Where did the time go?

You were young five years ago 

Now, I see you’ve grown

Your hair, hands, legs, face

All elongate and mature, 

Growing and morphing

Shaping and forming

Into the man you are now

My, look how time’s changed!

Are you still the same?

Have your eyes lost their tinkle?

Tell me, do you dream?

Are you still hopeful?

I’ve seen you transform, but please,

Don’t become like me.

Stay young and free

Have faith in humanity

Don’t forget to love

Unfortunately

Not everyone gives a damn

‘Bout your well-being

But you know I do

That’s why I’m here to tell you

Don’t get discouraged

People will mess up

Believe in a second chance

But never a third

And learn to forgive

Being bitter ruins you

And corrupts your soul

People aren't perfect

You may not like what you see

But they're human too

Never forget that

Because the world is too harsh

So don't stress yourself
