Since then, the two became even more inseparable. While Tiffany maintained her snarky attitude, their classmates could actually see her smiling more around Yuri. A new fan club formed within the student body that completely worshipped the two girls. Whether Tiffany liked it or not she was becoming the number 2 goddess fast. Of course there were students that did not like this at all.

“M…m..morning Tiffany!”

Tiffany turned around and gave a head nod to the girl that had approached her locker. She observed the girl smile brightly and bow before running off to her friends. She could only look at the girl dumbfounded.

“Why do you look like a confused mushroom,” asked Yuri as she approached Tiffany’s locker.

Raising an eyebrow Tiffany responded, “Mushrooms don’t have faces. How can they look confused huh?”

Yuri chuckled and poked Tiffany on the nose causing the other girl to blush slightly. “Well you are my mushroom, which has a face. Anyway, what’s wrong,” asked Yuri.

The shorter girl glanced around at the students near their lockers. Some of them immediately turned away when she looked at them while others sent her nasty little glares and walked away with their friends. “Yuri why do they keep looking at me…looking at us,” asked Tiffany in return.

Yuri didn’t even look up at her classmates. Instead she answered, “Just ignore them Fany. They mean no harm.” She wraps an arm around Tiffany and smiles. “Come on let’s go to class.”

Later that day, after Yuri departed for swim team practice, Tiffany opened her locker and found an envelope in all black. She retrieved the envelope and looked at it strangely. No one ever put things in her locker before so she was confused why someone would now. She opened the note and her eyes opened wide. Inside, there were cut out magazine letters.

 “We’re watching you Hwang.”

After the initial shock, she furrowed her brows and slammed her locker. No one was in sight. She shook her head and immediately threw the letter in the trash. She didn’t have time to bother with petty games.
