Kyungsoo woke up with headache. Maybe it was all because he cried too much last night. He tried to stand up slowly, but before he could stand on his feet, he fell to the floor and accidentally nudged the drawer beside the bed and dropped the lamp. It made loud of noise. He himself covered his ears from the bang. He closed his eyes while still covering his ears until Lay and Luhan came into his room. They were still sleeping, but because of the noise from Kyungsoo’s room, they quickly ran to the room. They were worried. After seeing Kyungsoo who closed his eyes and ears, Lay went to him and hugged him tightly.

“Kyungsoo, it’s okay to open your eyes and ears. Nothing to be scared for.” He whispered to the younger boy. Kyungsoo hesitantly pulled his hands of and stared at the broken lamp. And then he met Lay eyes.

“I’m just like that lamp, hyung.” He said it innocently. Lay felt so sad because Kyungsoo said that. He wanted to say that he wasn’t like that lamp at all, but Luhan interrupted them. Luhan told them to get to the dining room for some breakfast. Lay nodded and left the room with Kyungsoo while Luhan would be the one who cleaned up the mess.

On their way to the dining room, Kyungsoo was spacing out. Lay knew that Kyungsoo must have been thinking about his broken life that he though just like the broken lamp. Lay, being the psychiatrist, tried to do his job now. He couldn’t let Kyungsoo fell too deep into his feeling.

“Kyungsoo.” Kyungsoo still spaced out. Lay shook him slowly.

“Ah, I’m sorry, hyung.” He seemed feel so guilty to Lay.

“You did nothing wrong. I just want you to know that you are nothing like the lamp.” Kyungsoo tilted his head cutely. Lay only chuckled.

“I mean, you may have broken life, or so you think, but it could be repaired. So does the lamp. Both of you and the lamp will have the remains scars. With that scars, the lamp might not have the same life, the same function as the new one. As you said, it was already broken. But you. You can have the life you want. You will be repaired and after that you will life the way you want too. You will be the same with us and the scars you have, someday it will be faded away and left with no trace at all. Now, I need you to help me to repair you. I can’t do this all alone by myself. I need you beside me, okay?” Lay could see the glint of hope in Kyungsoo’s eyes. Kyungsoo quickly nodded and th
