By the time we reached Yifan’s house, it was really dark.
He stopped the car in front of the gates and said,
“Get out”
So I got out, along with my dozens of bags.
“Don’t wait for me; I have some work to do. See you tomorrow” he said

Work at this time of the night? Strange.

“Okay then. Bye” I said, walking towards the house.

I heard the sound of the engine starting.
I reached the front door and tried opening it.
My heart stopped.

Oh my god! It’s locked!!

I dropped my bags and ran back to the gate,
it was already pitch dark and I could barely see the red glint of his car’s headlights, going farther down the street.

“NOOO!! WAIT!!” I yelled and ran behind the now almost gone, car
I kept running down the roads like a mad man but he was gone.

Oh no! What do I do now?

I had no idea where I was, there were barely any street lights, I didn’t have my phone.
And the worst thing was this ‘Seoul nightlife-whatever it was’
I so did not want to get caught by them.

Just great, Taeyeon! Just great!

After much thought, I decided to keep on walking straight.
Wherever Yifan was going, it couldn’t be too far right?
So I kept on walking.

After about 10 minutes of walking in one direction, I saw a building.
Or something like that.
It was big, well lit with neon graffiti popping out of the walls.
I walked a bit more closer.
I could hear music now, not so loud, but still present.
Then I saw cars. So many cars.
they were all lined up in front of the building, waiting to be parked I guess.

It’s a nightclub

I walked even more closer, almost near the nightclub
My breath stopped.
Yifan was near the entrance, talking to the over-muscled security guy.
I had the sudden urge to scream his name out loud, but when my mouth opened nothing came out.
Why?
Cause I just noticed the signboard on top of the building.

When I looked back at the entrance, Yifan was gone.

Oh !

I ran to the entrance, pushing through the crowds.
I caught a glimpse of the place before a strong pair of hands pulled me from going inside.
it was the over-muscled security guy.
“Where do you think you’re going little girl?”

None of your business, over-muscled guy

“my…friend just walked inside and I really need to speak to him, please let me go?”
“Do you have an ID card?”
“No...but I really need to meet that person who just went inside!!”
“That’s what every girl says” he started pull me away from the entrance
“No no, please! YIFAN!! YIFAN!!” I screamed, knowing it was useless because he won’t be able hear me.
The security guy’s grip loosened, he stared at me in disbelief.
“You’re with him?” he asked
“YES for god’s sake! Let me see him just for a moment?” I pleaded.
Another security guy, who had been hearing our conversation came over.
“Let her go, Axel, if she’s really his girlfriend or something, we’ll be fired” the other guy said.
“Okay. I’ll give you 15 minutes, lit-”
“Taeyeon. Call me Taeyeon”
“Fine. I’ll give you 15 minutes , Taeyeon, to go in and do whatever you want to, but if you don’t come out within that time, I’ll come in and get you”
“15 minutes? More than enough”
“Go”

He let go of me and I ran into the place.
it was a typical nightclub from the inside.
Neon lights flashing, people dancing, the smell of cigarettes and alcohol made me feel really uneasy.
But I didn’t have time to think about that, I had to find Yifan and I had to find him fast.

There’s no way I’m going to find him in this crowd

i was like a lost puppy, trying to make my way through the people.
suddenly, I noticed a door at the far end of the place.
I went there and read the sign over it.

Could he be there?

I looked around to see if anyone was looking at me but everybody was interested in their own business.
I quietly slipped through the doors.
If Yifan was there, then I was safe and if he wasn’t…I really don’t know what’s going to happen.
there was a dim-lit corridor in front of me, with many doors on either side of it.
I walked, looking at each door. There was a nameplate on every door.
This suggested that the rooms belonged to the person whose name was on the door.
One by one I read the nameplates.

Seohyun, Sehun , Yoona, Kai, Sooyoung, Tao, Yuri, D.O, Hyoyeon, Chanyeol, Tiffany, Chen, Sunny, Baekhyun, Jessica, Lay, Suho, Luhan, Xiumin, Hyobin and Kris

The last door was a bit different than the others, it was white and had a gold nameplate.
The others were black and had a silver nameplate.

So this Kris must be the leader…oh well I better go before someone catches me.

I turned around and began to walk away when,

“Here you!! This is private area!!” a sharp voice ringed in my ears.

I stopped walking and turned around. It was a girl.
She was standing in front of the door that read ‘Hyobin’
So I assumed that she was Hyobin.

“I just came to look for someone…I’m going now, sorry for the inconvenience” I turned back and continued walking

“Yah! Stop walking I said!!” she yelled after me again.

Oh god if she continues screaming like that I’ll get caught
Ahh what do I do?

“Are you even a member?” she asked me

“uh..i…”

“I knew it! You’re not even a member then how dare you enter this place?!” she spat “I’m going to take you to Kris right now”

I felt her hand grab my arm.

I didn’t have any option left but to run.
And so I did.

“I’m Sorryy!!!” I yelled and ran down the corridor.
“YAH!! YOU STOP!!” Hyobin ran behind me.

I was almost at the door, just about to push it open, when my foot twisted and I fell.
Tears almost immediately started rolling down my face, but it didn’t stop me.
I tried crawling out, I was almost out.
Until I heard this certain voice.

“What the hell is wrong with you, Hyobin?”

Yifan?!

“I didn’t do anything Kris! It’s her! That girl lying on the floor! ”

Kris? But that’s Yifan’s voice!

“Ahh Now who’s that girl?”
his footsteps were coming closer and closer

I tried hard to crawl out of the place before ‘Kris’ could get to me.
Because he was the leader and I wasn’t a member.

I tried my best but my foot was paining really badly.
Suddenly, my vision became blurry and I started lose conscious.
The world around me became inky black.
The last thing I saw was a boy’s face. I couldn’t really make out the features,
but I’m 100% sure,
he had blonde hair.
