THAT IS NOT TRUE~~~!!!!!

The empty playground echoed. birds flew from trees, stray cat's began to ran away..

"Yes! Yes, it is TRUE, Mari!!!" Sungyeol fanning my (now colorless) face.

"How do you know?" I said, sounding upset,

"Well, I'm a guy! I should know!!!" Choding told me and added, "I knew you won't believe me! That's why I have this!"

He grab his cellphone and put it close to my face.. there's a picture on it..

"W-what's that?"

"It's a proof! tadah~~" he zoomed the picture, my jaw dropped.

"They're holding hands! Aren't they Mari?"

"It looks like it... but.. this is just holding hands..."

"What? just holding hands? Guys don't hold hands!" choding exclaimed, then added "Unless if it's with their girlfriends~"

And by that, I wonder.. yeah Sungyeol's right.. guys don't hold hands like girls with their friends.. I look at choding,

"We hold hands sometimes too,," I said without thinking,

"Yeah, well you're not a guy, are you?"

"Yeah... omo...."

I just can't accept the thought that Sungjong and Myungsoo are.. dating.. Sungjong and Myungsoo are dating? Myungsoo is dating Sungjong? Sungjong is???

"NOOOOO!!!!!"

"What the? Mari! Snap out of it! I know your upset 'cause Myungsoo is now our brother and Sungjong.. we know him for quite sometime now, but put your senses back together.." Choding said while shaking me slightly..

ahh choding you don't understand.. you.. uh.. why can't I tell choding? but.. omo.. Sungjong.. huhuhuhu

"NO! This can't be. Choding..?"

"Hmm?" He answered without looking at me,

"We'll find more proof."

"What?! Like how? Are we gonna buy those bug thingy to hear what they're talking about? Or put a tracker on them? Do you wanna stalk them or something?" Choding lowered his voice and started to look around,

"Not those tracking devices.. but yeah.. we'll stalk them." I face choding with my fist in the air.

"Stalk? that's not good.."

"Oh com'on choding! you just took a picture of them!!!" I said pointing at his cellphone,

"It's not like I did it on purpose.. well yeah I did.. that's because I felt something fishy.. but com'on! stalking?! we can go to jail because of that!"

"Fine.. Let's not stalk them.. let's investigate more about them.." I told choding while punching my fist to the air.

"You.. you are so into this huh? Fine.. so what's the plan?" He said giving a sigh..

"Asah!!! So here's the plan..." I started to tell choding how we're gonna disguise ourselves to remain hidden from their eyes..

Choding and I were still busy with our deep conversation that we didn't realize we had company,

"Other people can mistake you kids for being a couple, you know?" Sunggyu said,

"Secret couple.." Woohyun added, That gain cheers from two familiar voices,

We turned around and found Sunggyu, Woohyun, Hoya and Dongwoo. who is still laughing heartily,

"Ah hyung! When did you get here?" Sungyeol said as he approach his hyungs, to give brotherly hugs,

"Just now, Why are you surprised?" Sunngyu asked him giving us a questionable look.

"Uh.. Err.. Well.. I'm hungry.. I get surprise easily when I'm hungry.. ha. ha. ha." choding as usual is not good in making up stories.

"Ah.. jinja?"

"Y-yes hyung.." Choding stuttered and fake a cough then snap me a look that says "help me here".

I step beside Sungyeol, smiled at everybody and greeted them, they smiled and greeted back,

"Mari-ssi we're just joking about that couple thing a while ago.. HAHA!" Dongwoo gave me an apologetic smile,

"It's alright, you guys knew we're really not dating.." I gave him a warm smile,

"Where are you guys going anyway?" Sungyeol asked them,

"We're looking for you. Wanna go hang out and eat dinner? My childhood friend's chicken restaurant just opened in public this morning, they're inviting me to bring friends over," Sunggyu said

Sungyeol look at me, well, we're supposed to be starting our investigation by now..

"I don't think I can hyung, I'm with Mari.. we're supposed to do something else.." the way he said it makes us look suspicious,

They all gave us puzzled looks.

"You know.. art stuff! Mari's having an art project for the art club.. I'll just help her with carrying stuff and building things.."

"Oooh.. art project..!" all of them repeated,

"I heard about that, but that's not until next month..? Starting early is good too.." Hoya said in amazement,

Both choding and I gave a nervous laugh,

"That's sad, Sungjong and L are coming too.." Woohyun said while checking his phone,

Sungjong and Myungsoo are coming? Both choding and I look at each other like we won a jockpot or something,

"Yeah.. maybe I can do that tomorrow instead. Sungyeol you should go with them," I told him nicely,

He nod, but Sunggyu put a hand in front of Sungyeol as if telling him to stop right there.. omo.. we should've agreed sooner..aish~

"Mari-ssi, Why don't you come with us too?" Sunggyu invited me with his trademark eye smile

"I-I would love too.. but.." I started

"There's nothing to be worried about, let's just go., It'll be fun." Sunggyu told me nicely, he prolly remembered what happened before with his ex-girlfriend Erika..

"Oh.. alright then.." I smiled,

"Awesome!!! Now Let's eat!!!" Dongwoo cheered and wave his hands in the air.

I look at Sungyeol he looked back at me, 'eotteoke?' is written on our faces.

We arrived at Sunggyu's friend's chicken restaurant. As we entered the restaurant, We spotted some familiar faces.. teachers from our school, the principal and the vice principal are there too.. I look around trying to find a seat, Sungyeol and the others are busy greeting everyone around.

"Mari-yah this way~" Sungyeol grab my hand, along with tthe others, we headed to a vacant table, and seated there..

People keep greeting the beautiful students I'm with,  so they're bowing and bowing to everyone, and I, on the other hand just sit there in silence when someone called my name,

"Mari-ssi? You're here too!" I look around to see who it was, then I saw Sungjong and Myungsoo heading towards the empty seats in front of me..

I smiled and greeted them, This is awkward.. but I tried not to be obvious,

"What brings you here?" Myungsoo asked,

"I was invited by Sunggyu-ssi to come over with Sungyeol," that time choding look at them and was quite surprised to not notice them arrived,

"Ah.. You two are here, Did you came together?" He asked he seemed out of mind, 

Myungsoo nod, while Sungjong grinned,

"Ne Hyung, We went shopping for dog toys." Sungjong said nicely..

"Shopping?! That's.... cool.." Sungyeol said as I nudge him slightly, I know he'll blew our cover,

The food is on our table already, everything looks delicious, I don't even know where to start,

As we were filling our plates, I saw Sungjong filling Myungsoo's plate, that made me stare at them.. I find it sweet and wrong at the same time. I realized Sungyeol's talking to me, but I wasn't listening so I'm not sure what to answer,

"...Mari, say aah~" He ordered me, so I did, he chuck the food on my mouth, again that prank~ jinja!

"Yarh!" I almost choke.

Hoya, Dongwoo and Woohyun saw this and gave small laughs, I just shrug, and turned to look in front of me, Myungsoo was choosing his food, and transferring it on Sungjong's plate,

"You're not eating vegies?" Sunggyu asked Myungsoo,

"Not vegies.. I don't eat beans." Myungsoo answered as he continue to pick the beans out of his rice,

"That's okay L-hyung! I'll eat all of it!" Sungjong told him sweetly, they both smiled at each other,

I look at choding who has his mouth opened i chuck food in it but it still open and he's still staring at Myungsoo and Sungjong. I forced his mouth shut and he snap me a look that says "i told you so!" i just nod at him.

After dinner, we said are gratitude to the owners and wave goodbye to everyone there,

Now, we're walking our way to the parking lot,

"Ah.. I parked really far.." Woohyun whined, he prolly to lazt to walk now,

"That's awesome food! I'm so full!" Dongwoo said as he rub his stomach,

"Gyu-hyung thanks for bringing us along.. it was really great." Hoya said.

"Anytime.. Have you tasted the Dakkangjung (sweet and crispy chicken)??? whoa~ so daebak! Their granny used to cook a lot of that when we're kids.." As Sunggyu continue his story, me and choding were trying to evesdrop on what Myungsoo and Sungjong are talking about.. we can't really hear it clearly, 'cause they're walking ahead of us.

"...It was really pretty hyung, don't you think?" Sungjong asked Myungsoo,

"Yeah pretty.. it really fits you.." Myungsoo answered him nicely, but in a low voice,

I almost fell when choding nudged me really hard on my sides, he gave me signals to listen,

"Hyung, it'll be another night.. have you been sleeping well?" the younger guy asked,

"Yeah.. how about you? Are you sleeping well lately? I really feel guilty, you often sleep on classes, prolly because of me.."

"No.. it's not your fault hyung, as long as I can see you happy each morning.. I'm fine with just that.." Sungjong said as his voice fades away..

At that moment, Myungsoo and Sungjong walk on the other side of the street, so now, we can't hear the rest of their conversation,

"choding-ah, what was that?" I look at him to find that we have the same expression on our faces,

"That's what I wanted to ask you too.."

"I wonder what's that pretty thing they're talking about?"

"Prolly something Myungsoo bought him.." choding whispered,

"Pretty things are ok.. Sungjongie likes cute things.." I defended,

"Then what's with the cheesy lines.. ack! jinja~?" Choding attacked while whispering..

"That can't be it... Let's see.."

When we reached Woohyun's van, the four of them turned to me, Sungyeol, Sungjong and Myungsoo.

"So, what route goes first? Sungjong or Myungsoo? Uh.. Myungsoo where do you live?" Woohyun ask as he unlock the van,

The four of us somehow flinched at that question, and started to pass looks, then Myungsoo cleared his throat,

"Uh.. err.. I live at a friend's house," Throwing glares at us for not helping him,

"So where does this friend of yours lives?" Sunggyu ask.. it sounds more like interrogating than asking,

"J-just,,,"

"Near my house, right? I saw you passing by there.." Sungyeol saved the day,

"Jinja? why didn't you say so..?" Sunggyu said, his tone returning to normal,

"So, Sungjongie's route first! Then Myungsoo, Sungyeol and Mari, Let's go then.." Woohyun said opening the van and arranging sitting places,

I was seated at the back of the driver's seat, near the window, beside me was Sungyeol, next to him was Myungsoo and Sungjong. at our back were Hoya and Dongwoo who were starting to play a game of rap battle, Sunggyu on the passenger seat at the front beside Woohyun, both fastening their seatbelts.

While Woohyun's driving, Sunggyu's keep telling stories about his childhood friends being successful in a early stage, Sungyeol's listening to him and admiring every bit of it, at our back the rap battle still goes on,, I gaze at the window's glass and watch the lights we pass by, it was so lovely, I bring out ,my cellphone and took a picture of it.. then turned to gaze once again, this time not for the lovely city lights but for the reflection of 2 people who were sitting beside choding.

The reflection of the smiling Sungjong and how he play around with Myungsoo caught my attention, his smile that I always wanted to see I'm seeing it now, but well.. It's not for me.. As the lights from cars and traffic lights fades to just house's lights and street lights, Sungjong's smile didn't waver just get better and better.. I think that its nice to witness this, even if its just through reflection, but my heart seems to be hoping that someday.. somewhere.. somehow.. he'll give the same smile, this time.. for me.

"Aye.. we're here! Sungjongie.. thanks for coming and having time with us.. we'll see you tomorrow, sleep well." Sunggyu said nicely as he went down to open the van's door for Sungjong,

"Thanks too Gyu-hyung! it was really fun! Hoya-hyung, Dongwoo-hyung, Yeolie-hyung, Woohyun-hyung and Mari-ssi~ Anyeong! L-hyung.." he pointed hid phone and Myungsoo nod, "alright then.. See you!" He said in a sweet tone,

His Hyungs wave goodbyes at him, and for some reason I don't want to, Sungjong look at me and smiled, not the same smile like I saw earlier, then I smiled back.

When we reached our street, Sungyeol, Myungsoo and I get down of the van, wave our goodbyes at them, and watch how they get down the van and give Sungyeol "brotherly hugs",

"Thanks for inviting us Sunggyu-ssi, And thank you for bringing us home Woohyun-ssi, Thank you all for tonight, See you in school." I said bowing,

"Anyeong~ See you tomorrow Mari-ssi, Yeolie, and L!" They all say together,

We all smile at each other, and watch as Woohyun drove off..

"Ack! That was close!!!" Choding started while he gave out a deep breath,

"Yah.. I thought we're supposed to tell them where I live when they ask?" Myungsoo said,

"Well, I don't think it's the right time.. we'll tell them soon.. it will be wierd you know," Sungyeol told him,

"Then, when is the right time? I think Sunggyu-hyung spotted something wrong already." Myungsoo snapped at choding who is staring up the sky,

"You just wait, it's not like I also wanted to lie for you.." Sungyeol sounded pissed,

"Alright, that's enough.. we'll tell them in a right place, and a right time.. we'll settle this soon, let's just plan how," I said butting in betwwen them,

"Fine." Both answered coldly,

"Sungyeolie.. You go ahead, I'll watch you from here, there's 2 of us, so no worries.." I smiled at choding while he gave me a worried look,

"Right then, you two--- be careful, Mari I'll call you later.. I'm off." Sungyeol wave at us and went up to his street and infront of their gate and disappeared.

"Let's go," Myungsoo and I headed to where our house is,

"So, you do this often?" he asked,

"What?"

"Watching Sungyeol go home?"

"Yeah when I'm with Nanny, but usually, he's the one watching me go home, other times we watch each other's backs,"

"I see," he said shortly,

There was silence..

"I do the same to Sungjongie before.. when we're kids.." He opened up,

"Cool, we both look out for our friend's backs, then.."

"Yeah.."

The silence this time is a little awkward, I wanted to ask him what's really going on between Sungjong and him, but there's a certain force that's stopping me,

"There are a lot of stars tonight." He started once agian,

"Really bright stars.." I said looking up,

It seems like this night appeared in front of me before, now i remember.. it's the same night that i looked up to and wonder if the guy named Kin Myungsoo was looking up the same night sky..

I smiled and noticed we reached our home.. We went in and greeted Nanny and Uzi, Myungsoo went up first he said he's really tired and needed rest, I on the other hand told Nanny what day I had,

After listening to what day Nanny and Uzi had, I felt a little sleepy, Nanny told me to have a good bath, she prepared a wonderful bath.. I was really excited and went up my room and take a bath..

While in the tub, I noticed Nanny prepared flowers by the side, sunflowers, i like sunflowers, it gave a nice atmosphere, soft and warm.. I took one and started picking out the petals..

"He loves me, he loves me not.. He loves me.. He loves me n.." I shook that idea out of my head and began chanting, "He loves him.. he loves him not.. he loves.." what am i doing?

I may be a liitle tired already to be thinking about that.. I held my breath underwater, while relaxing and calming myself (so drowning yourself is calming jinja?) I kinda heard GD&TOP's knock out.. while I sang along to it.. I realized it was my phone ringing, I pulled myself out from under and saw my phone blinking, grasping for air, I reached for it, a text message? then choding's face appeared.

"Mari.. I've been writing down proofs we witnessed today, its as follows:

1. They went shopping together.
2. Sungjongie's serving Myungsoo.
3. Sungjongie's willing to eat Myungsoo's unwanted food.
4. They're both talking about pretty things.. guys won't say its "pretty"
   unless they're talking to a girl.
5. The cheesy lines. really.. that kinda creeps me out!
6. They're texting each other and keeping hidden laughter,
   that happned when we're in Woohyun's van, they were sitting beside each other,
   and having a conversation via text message?

..Isn't that quite off? really, I don't think we should talk about stuff like this before going to bed. I might end up having nightmares.ㄱㄱㄱ

"HAHAHA!!!" I found myself laughing after reading choding's text message,

I went out of the tub, and get dressed, I sat at my bed and stare at the night sky outside, I opened my window, grab my phone and tried to take a picture of it.. yes.. it's an epic fail.. laughing while patting my head.. I turned off the lights and start to wonder..

What if it's true? What if they really are together..? What am I gonna do?

I curled through the blankets and faced the starry sky.. and began talking to myself..

"How lucky, I saw Sungjong's smile again, but why can't I smile with that thought? is it beacuse it was not for me?": *yawn*

the night's getting darker.. and colder.. but remembering this night like It happened before, made me feel warm..

I suddenly remembered the photo I taken, I wasn't able to look at the outcome..

I smiled when I looked at it, It may not be like the lights I saw earlier.. some may say it's a mess.. but for me..

it turned out even much lovelier than how it supposed to look like..

just beacuse something doesn't go the way you planned it to be, doesn't mean it's useless..

..the gentle wind blew.. as if it's singing a sweet song.. sweet yet melancholy..  but it sure made me feel good.
