Jongin POV

I was searching for Krystal when I saw Kyungsoo sat on the bench. He was spacing out and Kris called him over and over but he didn’t respond it at all.  I was afraid if Kris bullied Kyungsoo again. I just approached Kyungsoo instead Krystal.

“Kris! Back off!” I pushed him off Kyungsoo. He glared me. I looked Kyungsoo, but he didn’t even aware of my presence. ‘Something is wrong with Kyungsoo.’

“What do you want, Jongin?” he asked me.

“I should be one who ask that, Kris. What do you want? Why you approach Kyungsoo again?” I said coldly. He only smirked.

“I want to do what I want to do, Jongin. Whatever I want to. Don’t you think Kyungsoo is perfect as a doll?” I was furious at what he said.

“A doll!? What do you really want from him, Kris! Just let him go! You don’t even know what damage have you caused to him!” I was in position to punch him.

“Eitz. Don’t you ever think to do anything stupid, Jongin. You maybe have the highest position in this school, but you wouldn’t risk anything that make you pretty face bruised just like Kyungsoo, right?” his smile full of victory. I knew he was right. He was expert at material arts. I was a piece of cake if you compared it. I pulled my wrist back. At least he hasn’t done anything to Kyungsoo.

“Just stay away from Kyungsoo, Kris! I warned you!” I warned him.

“You have no right to warn me. I will not stay away from him!” he narrowed his eyes the he just walked away. I turned my head at Kyungsoo and started calling him.

“…soo! KYUNGOO! Really! What get into you!? You just stared the ground.” I shook his shoulder slowly. He looked at me blankly. ‘Oh My God, Kyungsoo. What happened?’

But then I heard Krystal’s voice.

“Oh! Jongin! What are you doing here?” I could see Krystal’s smile. I turned my head to look Krystal then gave her a really big smile.

“Ah…Ummm… I just happen to pass by, I was… I was searching for… Kyungsoo. Yeah, Kyungsoo.” I said it nervously. Of course I wouldn’t tell her that I was searching for her, right?

“Oh. You mean the boy who was just walking back to the school building?”

“W-What!?” I looked where Kyungsoo was. Krystal was right; he went back to the building.

“I guess I must catch up with him. We will meet at the school gate after school’s done, right?” she nodded.

“See you later, Jongin!” she waved at me. I just gave her a smile.

I tried to catch up with Kyungsoo, but unlucky me, he was nowhere to be found.
