            The night was colder than any other before. Actually, as the light of the moon was growing over the island it seemed the cold was growing with it, icing every tiny amount of air making it more difficult to breathe.

The moon was full now and the cold was almost unbearable.

The wolves didn’t seem to notice – or maybe didn’t want to notice – but Soonkyu thought it almost unbearable. In moments like this she thanked the red hood Soo Man had given her holding it tighter around her body.

As she kept hiding behind trees and big bushes Soonkyu couldn’t help but wonder about that week – just like Soo Man said time there was spent much quicker than back in her world.

She questioned if that was why Peter Pan was immortal? Maybe his body couldn’t accompany time as it passed and so he stayed young forever.

Soonkyu laughed quietly as she moves to another tree – she thought she’d heard something. As she kept fleeing soundlessly she couldn’t keep her mind off the moon’s light and its meaning – Wol Kwang was definitely back until it was New Moon again and in result few were the nights she and Suho spent together.

The goddess demanded him to stay with her overnight in her mansion until morning came – the period when she would sleep.

            Soonkyu tried to comprehend – in fact, she did – but it still bothered her that Wol Kwang was alone with the man she loved doing whatever it pleased her.

The EXO boys and the girls would only assure her that Suho would do his best at avoiding any inappropriate proximity with the goddess – he had been doing that for many centuries and she never got the other thing she really wanted aside from his heart.

No, that didn’t make her less worried.

Hiding her existing from the goddess wasn’t that difficult since everyone in the village agreed on keeping secret from Wol Kwang. By day it wasn’t even a challenge but by night they had to be careful with every breath even. Well, not Soonkyu who had the magical overcoat, the red hood that kept her completely anonymous. Even her smell couldn’t be sensed when she wore it – not joking.

That was the reason why they agreed on playing hide and seek with her – it was a truly great challenge to try and find someone you can’t hear, smell or sense.

The wolves were very much excited.

            Soonkyu kept moving soundless through the Forbidden Forest ending up – for her great surprise – on the river’s border, the place Suho had taken her the night when they first kissed.

Not allowed to look up – directly to the moon – she admired its beauty by looking at the reflection in the river.

As she admired it absently this gush of air took her hoodie off for a few seconds before she pulled it back on sighing from the fright she had just get.

            She was sitting on the border still admiring the moon’s hypnotic beauty when a girl extremely petite, elegant and… beautiful appeared, her eyes doe and full pinkish lips. Her hair fell down her back, curling a little bit at the edge. She smiled at Soonkyu when the later suddenly got frightened by a brownie rabbit that had jumped off the woods.

The girl didn’t seem to think much when she extended her arm, her palm facing the rabbit with a sudden white light coming out, hitting the bunny who died in that same instant.

            Soonkyu watched the girl as her eyes widened too much as if she did something wrong.

“So… you’re a wolf too?” Soonkyu timidly asked ready to run if she said she wasn’t.

“Yeah…” Well, there was something wrong there – wolves don’t get scare of bunnies so why kill it?

As the silence grew awkward the girl sat beside Soonkyu smiling shyly.

“I see they forgot to tell you I was playing too.”

“I guess…” Soonkyu answered unsure. She still felt something was off about this new presence but not wanting to jump to conclusion Soonkyu just kept herself there, looking for signals that told her to run other than her conscious.

“That Chanyeol, seriously...” Soonkyu laughed at this – if Chanyeol had anything to do with that than it was more than certain that he had forgotten to tell anyone.

            “Well…” Soonkyu stretched her arms up and then let them down sighing. She was actually very tired. “Since you found me let’s go back, I lost.”

            “Oh, come on, I’m a girl! I’m on your side, I won’t tell – promise!” they laughed at it and kept talking for a very long while since the girl was very curious about Soonkyu’s world.

Soonkyu also found out her name was Bae Suzy and she had lived in Neverland for so long it looked like millenniums.

            “What about your relation with Suho Oppa? Is it that serious…?” Soonkyu couldn’t help but to smile at her question – a wide and blissful smile.

            “That? I don’t know myself that well but I guess we’re meant to be somehow… Mulla.” Her cheeks were a bit warmer but she dismissed it or it would only turn worse.

            “But do you love him?” There was this tension in Suzy’s voice that made Soonkyu look up, suspicious for a second. Suzy’s face was emotionless as she awaited her answer.

            “It’s stupid, I know it only passed a week but yes. I guess I’ve loved him since ever.”

            “It must be hard, he is a wolf. You have to put some effort into your relation…” Soonkyu cut her off by now.

            “Aniya.”

            “What do you mean?” Soonkyu got up smiling at her new friend. Suzy did seem confused and somewhat overwhelmed by her revelations.

            “One can protect love with effort but none can make love with effort.” Suzy sat there still dazzled at her words and Soonkyu smiled. “Come on, let’s go.” She gave her hand helping her up.

            They walked in silence all the way, Suzy
