He couldn’t believe it. He did not just see Minho holding hands with a stranger. He didn’t even notice the twinkle in his eyes as he leaned into the woman, whispering something in her ear. That wasn’t Minho; it was just someone who looked like him. Plenty of tall people existed in the world; many people could also have the same Apalanche trench coat too. There was no reason to get upset because he’s heard of people having doppelgangers before.

It couldn’t have been Minho. Minho was trustworthy and faithful; hell, Minho loved him, he heard him say it out of his own mouth. He knew Minho wouldn’t lie to him.

So when he greeted his boyfriend later in their apartment, he was oblivious to how late Minho was. He didn’t notice Minho’s smile falter for a fraction of a second or how the skin around his eyes didn’t crinkle.

He never realized how Minho’s lips smelled like raspberry when he moved in for a hug. He didn’t care. All he cared about was how warm he felt in his arms which compelled him enough to say, “I love you.”

He didn’t hear how the other hesitated before reciprocating the same.

Nothing matters because he loves me and he truly believed it.
