The Way to Unlocking the Key to Your Heart

Description

A/N: This is more like a prologue, but yeah. Ahaha.. it was required but I wasn't too sure what to write so forgive me. <3

When you were thirteen, your family had been the perfect family. Your parents were rich, and owned a large company together, and even when they were busy, they still gave as much unconditional love and unlimited support to you and your two brothers as any normal, caring parent would. Your oldest brother, Kris, was handsome, smart, and he excelled in sports, specifically basketball. Yixing, your other brother, was handsome and smart also, but he didn't excel in sports like Kris, his specialty was dance. Being the youngest child, you had a lot of expectations from your parents, however, just as your brothers, you filled your parents with pride at your grades since school was so simple for you. However, your talent was a little different from your brothers. You weren't the most coordinated person, and you definitely couldn't dance for your life, but you were gifted with an amazing voice and incredible ability to play any instrument that you desired to learn. Your family was basically the perfect family that everyone else envied. However, all of that changed within a year. Your mother had passed away in a car accident, and with the absence of your mother, your dad seemed to have altered into a whole new person. He started to drink more often, and would often yell or abuse either you or your brothers. Your dad seemed to no longer care about your or your brother's happiness any longer. He forced you three to learn more about business, and told the three of you to abandon your dreams of becoming a basketball player, a dancer, or a singer. He became a lot colder towards the three of you, and you believed the only reason he stayed for you three was so that one of us could take over his company one day. Your father had become a cold-blooded monster that you could no longer recognize. He paid more attention to work, and never gave a second look at yours or your brother's accomplishments anymore. Your once kind-hearted father, and last alive parent was gone. Forever.

You were now 16, Yixing was 17, and Kris was 18, and your father was remarried to an evil creature you had to call your step-mother who only married your father for his money, but of course he didn't realize that. Your brother's behaviors have also changed along with your father's. Kris became rebellious and disrespectful towards both your father and step-mother. He often argued and cursed at them when your father would force him into doing things he didn't want to, which led to bruises left on his face the next day. He had even changed his last name to "Wu", your mother's maiden name, because he hated your father so much. Kris had also become a badass and often rebelled against the teachers, which got to the point where Kris was pulled out of school, and your father had private tutors teach him. Yixing on the other hand, did not rebel towards your father using words, but instead actions. Yixing stayed a good student, and continued to excel in school and in dance, but of course your father did not know that Yixing still pursued his dream. The way he rebelled against your father was by going out to clubs and bringing different women home every night. When your father was home to see this, he would of course beat and yell at Yixing for doing such things and tell him that he was bringing shame to the family. Even if your brothers' relationship with your father wasn't as strong as it used to be, you and your brothers seemed to become closer, united by the missing void that your parents' should've filled. They had always defended and comforted you when your step-mother or father would abuse you with words or physically. Unlike your brothers, you stayed obedient and respectful towards both your father and step-mother no matter how badly they mistreated you. You continued to do well in your academics, knowing that you'd be greatly punished if you did not. However at school, you were known as the biggest player on the campus. You crushed hearts, and you knew what you were doing, but you did this because you would rather hurt a person than be fooled into loving someone and having them change one day and end up hurting you as your father has. There could never be a person, outside of your brothers, that you could ever trust to love again... could there?
