Fated to love you
Sooyoung's POV
"Sorry it took a while miss, I hope you didn't wait that long.." I heard someone said.
I looked up, My eyes widen. "I-it's him... The guy from the subway. it's really h-him.." I thought.
Waking up from my thoughts, I shook my head then smiled at him as normal as I could.
"I-it's fine..." I managed to answer as calmly as I can. I smiled at him, He then put my orders on the table,
"Is that all?" He asked, I nodded, "Thank you.."
I said and starts to sip my drink,
I looked slowly on my side, and to my surprise, he was still standing there.
I put down my drink and look at him, "Is there any problem, sir?"
I asked, he shook his head, smiling, "You know, I think I've seen you somewhere. I think... we've already met.."
He said, walking nearer, taking a sit at the chair infront of me.
I looked up at him, a bit surprised at what he said.
"Ah..r-really? If so, where did we meet?" I asked, "At the subway a while ago, remember? you accidentally bumped me.. Don't you remember?"
He asked, slighty smirking, "Gaaah.. stop that please!? you're making me feel nervous right now!!" I thought, I nodded,
"Oh. yes. I remember now.. You're the cold person that I bumped to a while ago!"
I somehow shouted, pointing at him, I quickly cupped my mouth then looked down, "oops.." I whispered,
feeling really embbarassed right now. He chuckled then nodded.
"Yeah, about that, I'm sorry if I gave you a cold shoulder.. It's just, there a lot going in my mind lately, that's why, I was not my self a while ago.. I'm sorry if I didn't help you pick your things up"
He said sincerly, I smiled at him. "It's fine. I don't mind, You must be going through a lot. I hope you'll get over it soon."
I put over my hand on his, which was on top of the table and squeezed it gently, smiling at him, He smiled back then nods, "Thank you.."
I realized what I was doing so I quickly removed my hands from his then drink my milktea hoping I would calm again,
"His hands are warm, very calming" I smiled at the thought then giggled softly,
I heard a cough, I looked up infront, "I almost forgot someone was with me"
I bit my lip as I put my drink down on the table,
"Oh, by the way, I haven't gotten your name, You don't mind if I ask for it, don't you?" He said, using that angelic smile that seriously made my knees weak, "My name is Sooyoung, Choi Sooyoung" I answered, smiling sweetly at him, " and you?"
"Luhan.. Xi Luhan" He answered. He reached out his hand, asking for a hand shake, I gladly accepted it.
"It's nice meeting you" I said, "You too, I hope we could be friends, from now on, is that alright, Sooyoung?" I nodded. "of course."
I looked at my watch, checking the time, I gasped, I only have 10 minutes left till the next class,
I looked at Luhan, "I'm sorry, but I got to go now, I still have class in ten minutes"
I took my wallet from my bag and was about to take some bills, but Luhan stopped me, I look at him,
"You don't have to, it's on me, I own this cafe."
He smiled and winked at me, I was literally staring at him for the past five seconds,
I studied his face, His eyes, lips, hair, it's just perfect.
How could a person like him look so perfect, It took me a while to regain my senses,
I shook my head then manage to make a nod at him "a-alright then. Thank you, L-Luhan"
gosh, why did I stutter?, I mentally smacked myself, then stood up from my seat,
I smiled at him and took my bag, preparing to go when I felt him slip something in my hand,
I looked at my hand and saw a calling card, I looked at him, He winked at me,
"Just call me when you need someone to talk to or when you're just plainly bored~"
he smirked then went back to the counter, I just stared at him, slowly making my way out of the cafe, I looked at the calling card again then smiled softly,
"Xi Luhan.. what a cute name.." I giggled at the thought and started walking back to the University.
Luhan's POV
I looked through the glass wall, watching her walking her way back to the University,
I smiled then went back inside the staff area, I saw Tao smiling at me,
I raised an eyebrow at him, "Why are are you smiling?" "I could see someone's crushing on someone~" He sang teasingly,
I shook my head then went to my office, He followed me inside,
"It's good to see your usual self again" He said, I looked at him,
"It's been a while since you last smiled like that ever since you and Yura broke up. I could see that you're moving on already, am I right?".
I sighed.
I actually don't know if I already moved on.
I mean, yeah, whenever I think about her, It still hurts me somehow but,
After spending time with Sooyoung a while ago, I somehow forgot the fact that I was hurt, that the person I loved so dearly left me for who knows what reason.
I looked at Tao then smiled at him,
"I guess you are right. I think I'm moving on, and I think she's the reason behind it..",
I looked through the window from my office, thinking about Sooyoung.
"maybe, just maybe, you could help me move on completely. Maybe someday, I won't ever think about Yura anymore, Maybe one day, I won't be affected by her anymore. Sooyoung, I really want to know you more."
I thought as I sat on my chair and start working on the piled papers on my desk.
