In that moment Kyungsoo’s faith in God almighty was proven because he alone knew how he managed to keep his composure.

“Look I’m not going to ask what you’re wearing” Kyungsoo glanced over at Tao who was dressed in nothing but a pink bathrobe and fluffy bedroom slippers. Leave it to Tao to radiate homouality everywhere.

“But I will ask, how, why and what the hell are you doing here?” Kyungsoo continued furiously at the man in the kitchen. 

“Well that’s no way to treat your friends hyung” Tao interjected.

“We are not friends!”Kyungsoo exclaimed.

“Ouch, there you go crushing my hopes and dreams.” The man still without a name replied.

Kyungsoo just threw his hands up in the air and padded back to his room shutting the door behind him. A few seconds later the door swung open and the mysteriously creepy man entered his room. He looked down at Kyungsoo like he wanted to tell him something important and in that moment Kyungsoo just wanted to know who he was; he wanted to know his name.

“Just who are you?” Kyungsoo pondered from the bed partially to himself.

He just laughed,”I thought you’d never ask. I’m Kim Jongin or just Kai or KimJongKai. Different friends, different nicknames”

Kyungsoo really doubted this man even had friends. His eyes grazed his appearance once more, with his loose pants and baggy t-shirt. Honestly Kyungsoo thought he was a hobo the first time they met but looking at him now she saw something civil, human…..he saw something attractive about him.

“You’re staring”Jongin stated now standing closer to Kyungsoo causing him to jump back.

“I-uh –uh”Kyungsoo stammered.

Jongin as if accustomed to this type of treatment just looked at Kyungsoo with a goofy grin saying,”Breakfast is ready. Princess Tao and I worked really hard on it”

Kyungsoo chuckled,”Princess Tao?’

“I don’t know that name just speaks to me, y’know” Jongin replied confidently.

Kyungsoo tried to wipe the smile off his face but this was just too rich.

“But….”Jongin  stopped,”What do I call you?”

“Oh my name is Do Kyungsoo, no nicknames”Kyungsoo answered walking out the door.

Jongin pondered for a bit as if searching for something locked within his brain. When it seemed like he had seen the light of God he stuck his finger in the air and shouted,”D.O that’s your nickname”

“D….O you just…nevermind,”Kyungsoo took a seat around the table.

Jongin produced a sheepish smile saying,”Out of all my nicknames I prefer Kai”

Tao nodded and continued eating. It hadn’t fazed Tao yet that a complete stranger (supposedly Kyungsoo’s friend) was just rambling on about nothing important while Kyungsoo looked impatient and a little annoyed.

The situations he was being put into as of recently were getting ridiculous and just a bit queer but  something told Do Kyungsoo that it was about to get a lot worst.

      Within three days classes began and Kyungsoo thought that would be end of seeing Kai; boy was he wrong.It seemed like that only made his presence more prominent.  Kai’s theory was, and he strongly believed it, that success and progress came in groups. So he would come over to ‘help’ Kyungsoo with his studies by regularly passing out on his bed.

Kyungsoo swore this boy had some kind of disease that made him excited; jumping around one moment then completely drained of energy the other. Or maybe that was just him being a hyper active two year old.

“So D.O hyung” Kai started one day while sprawled all over Kyungsoo’s bed,”When will you finish your work for the day. I want to play”
