We were talking more casually now. It kind of felt... funny? I never knew I would end up talking with him alone and late at night. We ended up walking together for the rest of the way until we got to his house.

"Well this is late. See ya later slave."

I gently waved and walked next door to my house. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all. Maybe he had a soft side to him...

*beep beep*

I flipped open my cellphone and saw a new text message from Minyoung. Oh man, what was I going to do about her. Maybe I should just apologize for leaving her today, I guess that wasn't right of me either as a friend...

I clicked send and waited for the reply, but it never came. I figured she was probably sleeping then. I sighed and walked into my house to find my parents and my little sister watching a movie on the couch. They didn't even hear me come in probably. I quietly walked up the steps into my bedroom and layed down on my bed. What a day.

It'd be nice to get some sleep. I closed my eyes and drifted off for a second.

*knock knock*

"COME IN!" I shouted.

"Sweetie, tell me about your first day of school!" my mom eagerly said.

I don't think I wanted to tell her about all the horrible things that happened... she would worry too much and probably end up calling the school and making a fool of herself trying to defend me.

"Oh it was great! I met a new friend, her name is Victoria! She's from China. I also met... some other people. School was great and fun! The end." I finished with a bright smile on my face, hopefully that would work.

"I knew you would love it! Okay, well get some sleep okay? Tomorrow's another day!" my mom said as she closed the door.

*beep beep*

I picked up my cellphone and opened it. A new picture message? It wasn't from Minyoung either. How were all these people even getting my number!

OH NO.

It was a picture of Jonghyun and I standing alone, with his arm around me.

"Looks like there's a new couple on campus!" was the message attached.

I looked at the recipients and not only was my number on there, but hundreds of others! This must've been sent to the entire school!

edit: so you guys know how i kind of got the idea from heartstrings? well i hadn't watched episode 5 yet, when i wrote this chapter and the one before, and in the real show, they actually did become neighbors like my story. Bwahahahha what a coincidence
