The day had come.It was time to choose if I was staying or if I was leaving,forever.

I was waiting for my turn to come.Everyone was there to cheer for me and give me strength.

Minho,my team,my class,my teachers,everyone I knew and everyone I needed.

My team ran to me."You can do this Yoonseo,I believe in you!" Jinkyung said,holding my hands.

"You're the best in our team,you can easily beat those noobs!" Seohyun added smiling and the boys smiled.

"We believe in you." Taemin said in a sweet and warm tone and Jonghyun nodded agreeing.

"Yoonseo.." Minho sat next to me.He was breathing heavily and his eyes were red,as if he was crying.

"You can do this.And even if you lose,I promise you I won't let you go." He said caressing my cheek.

"Don't make big promises,Minho.." I lowered his hand.He had frozen in his position.

"I promised I would never let you go but here I am...I'm leaving." I explained,trying to hold my tears.

"No,nothing happened yet!There is still time--" I cut his speech."Time's up,Minho.I'm sorry." I stood up.

"Next five contestants.." I took a deep breath."It's time.." I mumbled anxiously.

I was about to leave but Minho grabbed my arm and pulled me in his arms."Yoonseo,if anything happens,let's leave together." He whispered crying silently.

"Minho,it's not that easy..I wish I could spend the rest of my life with you but...it's not that easy.." I said.

I pulled myself from his arms and got out with my coach."Why is she so cruel..." He whispered to himself.

"She just tries to keep the distance so that the pain she'll cause you won't be so unbearable.." Coach said.

She tapped Minho's shoulder with her hand,trying to cheer him up."She wants to protect you.." she added.

Minho sat on the bench,since he couldn't feel his legs.He placed his head in his hands,crying.

"I can't just let her go!" He almost shouted.The rest of the team was trying to make him feel better.

It was pointless,though.None of us could feel better at this moment.My last moments there.

All of the five contestants were ready,on their footboards.I was taking some deep breaths,to comfort myself.

"Don't be anxious,Yoonseo.You've done this before.Just remember...you are here for a reason!"

Coach was right.I was there for a reason and I didn't intend to lose,not to even be 2nd.

The race was about to begin,when suddenly a flashback happened in my head.

"Oh,so you're Yoonseo!Our new team member!"

"Don't mind coach,she just wants our team to be perfect!Here,I'll help you~"

"Yoonseo-ah...Let's never seperate,araso?"

"When we grow up,let's get married!Then nobody can tear us apart!"

"Love?What is this?Can I eat it?"

"Yoonie,I think I understand what love is now.."

No!I couldn't lose!I couldn't leave those people behind!I couldn't leave the only one I ever loved!

I had to win,and I would win..."DIVE!" We all dived into the water and began swimming.

I was swimming much slower than the others did,though.I knew what I was doing.

Everyone was looking at me with their eyes goggled,thinking 'what was I doing'?

All,exept my coach.She could see through me,she believed in me and trusted me like nobody else.

The others had already reached the other side of the pool and their energy was drowned.

When I reached the other side of the pool,I made a backflip and touched the wall with my feet.

'Now!' I shouted inside my head and pushed myself away from the wall,swimming like never before.

I was swimming mermaid-style,something Minho had taught me how to do,passing all of the rest.

I had reached the finish line in no time,while the rest were miles away from me.

I got out of the water and everyone had rushed to me they were hugging me and congratulating me.

Then,Minho ran towards me,grabbed me and began spinning me in the air,smiling.

"I knew it!I always believed in you Yoonseo!" He was shouting happily.He was too happy.

He was hugging me so tightly that I thought I was about to explode,but i didn't mind.

I always loved it when he was hugging me like that,I always felt so safe and warm inside his arms.

A few minutes later,I went to change and Minho was waiting for me out of the women lockers.

When I got out he rushed towards me smiling.He wrapped his right arm around my shoulders.

"So what do you say,should we go out to celebrate it?" He suggested."Why not!" I accepted.

We went to Lotte World to have a drink together.We were having so much fun together.

I was sure that mum would let me stay here forever since I had won at my competition.

A few hours later,Minho sent me home.I was about to unlock the door when Minho grabbed my arm.

He pulled me in his arms again,like he did before my competition.He was squeezing me.

"I'm glad you're staying." He mumbled.I smiled and rubbed myself on his lap."Me too"

He kissed the top of my head and then left.I unlocked the door and went in the living room.

I saw my mum waiting for me.I ran towards her with my gold medal around my neck.

"Mum,look!I won!" I almost shouted.She didn't seem really happy though.

"Yoonseo." She touched my shoulder."You're leaving in five hours."
