;Daehyun’s POV
"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in your dorm at this moment?" I asked as I slid myself inside. Nara hurriedly stood from slumping on the ground. "No one should be practicing at this time of the day. That's a company policy. Don't you know that one?" I saw beads of sweat on her forehead the moment I got close to her. How long have she been practicing?
Nara fidgeted her fingers together. "I-I know," she stammered. "I just wanted to practice more. I feel like the twelve hours of practice isn't enough for me." Her voice slightly quivered at that.
A frown appeared on my face as I looked at her. She's working hard for the debut, that's for sure. But why? "You should go home." I told her. "If someone will find you here still practicing, you are doom. Learn to abide the company policy." She nodded her head. I turned back and went out closing the door behind me.
I should leave her, I know, but I couldn't just understand my feet why it still glued on the floor. My eyes went back to the closed door. "Daehyun-ah! I-I thought...." Her voice trailed off. I didn't utter a word. Instead, I moved my feet and ventured out of the building. I can feel her following behind me. And it somewhat irritated me. I know she's been eyeing me even I'm on my back on her. It just doesn't feel great.
The cold evening air greeted my skin that had me almost shivered. I looked at her over my shoulder. "I'm gonna ride a taxi, wanna join with me?" I found myself slightly surprised at my invitation to her. But that was just purely because I felt guilty, slightly guitly, the last time I let her go home by herself.
"I-Is that okay?" She muttered softly but still the words reached my ear. "I mean..."
"Do you want? Or you'd prefer to ride on your own?" I asked, partially-irritated that after I asked her she'd kind of refused the idea. Apparently, the normal me had risen out of nowhere shoving out the weird part of me. I decided to turn my back and not gonna insist her to go with me.
"Daehyun-ah!" She called but I didn't stop nor look at her. All of a
