- Seohyun’s POV-

I woke up the next morning, surrounded by multiple shopping bags and I remembered what had happened the day before. I remembered how Kyuhyun’s hand felt on my wrist when he stopped me from going inside my house.

I blushed and shook my head from my thoughts. He’s only being nice to me…It’s nothing more than that… I thought naively.

I got up from my bed and got ready for the day. My appa was having a break from work today since it was a Sunday and he would go out to play games with his friends; that meant that I was free to go out with my best friend, Yoona.

We had been best friends ever since we were young and ever since I left school, she was the only one who stayed by my side and she kept me updated with what was happening at school.

I put on one of the new dresses Kyuhyun bought for me and went outside of the shop to wait for her to come.

To my surprise, I saw Kyuhyun outside and he smiled at me.

I waved and couldn’t help but smile back at him and asked him as I went up to him,  “Ah, Kyuhyun oppa! Why are you here?”

He pulled me in for a hug and whispered softly, “I missed you…”

I couldn’t help but blush at his action but I didn’t reply to him.

We stayed that way for a few minutes but it didn’t feel awkward. It felt… right to be with him.

“Seororo~ Who’s this lucky fellow?” a familiar voice asked.

I jumped at the sudden voice and I realised that Yoona was there. I immediately let go of him and so did Kyuhyun.

Yoona went up to me and whispered teasingly, “Ehh~ you’re dating and you didn’t tell me?”

I shook my head quickly. “Ani! You’re misunderstanding unni!” I blushed.

She laughed and smiled. “I was just joking~”

Kyuhyun looked at us with a confused look and I was still blushing a lot even though I didn’t know why.

“It’s nothing Kyu!” I said hoping that he wouldn’t think of anything out of this but I knew that he would.

He nodded slowly and smiled at me. “I understand.” His smile never failed to make me have butterflies inside my stomach.

I blushed once again, staring at him without knowing. I soon got back to my senses when Yoona put her hands on my shoulders and said to Kyuhyun, “Would you like to come with us? We’re going to the amusement park and it’ll be more fun with more people!”

He didn’t even look like he thought about his answer and just said yes straight away. I couldn’t help but feel excited to know that we were going to be going to the amusement park together.

“Well in that case, I guess it’ll be okay for me to tell Minho to come~” she said in a bright tone of voice.

“Of course unni! You can always feel free to tell him to come… it’s just that I don’t want to disturb the two of you!” I said.

She laughed and smiled. I’ve always admired the way that she smiled and was jealous of that but she always told me that she was jealous of me. But why would she be jealous of me? I have felt like I was nothing compared to her...

“Alright! I’ll tell him to come along~ You two can leave first since I need to get a few things to gather before I leave! I’ll meet the two of you there,” she said and winked at me.

I nodded and realised that it was just going to be the two of us… alone… together. I blushed at the thought.

I looked at him and he looked back at me but we avoided each other’s eyes.

What was Yoona unni thinking when she left us?!? How was I meant to survive the entire trip there, with the thought… wait, not just the thought… being so close to him alone for a whole trip?!
