Jinhee's POV

"I'm not hungry, umma!" I shouted from my room.

"Are you sure? You've not eaten ever since you've return." Umma said worriedly.

"I'm sure!" I lied with my stomach growling.

I didn't want umma to get worried about me getting injured. So, I locked myself in my room. Appa knows though.

"You've been in your room for quite some time. I'm getting worried, Jinhee." Umma said caringly.

"I'm fine, umma! I'm replying to you here." I said.

"Then why can't you open the door for umma?" Umma said.

"Uh.. Umma, I-I'm sleepy. I wanted to sleep!" I blurted out.

"Sleep? It's only 8." Umma said.

"It was a long journey from Seoul to here. Ahahaha.." I laughed awkwardly.

"Arraseo. I'll keep the food for you. Heat it up when you're hungry later." Umma said.

"Good night, umma!"

SAFE.

Then, I heard knocks on my door.

Okay, I'm not safe yet.

"Umma, I'm gonna sleep!" I said.

"It's me."

"L-Luhan?" I asked.

"Yeah. Open the door." Luhan said.

I limped all the way to the door and opened it. Luhan was standing right in front of me, holding my dinner.

"Your umma is in the living room. You would have to eat it in your room." Luhan said.

"Gomawo." I tried taking the plate from him but he held it up high.

"Yah." I pouted.

"You pabo. You should get in your room first." Luhan said as he pushed me gently in my room.

I dragged my leg all the way to the table. I ate my dinner quickly as I was starving. 

"Slow down. No one's gonna snatch your food." Luhan said.

"I was hungry." I mumbled.

"Well, apparently some pabo decided to injure her ankle and not show her umma. So, in order to avoid her umma, she locks herse--"

"Yes. I know I'm a pabo. I just didn't want umma to worry. She worry over little things." I covered Luhan's mouth with my hand.

Luhan removed my hand and took my empty plate.

"I'll wash it. You. STAY. I'll be back." Luhan said sternly.

"What am I? Your dog?" I argued.

"STAY." Luhan repeated.

"What if I don't?" I asked, being cheeky.

"I'll make sure those lips of yours would be on mine for the whole night then." Luhan warned me.

I covered my mouth with my hands immediately, nodding my head.

"Good girl." Luhan said as he left.

"BRAT." I stucked out my tongue after he left.

"Jinhee?"

"Who's that?" I asked.

"It's Kris."

"Kris oppa. Open the door. It's not locked, I think. That brat didn't lock it." I said.

Kris opened the door easily and came in.

"So, how's your ankle?" Kris asked.

"It's fine." I answered.

"KRIS, WHERE ARE YOU?" I heard umma calling for Kris.

I smiled at Kris and nodded at him, indicating that it's fine for him to leave.

"I'll be back later. Since I'm sleeping in this room anyway." Kris winked.

"Just get out already, flirt." I said as I pushed him away.

"Just for you." Kris winked for the last time and left.
