We crossed the street and made our way towards the restaurant. It was pretty empty except for some other students eating. We took a seat and looked at the menu, but neither us knew what to choose. Victoria-ssi didn't know Korean food well enough to order anything else besides the plain dukkbokki so we just ordered that.

"So, long story?" she finally said.

"Alright well its not that long, but anyways, I actually did know that girl. She's my best friend, Minyoung. But there was this situation that happened, and she was right there witnessing it but didn't bother to come and help me. So I've just been sort of... mad at her. She wanted us to meet up after school today, but I didn't want to talk to her."

Victoria listened diligently and nodded several times throughout the story.

"So it was like that..." she replied.

Neither of us spoke after that for a while.

"Want to hear my story?" she finally spoke.

"Sure." I replied. She had a story too?

"Well, I transfered here before you did, and my first day wasn't so good. My boyfriend then, now ex-boyfriend, was really popular at the school and when everybody found out I was dating him, they all hated me. Eventually, my boyfriend got sick of everything and broke up with me. After that, nobody wanted to talk to me and the fact that I was a foreigner made everything worse because people would be talking behind my back and I didn't know what they were saying. I often try to make conversation with other people, but then they hear me introduce my name and they end up ignoring me... You're the first person that hasn't done that, so I wanted to quickly become friends with you!" she laughed awkardly at the end, clearly embarrassed by her story.

"Wow..." that was all I could say. "Who was your boyfriend at the time?"

"Kim Jonghyun. I knew him back at my old school and we dated for a while."

KIM JONGHYUN WAS HER EX BOYFRIEND?! Well, I guess I could see that after all, Victoria-ssi was extremely gorgeous...

Victoria must've sensed my surprise because then she asked me if I knew him.

I nodded. "Not only do I know him, I'm now his slave for 100 days because his popularity decreased because of me."

"Slave? What did you do?"

"There was a stupid rumor made by some stupid girl that I was pregnant with his child..." I said. This is was sort of awkward now because she was his ex-girlfriend. What if she still had feelings for him?

"Oh I see. Was that girl Choi Jieun by any chance?"

I shrugged. "I don't know her name."

"I bet it was her. She's known for doing these type of things, especially when you cross the line with her. Did something like that happen to you?"

"Umm... well... you see... I sort of slapped her as payback for her tripping me on purpose."

Victoria bursted out into laughter and highfived me. "GOOD JOB! It's about time she gets what she deserves." she smiled.

Just then, a couple of guys walked in the restaurant. Victoria and I turned around to see who they were.

Oh crap.

Kim Jonghyun, Lee Taemin, and some three other guys who were pretty cute.

Were they all best friends?!
