I've actually had this one done for a while but couldn't publish it. But I promise I'm working hard on finishing up this short story as well as shared memories. Please wait for part 3 it will be up by tonight or day depending on where you're from. ~Admin Li

Everyone was getting into their groups for the next project. You just looked around the room waiting for the left over group to ask you to be in their group. You watched as many girls walked up to those two boys you saw earlier, Sehun and Kai, all the girls asked to be in their group, but you watched and each and every one of them was rejected. You continued to scan the room for a group that needed another person, but the two boys caught your eye, this time they were walking towards you.

"______ right?" Sehun asked.

You nodded.

"Do you want to be our partner for the project?"

You looked around the room receiving a few glares, it seemed like everyone else had already gotten into their groups. You nodded slowly, which brought bright smiles to their faces.

"Alright class now that it looks like everyone is in their groups I will give you the rest of class to start working in your routines," The teacher said and then walked to the back where her office was.

"So what should we do for the project?" Sehun asked looking at you and Kai.

"Molla... Besides how are we suppose  to come up with something if I've never seen the two of you dance... For all I know you could be the worst dancers in the class."

They chuckled and Kai walked to the stereo, he put on Because of You by Neyo. You watched carefully as the two stood in front of you. As if on cue they started dancing in sync. The two moved swiftly as one. You smiled as you watched them, you could tell that try were probably the best in the class seeing as how the other watched them in amazement. You couldn't ask for better partners for your first assignment at this school. You grinned at them and clapped when they finished.

"So are we the worst in the class?" Kai asked between breaths.

You chuckled, "You guys aren't too bad."

They chuckled and sat down, you joined them on the ground.

"So shall we practice tomorrow after school?"

"Sounds like a plan."

D.O sat in music class, he was always the first one there because he just had study hall the class before. He tapped his fingers on the desk aimlessly as he waited. This was the one class he was free from all the fangirls because it was an advanced class that you had to get a recommendation for in order to take it. He pulled out his notebook and opened it to the song he had been working on for the past few weeks. He tried to finish it but he just couldn't, he wasn't even sure what this song was suppose to be about. He sang the first line softly, being as he was the only one in the room, but no matter how much he sang it he didn't know how to continue it.

"Jogueman nalgaetjit neol hyangnhan ikkeullium naege ttaraora sonjitan geot gatasseo~"

"Ugh!" D.O groaned, folding his arms and laying his head down on the desk in frustration. As he sat there you popped into his mind. He remembered that morning when he first saw you in the hallway. When his eyes met yours he felt his heart skip a beat, everything around him just seemed to disappear. Then when you walked into his English class and your eyes met for a second time he couldn't pull his eyes away from you, there was something about you that mad him want to be around you. He tried to think why he felt that way around you even though he's only seen you twice and never talked to you. He let out a sigh and shook the thoughts away. Instead, he sat up, leaned back in his chair. Closing his eye he began to sing One by SHINee.

You walked out of dance early to change back into your regular clothes. That was the best class you've had so far on your first day of school. After you finished changing and started walking back to class a soft sound caught your attention but you shrugged it off because you heard a line from a song you didn't know. Your class got released early, you were so thankful for that because you need time to find your last class of the day. That's when you heard someone singing again. The only difference was that this time you knew the song and decided to find out the person behind such a beautiful voice. You quietly walked down the hallway, you followed the sound to the music room.

'Hm... I think this is my next class,' you thought then looked at your class schedule, 'yup this is it!' you nodded to yourself.

You peeked into the room and saw a boy standing towards the front of the room. You couldn't tell who he was because his back was to you but he had a very nice singing voice. You smiled and listened to him sing your favorite song from SHINee. When he finished the dig you couldn't help but clap. This caught D.O by surprise. He whipped his head around and his eyes widened when he saw you standing there.

You but your bottom lip nervously, "Mianhae...  Didn't mean to scare you but... You were singing my favorite song and you sounded really good," you rambled.

He just blinked in shock, speechless that you actually were in front of him.

"I-is this the right class? I'm suppose to be in music right now..."

He nodded still a bit in shock that you were in another class with him. You smiled sweetly at him, then looked at the clock at the front of the class.

You looked away awkwardly then looked pass him at the clock, ' I'm a bit early...' you thought as you walked to a desk in the corner by the window. D.O watched as you sat down in your seat. He quickly sat back down a bit flustered, he didn't even know why because he has sang in front of many people before, but when you showed up he started to get super nervous. He sat in his seat quietly as many thoughts raced through his mind trying to figure out why he was never himself when he head your name or when he saw you. His thoughts were instantly silenced when a sweet voice drifted throughout the room. He turned towards the direction it came from and saw you doodling in a notebook with your headphones on, which brought a soft smile to his face.

As you were sitting there doodling you realized you were actually singing out loud. You quickly turned towards the window to hide of embarrassment especially when you knew that boy had a great voice.

'She has a nice voice...' D.O smiles as he watched you.

His eyes roamed over your features, from your straight light brown hair to your nice full lips. He stared at you as you looked out the window at the clouds that moved pass. He finally pulled his eyes away from you as students started filing into class an took their seats. He opened his notebook a s starts to doodle to distract himself from looking at you again. But as class started it was a repeat of English. He couldn't help but glance at you repeatedly throughout the whole class time.

After the teacher finished explaining the assignment, which was to pick a song an make your own rendition of it, the rest if the class you had free time to pick your sit and start practicing. You looked through your phone for a song you could use for your assignment. Meanwhile, D.O was doing the same thing but his mind  was focused somewhere else. He glanced at you and saw guy writing things down in your notebook. He quickly looked away when you looked up from your book to look around the classroom. He blinked staring blankly at his phone, his heart racing.

He glanced back up and saw you with your headphones on looking out the window, like you were before. He was again mesmerized by you. He was brought out of his daze when the bell rang signaling that school was over. He put his stuff away and stood to walk out of the class, before he walked out he took one last look at you. He watched as you walked out of the room.

You navigated your way through the sea of students to get out of the school. But little did you know that D.O was following you. There was something about you, he couldn't quite point out what it was, but it made him want to know you more, want to be there for you, and want to protect you. He followed behind you quietly watching your every movement. It seemed as though you were sad because your pace started to slow as you exited the school gates. He tilted his head in confusion, because it seemed like you were a cheery person.

"D.O!"

His eyes widened hearing his friends call him, he quickly faced them hoping you didn't hear. Kai, Chen, and Baekhyun walked up to him.

"Where are you going?" Kai asked looking at D.O in the eyes and tilted his head glancing in the direction he was walking in.

"U-uh I was walking home."

"But we always catch the bus... Plus isn't your house that way?" Kai said point in the opposite direction, "and why did you want to walk all of a sudden?"

D.O cleared his throat glancing back to see if you were still there, but you weren't.

"I just felt like changing things up for once."

Kai, Chen, and Baekhyun looked at him with slightly narrowed eyes. It wasn't normal for D.O to want to walk home, he always insisted on riding the bus because he hated walking in the afternoon because it was always hot. They even suggested walking every so often but he always refused.

"Come on I'll buy dukbokki," D.O said to avoid their quizzical looks. They grinned with excitement and hurried along to find a food cart.

You slowly walked to your apartment building. Once you got there you just stood outside looking at the building. After taking a deep breath you walked in and took the elevator up to the 4th floor. You punched in the passcode and walked inside the apartment. You looked around the dark room.

'Hello empty apartment,' you sighed putting your bag down in the living room then walked to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of water to drink. You paused looking at a picture of you and an older woman.

"I miss you... Umma."
