CHAPTER 13******* ILLNESS

"WHOAAA SOOOO NICEEEE" Zelo yelled after his first mouthful of ddeokbokki, I nodded in agreement but unlike him I stuck with Sundae and Mandoo which are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, but looking at Zelo and Himchan's ddeokbokki it made me jealous

"Do you want some?" Himchan said to the right of me, I was caught. I'd just finished a mouthful of Madoo when I looked up only to have Himchan put a finger under my chin and personally get hand fed a peice of ddeokbokki. I looked away completely embarressed and chewed the spicy ricecake. "Is it good?" he said with wide eyes, I nodded and carried on eating my own food with a bright red face

"Yah do you mind, that's my little sister" Minjin said in a mad voice at the end of the table, Himchan instantly looked away from me and focused on his own food

"That's not fair I want to feed Yejin too" Jongup said before stabbing him pork mandoo with his stick, Woohyun and Minjin threw him a defencive look making me rush to chew to defend the poor innocent Jongup from my big brothers

"Um no thank you, I already have mandoo so I'm good" I said in a panic, but then Himchan put an arm around me and put another peice of ddeokbokki in my mouth

"Eat up so you can grow taller" he said with a calming smile, I looked down at his hand shyly and carried on chewing... this is so awkward

"Yejin if Daehyun is feeling well tomorrow after school can you call your friends over and we can go to get some actual food, maybe we could go to Hongdae and go to a couple of Noraebang?" Yongguk said finishing his food first, he ordered odaeng and a stole a little big of Jongup's sundae.

"That'd be a great idea, I'll deffinatly invite Yeunja" I said nudging Zelo teasingly, he blushed and ignored me. "Oh come on Zelo we all know that you like her" I nudged him even more, he pouted and played about with his food

"That's because he's pretty and he's got a cute personality, she probably doesn't even like me anyway, I'm too tall" he mumbled while avoiding all eye contact

"Who's Yeunja?" Woohyun asked Yongguk politely, Yongguk smirked and put an arm around the maknae

"Yeunja is a little cutie that our maknae has a crush on" Yongguk boomed in a loud voice, Zelo covered his face all embarressed that himself and Yeunja is the topic choice of the conversation

"So you've got yourself a little crush eyy?" Woohyun smiled at Zelo who proceeded with a slight nod, Woohyun took a deep breath in and sat up straight. "Ahhhh young crushes are the best, especially when cute girls are in the picture. The first crush I had..." me and Minjin interupted him with groans of annoyance, he's seriously so annoying when he starts to talk about his girlfriends

"Seriously Woohyun-ah, don't go talking about your girlfriends and crushes" Minjin begged but Woohyun winked and still carried on talking despite our protesting

"Okay as I was saying, her name was Joanna and she was an American transfer student when I was studying in Australia, she was tall and thin and she had BRIGHT red hair that curled to her shoulders, her eyes were huge and as green as the grass. She was the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen in my life" he took a bite from his gogi mandoo and sighed. "We lasted two years before she had to move back America, I will never forget how beautiful she was" and then he fell into a deep daydream

"I'm so sorry about my brother, he's had quite a few girlfriends over the years" I appologised but they just nodded and went back to eating awkwardly... "have you guys ever had girlfriends?" I said making them choak on their food

"W...wh...what" Zelo stuttered, I wouldn't have expected Zelo to have dated before but what about Yongguk and Himchan?

"I've been too busy with being a trainee and focusing on my dream" Yongguk said quickly, I smirked and looked down at my food

"So you guys have never had your first kiss?" I teased making them look at me with wide eyes and bright red faces, "oh my gosh you guys are just adorable" I laughed so hard that tears started to fall down my cheeks

"It's not adorable, we've been waiting for the right girl" Yongguk said shyly which really didn't suit his strong manly immage, I heard Himchan mutter something but I didn't catch it 

"Oppa why don't we set Zelo up on a date?" I whispered to Yongguk who looked at me with wide eyes, he hesitated for a few seconds before looking away and replying

"Um... Don't you think he's a little young, I mean he's still only a kid and kids aren't supposed to date" he looked flustered which struck me off guard, he looked embarressed and not in-control for the first time

"Are you a protective hyung?" I said with a joking smile, he looked at me shocked and shook his head as fast as he could

"Aniya, there's no way I'm a protective hyung" he whispered urgently, I giggled and for some reason I couldn't wipe the smile off of my face

"Omo you totally are, your adorable" I said making him blush even more, but just then someone grabbed my shoulder and turned me around

"It is her, it's he principle's neice, and she's here with a bunch of guys" I recognised him, he's a guy from my school and I know him just the same as everyone else does, he's one of the worst guys in the school. His grades are a mess, so is his attendance and don't get me started on his attitude... I'm starting to sound like my mum...

"I told you so, heyy should we spread rumours about her?" one of the other guys said, he had orange dyed hair and a nose piercing... he got his phone out and took a photo of me

"Heyy heyy come on you guys, can't you see we're trying to have a meal with my little sister?" Woohyun said in a harsh tone, the boys wavered a little but then proceeded to cause a disruptance

"So your the whimp's sister? I bet your just like her, a scared little weakling" the leader of the guys spat as he walked closer to my brother. He poked his chest and smirked "your pretty ripped and tanned, your from America maybe? Or Africa?" he said in an annoyingly smug voice

"Hey Dongyul hyung that's enough, her people are starting to gett pissed off" the orange haired guy said mockingly which seriously made me want to kick him in the crown jewels... but I know I don't have the gutts for it

"Oh are they now, well what are the little fairies going to do about it, they're probably trainees or some crap club band. I bet they wouldn't last a day as a real idol group" Dongyul said getting closer to me, I got off of my stool and backed as far as I could to the counter

"Wow come on guys leave her alone" Yongguk said finally gettin up from beside me, the guys finally noticed Yongguk's face and took a step back

"Ha! Your the singer with the bassed out voice and the stupid gummy smile" Dongyul said in a less intimidating voice, Yongguk took my arm and hid me behind him

"What's wrong?" I whispered to him, I notcied that all the B.A.P members were a little on edge

"That Dongyul is a Demon" Zelo whispered quietly so that my brothers wouldn't here, I looked at Dongyul and hid more behind Yongguk... okay now I'm scared... Dongyul gave me a menacing smile and took a step towards us but halted when Jongup and Zelo stood up to protect me

"Is he going to try and kill me?" I asked Youngguk quietly, he stiffened and looked at me slightly before nodding... I'm scared... I want Daehyun to come and bring me back home... I don't want to be killed... Just then someone grabbed my hand and pulled me down the street, I looked up to see Daehyun smiling down at me... He picked me up and proceeded to sprint down the street with me in his arms... "You could hear my thoughts couldn't you?" I said with reddened cheeks, he laughed a little and nodded

"Yeah, since I made the block on your thoughts I'm the only one that can read them" he said embarressed, I pouted and tappedis shoulder lightly

"Ya Jung Daehyun that's something you should have told me before dummy" I said only half angry with him, but I was still scared and worried about the others and my brothers back at the stall with Dongul. I took a look behind us where Himchan was walking my brothers away from danger but I noticed Zelo, Jongup and Yongguk shouting and yelling at the gang...

"They'll be fine, don't worry the demons don't like to fight in public" he said reasuring me, but that didn't set my mind off of things one bit. I looked back in front and sighed, suddenly I felt a drop of warm water on my cheek... it's not raining... I glanced up suddenly remembering

"Oppa aren't you supposed to be ill?" I said confused, he looked at me with tired eyes and gave me a smile. "YAH YOUR STILL ILL, WHY ARE  YOU OUT OF BED" I scolded him drawing attention to us

"Be quiet, they can't see us but they can still hear you" he said with a red face, I pouted again and crossed my arms... I hate angel powers. "I'm sorry" he said reading my mind again... it doesn't annoy me as much as it used to but I still get irritated... and I still don't know why

"Oppa, are you feeling okay?" I said as warm beads of sweat rolled down his forehead, he was also out of breath and I could feel his arms trembling which I guessed wasn't normal for an Angel. He turned right and put me down as we came up to the gate and he collapsed right in front of me, "Daehyun? Oppa wake up, Daehyun oppa wake up" I shook him but there was no responce, I looked around but there was no one... "Youngjae... Youngjae can you hear me? Please help Daehyun's collapsed" I shouted towards the house... to be honest I felt like a mad person yelling into what looks like an empty house but then Youngjae came running out

"What happened? I sware I only took my eyes off of him to go to the bath room" Youngjae said flustered as he put Daehyun's arm around his neck. He picked him up and struggled with him up the garden path and into the house, he put him in his bed and then put the wet cloth that was left in the bowl back on Daehyun's forehead.

"Oppa what's wrong with him? It doesn't look like a normal cold" I said feeling full of worry, Youngjae sighed and shook his head

"It's not a normal cold, for Angels our version of a cold is much much much worse then the humans, in fact in some cases the illness could actually kill us" he said not holding back on the worst case stuff. 

"Great" I grumbled as I laid down on the floor next to the bed, just then Mato came running in with the rest of B.A.P and my brothers trailing behind him

"Is he feeling any better?" Zelo said running to his hyung's side, Youngjae shook his head making all the B.A.P members look worried

"What's wrong with him?" Minjin asked while looking over Yongguk's shoulder, the members hesitated before lying to them or course

"It looks like he's just got a very serious stomach bug, there's nothing to worry about" Himchan said in a reasuring voice but I know that it's much worse then what he's saying

"What about your comeback?" I asked after my brothers had left the room, the members came closer in case my brother's come back

"We'll use a decoy, we can make a fake Daehyun temporarily while the real one recovers" Youngjae said while rubbing his chin, he seams really smart...

"Youngjae Oppa can you tell me more about the demons" I demanded, the others looked at me suprised as I'd caught them off guard, Youngjae looked at me reluctant which made me want to know even more. "Please tell me" I said making the face I use on my dad to tell him that I want another pair of trainers

"Fine" he huffed as he gave into my puppy eyes, he sat down in front of me and I sat up, the others sat down too and Zelo closed the door so that my brothers don't listen in on the conversation

"Hyung are you sure you want to tell her?" Jongup said also looking hesitant with the idea of letting me know about their world

"If I don't tell her she'll not give up until one of us tell her, and no doubt Daehyun would tell her from the moment he wakes up, so it's either now or later when we're all annoyed and we will most likely tell her the bad stuff first" Youngjae said in a slightly angry tone, the others nodded and allowed him to speak. "Okay so demons are slightly what you think, they're unholy creatures that do not possess a human form so they take over another's body, mose likely a younger body because they can sustain them for longer periods of time. Though not all demons choose to live ungreatuflly, some demons actually become vegetarians and live their days working and living like normal humans. But others only use human vessels to comsume humans and strive to destroy all humans." I gulped and remembered back to Donghae in school... he was going to kill me...

"Youngjae stop for a moment can't you see your scaring the girl?" Himchan said before taking my head in his hands and began hugging me close to his chest... 

"Oppa I want to learn more" I groaned but he said nothing so I looked at Youngjae to tell me more

"Demons are like Angels in many ways, they have different abilities to humans, they can hear, see and smell things greater then a human. For example they can hear a heartbeat from a mile away and they can track certain scents to find either someone to eat or to locate the members of their fam..." I cut him off 

"Don't you mean something to eat?" I said poking my head above Himchan's arm, Youngjae shook his head and sighed

"Demons eat people" he said in a normal tone, I felt instant horror at the thought of Dongyul or Donghae eating people, Himchan put his hands over my ears and yelled at Youngjae

"YAH GIVE THE GIRL A BREAK FOR A MOMENT WILL YOU, can't you see she's scared" Himchan gave me a worried look and squeezed me even harder against him

"Oppa can you let me go please" I mumbled but he didn't let me go

"I guess it can wait" Youngjae said before getting up and running out of the room with Mato folowing after him... then the other members got up and walked out... including Himchan who just left me sat in the middle fo the room like an insane person... what was that all about?

"Yejinnie?" a croaky voice called my name, I turned aorund to see Daehyun sat straight up in bed. I got up and walked over to him

"What are you doing up?" I said in a loud whisper, he smiled at me and handed me the cloth

"Can I have a re-rinse please?" he said in a really compelling voice, without another word he laid back down and watched me with those dark brown eyes. I put the cloth in the cold water and did so in awkward silence. I put the cloth back on his forehead but when I was about to pull my hand away he grabbed in and pulled me towards him and put his lips against mine... I was frozen like the kiss had stopped time... my whole body felt like it was full of numbing electricity and my heart was pounding so hard I wouldn't be surprised if Daehyun could actually hear it. 

Eventually he pulled away and leant his forhead against mine, his eyes closed and lips parted slightly, his breathing was as quick and heavy as mine, my whole body is shaking with mixed emotions but mostly it was happiness... I don't know why I'm happy... do I like Daehyun? Do I like him enough to be feeling happiness like this? Just then he opened his eyes and looked at me with a look I've never been given before, his eyes pierced straight into mine, the right corner of his lips lifted to give me a half smile...

"Yejin?" he kept his smile and his voice was driving me crazy... I looked at him and thought about why I was happy, and then it hit me... a perfect guy kissed me and is looking at me with those kind of eyes... I really must be crazy to even give it a second thought... I couldn't help but smile before throwing my arms around him and re-placing my lips on his...

MIANHAEEEEEEEEE I'm so sorry it's such a late update, I've been really busy with the final stages of my college work (I'VE FINISHED COLLEGE >_< ) so regretably I've been really slow on all of my story updates, but now that i've finished college I can upload chapters faster (much faster) then I have been. On another hand I hope you liked this chapter, it took me quite a while to figure out what I was going to write (mainly because I've been writing this chapter as well as another chapter for another fanfiction) so I wanted to create an idea that would get Yejin closer with Daehyun and therefore it can get to the date chapter a little faster :) a little teaser for the next few chapters 

*SPOILERS*

Zelo and Yeunja start dating and because they've not dated before a few things go a little wrong 

Daehyun isn't the only one in love with Yejin

Yejin's brothers find out about her and Daehyun (they're not happy)

Yejin's parents come to town and a few unexpected things happen

Mato goes missing and a few clues lead them to believe a demon has her 

Yejin and her friends cause disruption in school and are sent to Yejin's uncle (the principle)
