Wow. My crush since 2 years ago loves a girl who has been gone for that two years.

I'm serious, the only thing that loves me is food.

Scratch that, I think even food doesn't love me.

Since I eat them very... violently?

I'm hopeless.

"Then confess?" I asked.

"I think she still loves Fany though..."

"Don't give up. I'm sure there are people who love you though."

"Adopted parents, and family... nothing else."

I do...

"Well, don't give up alright? Your... love will come round eventually."

"Thanks, shikshin."

"No problem, bunny."

Jessica's POV

"Sica, what is wrong with Sunny, Taeyeon and Fany these days?" Yuri looked and asked me.

"You know what Fany did to Taeyeon..." I said, still unsure.

"How does that have to do with Sunny?" she questioned.

"I have no idea."

"Anyway, are you free tonight?"

"Why do you ask?"

"I was wondering if you wanna like eat out or somethin..."

"Oh... I am free tonight..."

"Should we invite Taeyeon and Tiffany to you know, make up?"

"NO! I mean... uhh... they should figure it out themselves right?"

Woah, way to be obvious, ice princess.

Yuri giggled, "Okay then. I know you'll need your beauty sleep, so around 7?"

I just embarrassed myself in front of Kwon Yul...

WAIT.

Did she just ask me out?! 

OH MY GAWD.

THOMP. THOMP. THOMP.

My heart is beating like... really REALLY fast.

Taeyeon's POV

Heh. That convo between Sica and Yul was totally awesome.

Ice Princess being shy in front of Yuri.

And Yuri finally asking her out.

I turned my head to look at Sunny and Sooyoung who were walking in.

Sunny's eyes were red and puffy.

"Soonkyu! Are you okay? Were you crying? Why were you crying?" I bombared her with questions.

She smiled, "I missed my family."

"Homesick? Aish, it's okay. We are also considered your family, Sunny." I smiled at her.

I looked at Sooyoung.

She seemed... off.

Not the usual Choi Shikshin who jokes around and steals other people's food.

"Anyway, what are we eating for dinner tonight?" she asked suddenly.

"I don't know... let's ask the girls. HEY KIDS!" all of them turned to look at me and started walking closer.

"How many times have we told you NOT to call us kids?" Yuri asked, looking annoyed.

I laughed.

"Aish, Yuri and Sica can excuse yourselves. Afterall, you already have a dinner date tonight right?"

Yuri and Sica both blushed madly and looked down, while the rest of us laughed.

"So, what're we going to eat?" I asked, "Korean, Japanese, Thai, Western, Spanish or... Italian?" I glanced at Tiffany, who seemed to be looking away.

She loved italian food.

We used to go to a western restaurant called "Bella Italia" whenever we went on dates.

"ITALIAN!" Sooyoung exclaimed. I saw Fany's face brighten up.

"Yeah, unnie. I found this place which sells nice italian food." Yoona exclaimed.

"I'm fine with anything, unnie." Seohyun smiled.

"Yeah! Let's go Italian tonight!" Sunny, the energy pill laughed.

I looked at Tiffany, "Is Italian alright for you?" I asked in my coldest tone.

"Yeah... totally fine..." she went back to looking away.

"So, what's the name of that restaurant you found, Yoong?"

"Bella Italia." both me and Tiffany looked at Yoona in disbelief.

"Yoong, can we go to somewhere else? Like.. La Sfera or something?" I asked her.

"But the prices there are waay too high! I went to eat at Bella Italia with Hyunnie that day. It's also really really good, and it's cheaper too!"

Sica and Yuri looked at me.

"Or do you want to join us?" Yuri asked me.

I looked at Sica's "please-don't" face and smiled back at Yuri.

"Nah, I can go... I'm perfectly fine. Where is it, Yoong?"

"Well, the nearest one is near both your old schools, Kirin and Soshi Girl's School."

GREAT. It has to be that restaurant and it has to be that place?

Darn it. 

"Is that the main restaurant? It isn't is it? The main restaurant usually serves better food, you know? So we should go to the main restaurant!" I said quickly.

"Woah, slow down, unnie. It wasn't the main restaurant before, but it became the main one recently."

And there goes my hopes of not going back there.

Tiffany seemed to be either affected by that too or she seemed to notice my uncomfort.

"I think La Sfera is better though..." she admitted.

"Yeah, I think so too!" Sunny said, looking at me.

"How about we split then?" Sooyoung asked.

"Yeah, sure." I agreed.

"Those going with me to Bella Italia?" Yoona asked.

Sunny, Sooyoung and Seohyun raised their hands.

"So, where are you guys going, Taeyeon, Tiffany unnie?" Seohyun asked, "What kind of food are you guys eating?"

"KOREAN!" both me and Fany said at once.

"So you guys are going together?" Yoona asked.

"NO." I said, opposing strongly.

Tiffany's POV

I looked at Taetae sadly.

"Yeah... I think I'll just stay at the dorm and eat instant noodles or something..." I looked away.

"No, Fany! You can join us." Sooyoung told me.

"I think I'll just stay at the dorm. Gotta familiarize myself around anyway. The place is waay too big."

"But it's dangerous for you to walk alone outside, especially since SM Ent. already showed the pictures of us..." Seohyun said.

"I know! Taeyeon unnie, you can accompany Fany unnie right? You didn't talk with us yesterday anyway, so you need to get to know her." Yoona said, giving an high-five to Seohyun.

"You don't have to, Taeyeon-sshi."

"No, I'm the leader. I'm supposed to protect you guys right?" she smiled.

She dragged me out of the building.

"Taeyeon, I know you don't want to. You don't have to."

"No, I don't mind. I feel like eating instant noodles anyway." she smiled at me.

"Why? Why are you playing? One minute, you hate me, another you don't mind accompanying me?"

She stopped walking and looked at me.

"Can't it be that I want to get to know you?"

"Are you going to act like you don't?"

"But I really don't. I have no idea on whether you have changed since the last time. For the better or for the worse."

"After what happened with you, I doubt I can ever change for the worse."

She kept quiet before changing the subject, "So, what's your favorite food?"

"You know."

"It didn't change?"

"No."

"Oh... okay... uhh... favorite color?"

"It didn't change too..."

"Still pink? Aish, Fany, we're already 19... you STILL like Pink?"

"Yup. Pink is my life."

She chuckled, "Favorite toy?"

"Taeyeon, still so childish?"

"I wasn't the one looking at barbie dolls when we went to the toy store." she said teasingly, picking up her pace.

"Yah!" I also quickened my pace.

She turned back and smiled.

"You... aren't angry at me?" I asked her.

"Of course I am. But it's fun to chill right? Especially with the pink maniac."

"Hmph." I pouted.

"Don't pout, Fany. You know how much I hate aegyo."

"But you love my aegyo." I continued pouting.

She laughed, "What makes you think that? We broke up remember?"

"You can still like my aegyo right?" I asked.

She nodded, "But I still hate aegyo. Especially Sunny's. It's seriously ACP."

"ACP?"

"Aegyo that Calls for a Punch." she said.

"Well, then mine is ACK."

"ACK? Aegyo that Calls for a Kill?"

I smiled, "No. Aegyo that Calls for a Kiss."

She sticked her tongue out. "Maybe you can get that from your boyfriend."

"I don't have one..."

"Okay... anyway, we're reaching."

She ran in front holding her keys. "Catch me if you can." she laughed.

By the time I went in, she was already inside.

"Hah! You still can't catch me!" she laughed.

"Taeyeon... do you... still... you know?"

"I have no answer to that." her mood went down.

I sighed.

Things will never be the same...

"Do you... want me to make the noodles for you?"

"Forget it. I'm not hungry anymore." she went back to her cold voice and went into her room.

Taeyeon's POV

I can't forget it afterall.

As much as I want to be friends with Tiffany, I just can't.

She just reminds me of that time.

I lay down on my bed, right next to Sunny's.

"What to do...?" I muttered.

Then I heard the sound of metal on the floor.

I rushed out and saw Tiffany, who scalded her hand.

There was a pot on the floor.

Tiffany just stood there.

"Aish, pabo." I quickly took her hand and put it under running water.

Then I went to clean up the water on the floor.

"Sorry, Taeyeon..."

"I told you so many times not to use the dirty cloth to handle the pot right? It may contain grease, which will make it slippery. You really should stop making people worried about you."

She chuckled.

"YAH. You're hurt. How can you still laugh?"

"Nothing. Just... nice to see you worried about me..." she continued chuckling.

"Yeah, so you broke my heart before. That doesn't mean I don't love you anymore." I covered my mouth after realizing what I said.

GODDAMNIT. WHAT THE HECK DID I JUST SAY?!

"What...? Did I just hear...?"

"I said that just because you broke my heart, doesn't mean I can't be worried about my best friend..." I tried to cover up.

"O..Kay... are you sure you didn't say anything else?"

"NO. I didn't say anything else."

"Are you.. sure?"

"YEAH. I SWEAR."

"Since when did you ever swear?"

"Since you left me?"

"I seriously hate it when you answer my questions with questions."

"And I seriously don't care."

"Taetae..." she tried using her pet name for me.

"Don't call me that."

"But Taetae..." she pouted.

"Hwang Miyoung." 

"Hmph. Fine." she stopped pouting.

"Your real name is still intimidating eh?" I laughed at her.

"Hmph." now she was acting angry.

"The answer to the question you asked me when we were just walking inside, is maybe."

I said as I walked into my room and listened to music.

If I said that I don't hate her anymore, I'd be lying.

If I said that I still love her a lot, I'd be lying.

If I said that I wasn't affected by our past, I'd be lying.

I am. I'm really affected by the past.

I can't forget what happened.

I never will...
