It seemed as if he were about to say something but he nodded blankly like he always did. A faint frown crossed his face as he eyed my outfit.

"What's wrong?" I asked, having caught him frowning again as we stepped out of the cafe with matching cups in our hands. He shrugged. 

 

"Nothing,"

 

He reached for my free hand, pulling it into the pocket of his hoodie. 

 

"I just missed you."

 

He shot me a smile and I felt my insides melt. Convinced for the time being, I asked,

 

"Is just taking a walk alright for today?"

 

He nodded and smiled again.

 

A cool breeze picked up and while sweeping the hair out of my face, I grew mindful of my skirt that was swaying ever so slightly with the wind. Unknowingly, another frown had slipped onto his face.

 

"Oppa, you're frowning again."

 

He blinked blankly.

 

"I am?"

 

"What's wrong?"

 

Silence followed. 

 

He stopped in his tracks, deep in thought. Then, as if he just remembered, he took off his hoodie and wrapped it around my waist, covering my skirt and legs. Nodding approvingly, he smiled sweetly, eyes turning into tiny crescents. My eyes widened in realisation. Apparently finally satisfied, he entwined our fingers and continued walking.

 

Feeling the heat rush to my cheeks, I hung my head and pondered for a moment before reaching over and pressing my lips against his cheek.

 

Moon Jongup was too darned sweet at times.
