Mir’s POV

Today, a ‘date wannabe’ with Joon. I was so excited, what should I wear… T-shirt, black jeans, sneakers… OKAY that’s it! We’ll meet in the mall, I ate some food and went out. “Umma! I’m leaving!” I said. “YA! Where are you going, Cheolyongie??” she asked. “Just hanging out, Umma! Bye!” I said and left. There’s a black sport car parking in front of my house. Who’s that? Someone got out from the car, it was Joon. He came closer to me “Teacher, you said that we’ll meet in the mall” I said. “Ah… I just wanna come here” he said. “Ah…” I looked at him from head to toe. He wears t-shirt, jeans and sneakers too, he looked so much younger. And he’s handsome… “Let’s just go!” he dragged me inside the car.

When we entered the mall, he asked me “Mir, what do you want to do first?” “Um… can we… watch movies first??” I said. “Okay!” he linked his arm with mine. “Teacher-nim…” I said. “Don’t say teacher-nim in public, they may be thinking that I’m a ing e. Call me hyung and they won’t be suspicious” he said. “Okay, hyung…” it’s a bit awkward. We went into the cinema and bought popcorns, he paid for all of it. “Hyung, you don’t need to pay all” I said. “I’m older, I’ll pay” he said. After watching movie, we went to the photobooth. We took some pictures and I looked at it. Whoa… we looked like a brother. “Ah… Mireu, you’re so cute” he pinched my cheek and showed me a picture when I did a cute pose. “Teacher you’re really handsome” I said when I saw Joon in the picture. Ah… stupid! Why did I say that carelessly? “Huh?” he was confused. “Ah… nothing” I said. “Let’s put the pictures inside our wallet” he said. “Okay!!” I agreed. “Nah… if it’s like this, when I open my wallet, there will be you….” he giggled.

“Mir-ya!!!” I heard someone shouted my name. Ah… it was Taemin. “Taemin-ah! Hi!” I waved my hand. He came closer and saw Joon. “Who is he?” Taemin asked. “He is….” I tried to introduce Joon but Joon cut my words “I’m Lee Joon, Mir’s private teacher”. “He’s your teacher? Wow… he’s so young” Taemin didn’t believe. Joon just smiled at Taemin’s compliment. “Ya… Mir-ya, now I know why he’s not that bad” he winked. Argh… Taemin, don’t say anything weird. “You’re hanging out with you private teacher?” he asked. “Um…” I blushed. Taemin why did you ask that…. “He asked for it” Joon made it worse. “Mir, you asked him first?” Taemin didn’t believe it. He knew that I wasn’t a person who initiate something first. I never asked girls to date, they’re the one who asked. “Mir, come here for a second” Taemin dragged me away.

“Why??” I asked. “Are you dating with him?” he asked. “Hell no! He’s my teacher!” I said. “It’s a pity then…” he said. “Huh what?” I asked. “You shouldn’t waste a chance like that. Where can you find a hot teacher like that?” he teased. “He’s 25, Taemin-ah…” I said. “Huh? I thought he’s only 20” he didn’t believe. “He’s actually older, but he looks young” I said. “He has young face too, he’s smart, handsome. Why don’t you date him?” he said. “He’s my teacher and…” I tried to say something but he cut it “I know you’re in love, Mir….” he winked. Damn that Taemin, why he can read my minds. Joon suddenly came to me.

Joon’s POV

What’s this Taemin doing to Mir? And why I should care about it? He’s Mir’s friend, no problem. But… they looked so close, I’m…. jealous? Am I jealous? When Taemin whispered something to Mir, I can’t handle ‘this’ feeling inside. ‘This’ thing may be jealousy? I came into them, kinda ruin the moment there. I don’t care, I just want Mir back. I’m such a selfish. “Mir, you need to go home, it’s night already” Taemin said to Mir. Taemin is a good friend, why I have to be jealous…

“I can go home by myself” he said. “Are you kidding? Do you think that I’ll leave you alone in night? There may be many bad guys living out there, I can’t leave you…” I said. “Thanks, hyung… sorry if I troubled you so much” he said. “You’re special to me” I said. “Special?” he asked. “Nothing, you’re just not like my ordinary students” I said and we got into my car.

Mir’s POV

Joon parked the car outside and waited. I came inside my house, it’s like as if no one lives here. Where’s umma? “Umma!!” I shouted but nobody answered. I dialed her phone “Umma!!” “Ah… Cheolyong-ah…” “Umma where are you?” “Sorry that I forgot to tell you, I won’t be home for 3 days” “WHAT? SO AM I ALONE IN HOUSE?” “Yes sorry… you’re brave enough, right?” “No!” “Be brave, umma will be back in 3 days, okay? Take care...” she hung up. God… I’m not brave enough to live alone. An idea come to my mind even it is a little bit foolish…. I went out and Joon’s still there. “Why?” he asked. “Joon-hyung… Are you busy tomorrow?” I asked you. “No, why?” he asked. “Umma won’t be home for 3 days… so…. can you stay here for a few days??” I was so nervous to ask that. “Stay here? Is it okay?” he asked. “It’s okay! I begged you, I can’t live alone” I said. “Okay, Mir” he said. YEAY!! Joon’s gonna stay here, why am I so excited? Do I have romantic feeling about him like Taemin said? I think… yes. I’m in love…

“Where will I sleep?” he asked. “My… room… I’m afraid when I’m alone” I said shyly. “AH… such a baby” he ruffled my hair gently. “Good night, Mir” he said to me. I’m already hugging my pillow. I slept quickly. But then I woke up because of nightmare. I screamed pretty loud, Joon woke up and asked me why. “I had a nightmare” I was still shocked. “Then…. Let me hug you, you won’t have a nightmare anymore” he hugged me from the back. I felt warm and comfortable. I experienced this for the first time.

Now I know, Love is warm….
