Kibum blushes- wait but he never does.

Being Appa's Match Maker

o~o~o~o~o~o~o~o~o~ 04 ~o~o~o~o~o~o~o~o~o

Minyoung scurried towards the big tall bed, where her dad laid peacefully. She always tries to understand the reason why her dad works extremely hard. Where in reality all he could be doing is lazing around the house in front of the telly or even out socialising with some of his friends.

But here was her dad lying in front of her, sleeping after getting home only two hours ago. As soon as Taemin and Minho left a call was receive by the elder telling him that some more papers were needed to be finished. Just when Minyoung thought that it was the perfect time to spend time with her father.

"Hey sweetie, are you ready?" Minho asked popping his head inside the slightly open double doors. The little girl turns towards him giving him a small smile. Ever since they got back from Paris the time that Minyoung spent with her dad massively decrease. If only the women surrounding her dad would back off then the girl wouldn't have to be so secretive. All in all, the young girl is missing her daddy, a lot. Like a lot, a lot.

She brushes some scattered strands of brown hair away from her father's face and caresses the cheeks before placing a soft gentle kiss on to them. The little girl was being so careful not to wake her tired father. "Love you, daddy, sleep tight." Was all she mutters to the sleeping figure before she quietly makes her way out of the room, shutting the door behind her.

Minho frowned at the slumped ball of body beside him. Not a sound or movement was heard from the little girl. Yet Minho couldn't blame her. Because he too started to realised how often his brother-in-law went to work, spending so little time with his daughter. Minho thought that it wasn’t like Jonghyun to over-work himself like that. Although he was also very aware just how much Jonghyun would go through just to secure the best possible future for his only daughter.

"Uncle, appa doesn't have work today, does he?" Minho couldn't stop himself from internally wincing at the words. Even he was no longer aware of his in law's work-days.

"I'm not sure sweetie." he replies honestly because where's lying going to get him? Nowhere.

The shaggy haired brunette doesn't miss the frown that lingers on the small lips. "But I'm sure he'll take the day of soon, kiddo. Cheer up okay?" The older stays positive, receiving a small nod from the younger.

Minho was completely shocked when Minyoung, the same little girl that would protest whenever she's playfully picked up or spun around, asked the latter to pick her up and carry her to class. Minho doesn't refuse because it´s his one and only niece that asked so nicely. He walks with the quiet girl up to the brightly coloured school in front of them.

A worried Taemin watches as the two got nearer mouthing a worried, 'What's wrong' to the older at the sight of the little girl. She would usually come in school, bouncing and lively ready to learn. Minho offers a small smile as he finally reached the gate where his lover stood, face still troubled and worried.  Minyoung's face was still buried in the warmth of her uncle´s neck, wishing it to be her dad's instead.

"Minnie's just missing her daddy that's all, aren't you baby?" Minho says petting the little girl´s back.

She nodded replying a small muffled "Yeah."

Taemin doesn't ask anymore because it´s clear with how close the relationship between the father and daughter was. He nods in understanding taking the girls belongings from the elder.

"Mi, umma was making you some cookies this morning, so why don't we go inside to see if they're done?" Taemin says lips tugging into a smile as the little girl began to liven up. Minho smiles, putting the little girl down and pecking her forehead in a goodbye.

Taemin and Minyoung waved their goodbyes´ before making their way inside. There Kibum was already seated in the front of the other children, reading a familiar book, Goldilocks and the three bears. Minyoung sat down listening attentively, as Taemin quietly stashed her things away.

Kibum's eyes glistened in worry at the unusual quietness of the girl that sat at the very back. Yet the latter kept his warm smile as he continued to read, telling himself that he'll find the time to ask what's wrong later.

As the hours passes both Kibum and Taemin grow more worried about the girl who looks emotionally exhausted. Only sitting down quietly listening to whatever's being said. When break-time arrived, the girl seemed to have disappeared back to the corner where she always could be found reading. Yet this time it wasn't 'Bambi' or 'Baby sheep and Mama sheep' her small hands were clutched around. This time it was 'Finding Nemo'. Kibum realises through the choice of book, that maybe Minyoung is just missing her daddy. As one year passed of being around Minyoung, the older learned that whatever the little girl would be feeling or thinking, the book she would read would somehow reflect those said feelings. This made it easier for the male to tell what was wrong with the little girl.

It was lunch time when Kibum could see the little girl make her way out towards the playground. It made his worry disappear, the latter positively thinking, that the girl must have snapped out from her troubled trance, that she wanting to play with the other kids instead.

"Ahhhh!!!"

Hearing the high pitch sound of familiar voice crying in agony, Kibum doesn't hesitate to drop everything as he frantically makes his way to the source of the cries. His eyes triple in size as he got nearer finding a crowd of children circling the pained victim. "What happened?!" Kibum asks, heartstrings lopping around his heart clenching it tight as the sight of Minyoung came to view. Her cream coloured tights now browned due to mud as she cried in pain, hands covering the scrapped area. Blood had already stained the cream coloured clothing, the elder immediately scooping her up in his arms.

"Minyoung didn't realise us running over, and I accidentally bumped into her so she fell down and hurt herself." Myungsoo explained looking thoroughly remorseful.

"Next time, lets not run and just play carefully. I don't want anyone else hurting themselves today." Kibum warned, receiving lowered heads and nods.

"Umma, call my daddy, please call my daddy. I want my daddy!" The younger pleads. Her face already stained with tears as she keeps a hand pressed tightly atop of the wounded patch on her knee.

"Baby, I don't think it's serious. It's okay. Umma will make it better." The older cooed but the younger refused by shaking her head.

"I want my daddy, umma. Please." Never has Kibum seen someone so desperate, so the only thing he can do is nod his head, kissing the little girl on the forehead as he brings her trembling body closer to his embrace.

"Stop crying baby, umma will call your appa, okay?" The little girl nods while tears still streamed down red flushed cheeks.

"Hello, good afternoon, may I please have a word with Mr Kim Jonghyun, it's regarding a small accident with his daughter." Kibum asked politely while he brushes his hands through the little girls tangled hair.

"Hello, who is this and what's wrong with Minyoung?"

Kibum couldn't understand why his brain suddenly froze at the sound of the husky yet undeniably worried voice, but needless to say the latter did.

"Hello?"

"Uh, is this Mr Kim I'm speaking to?" Kibum asked hesitantly, biting his lip.

"Yes it is, what's wrong with my daughter." Kibum's heart fluttered at the sound of the worrisome voice that resonates his ears.

"It's Kim Kibum, Minyoung's teacher. She fell down and scrapped her knee, the cut doesn't look deep but she pleaded me to ask you to come here and pick her up. She hasn't stop crying and she keeps on calling for her daddy." The equally concerned blonde said as he slowly laid down the trembling girl on top of the small clinic bed the school owned.

Jonghyun was slowly losing his mind. He just gotten out of an excruciatingly slow meeting when suddenly a call came telling him his daughter fell down and hurt herself. She was crying out for him, just to chopped off the last strings that were holding up his sanity.

His heart contracted at the image of his baby girl crying, tears streaming down her face as she called out for him. It's been so long since the last time he had fully taken the time of to play with the younger. Work being the young father´s main contributor for his lack of time.

"Tell her I'm coming, tell her that daddy's coming! I'll be there as soon as I can!" He told the person on the other line, who only replied with a hurried.

"Of course. I will." The worried dad dashes out his office ignoring the continuous cries of his assistant, he couldn't care less if it was rude or not, his daughter is way more important.

As Kibum puts the phone down he smiled, assuring to the younger whose tears are yet to calm down. She was still sobbing and clutching on to the brown bear she'd always have in her bag. "Don't cry, Minnie. Daddy says his coming right away so lets stop crying. Ki-umma will clean your cut, okay." The blonde cooed, caressing the small cheeks and wiping away what seemed like continuous tears.

After stripping Minyoung of the blood stained tights, the blonde attends to the younger's wounds as quickly as possible. "See baby, it's all okay now." The older said, smiling down at the younger whose tears finally subsided.

"W-When's my daddy going to get here?" Minyoung asked through small sobs, wiping her tears away with the palm of her dainty hands.

"Soon baby, soon." He reassures her petting her head as he puts the first aid kit away, before settling himself down beside the calming girl.

"Want me to read you a book, while we wait?" The male offers with a smile, the girl nodded.

"Yes, please Umma."

Jonghyun didn't care about the amount of red stoplights he ignored, all he cares and was aware about is the fact that his little girl is crying somewhere, waiting for him to comfort her. The older also didn't care about the law of parking in Korea because heck it's the last thing in his mind when he parked in the middle of the road. Discarding his blazer, he rolls up his sleeves till his elbows as he makes a frantic run toward the school gate.

Taemin didn't know if it was a hallucination he was seeing when he saw a frantic looking Jonghyun run toward the schools gate, "Hyung!" He cried out loud startling the older who turns and faces him.

"What are y-"

"Where's the infirmary?" The older asks not even bothering to greet the younger.

"Just go inside that door." Taemin instructs pointing his finger towards said door.

"And just carry on going down the hallway until you get to the infirmary. It´s the door on the right." The younger added but before he could even ask why the older was already gone, running off towards the main door.

Jonghyun noted to himself that he will have to apologise to the younger for being so rude. But all he wanted to do now is to get to his daughter. To hug and tell her that 'Daddy's here' and that everything is going to be alright.

As he made his way through the seemingly long corridor, he couldn't help but notice a certain name written on one of the boards.

'The person who makes me the happiest, the person who makes me laugh the loudest, the person I love the most is none other than my daddy.

Kim Minyoung, 7'

The grin-like smile that magically appeared on the elder's face and grew wider when he recognised it to be his daughter´s cute messy handwriting.

The older carried on looking through the beautifully decorated display of boards, searching for the ones which have been done by his own daughter. He almost forgot why the he was there in the first place.

Nearly half way down the hallway, Jonghyun stops in his tracks for the second time as his eyes shone in curiosity. There in front of him was a drawing made by his daughter. The latter nearly missing it, if it wasn't for the recognition of the curly way Minyoung would write her name and the heart on top of the 'I'. In the drawing there was a blue stick man labelled 'Daddy', holding hand in hand with a pink coloured little stick girl, with what seemed like pig tails coming from her hair labelled 'Minnie'. But what surprised the older was the fact that the drawing didn´t end there. Connected hand in hand with the drawing of his daughter was another purple coloured stick man that had curly kind of hair, holding a tray of what seemed like cookies, labelled as, "Umma".

The picture was making him feel both bitter and delighted at the same time. Bitter because he now knew that his daughter is secretly yearning for the affection of a mother yet delighted knowing that someone else was able to fulfil that role and make his daughter happy, enough so to be able to draw a happy looking family, with a dad, a child and a mu-

Then it dawned on Jonghyun, didn't Taemin say that the umma Minyoung has been constantly calling is indeed a boy. Although Minyoung did correct him saying that, 'Ki-umma is a very very very pre-'

"Ahahaha~"

Jonghyun's thoughts were disrupted by a sound of muffled laughter coming from the end of the corridor. The older realises the real reason he was here and without wasting any more time he makes his way towards said room, taking long strides.

As the parent got closer, the giggling voices became louder and clearer. One of the voices distinctively belongs to his daughter. He sighs in relief because the laughter could only mean one thing. Minyoung is fine and laughing.

The slightly opened door, allows Jonghyun to witness a heart fluttering sight. Minyoung was lying on her back while getting tickled by a lean figure who happily laughed along with her. The elder couldn't stop himself from smiling, his little girl twisting and turning. "Ah... U-umma... Stop it... Ahah-"

Minyoung cried, voice braking with laughter. She twisted and turned when she suddenly recognised two very familiar puppy like eyes looking at her through the far of the open door, "Daddy~!"

Kibum stopped tickling the squirming girl at the sound of the door being pushed open. The lively and enthusiastic Minyoung that he knows and loves is finally back. "Baby, Daddy's here, what happened?" Kibum swears, that the man in front of him was only an image of his imagination. His ideal man stood before him, muscular figure with broad shoulders, clad with such a sinful tight fitting black dress shirt rolled up to his elbows as well as grey suit pants that are slightly tighter around the ankles. Even the face of the man in front of him made Kibum feel light headed, his cheeks flushing red. Never would he have expected a man so young, to father such a beautiful child. Now he understands why Minyoung is so naturally adorable and endearing, it's all in the genes.

But Kibum was never the one to blush or to get flustered. He doesn't know what exactly to feel at the moment, because damn, there seems to be this godly figure in front of him, who seemed too good to be true. He wants to smack himself on the head with his hands for even getting so flustered around a man he met just a few seconds ago.

"Daddy you came!" The younger cried, holding up her two arms for her father to come in between.

"Of course sweetie, I got here as soon as I got the phone call." The older replied picking his daughter up and bringing her to sit on his lap careful so not to touch the pink princess band aid placed on top of her knee.

Minyoung nuzzled her face in the confine space of her father's neck, inhaling the scent which always seems to make the little girl feel at ease. The scent has always been so familiar to her, the scent that is her dad. The sent that she had missed.

She knew that she probably frightened and scared the wits out of her Ki-umma, but all she wanted was to be in the arms of her father.

He awkwardly stepped aside allowing the two to be together. Kibum's heart literally melts at the scene unfolding in front of him. His thoughts recalling the things which Taemin had said to him earlier that same day.

"Hyung, I've never seen such a close relationship like theirs. It's so cute and adorable and argh, I just can't even- everything is just so beautiful. Jonghyun-hyung is like your ideal partner; funny, nice, handsome, most of all so down to earth and family orientated, and the love that fills his eyes whenever Minyoung is near him. It is just so admirable. I never knew that much love could even exist. Minyoung just puts the cherry on the cake; bubbly, sweet, respectful and charming, those two are like the perfect package."

Kibum doesn't argue with the toffee hair coloured younger. Indeed he was right, they were the perfect package. But the latter shook his head in disagreement. He couldn't think anymore of it. It would be stupid and wrong.

"-mma, umma are you okay?"

It took Kibum a while to register through his clouded head that Minyoung was talking to him. 'Mind out of the gutter' the feline told himself, 'Out of the gutter.'

"I'm fine baby, just fine." He replied smiling not wanting to seem more unnatural. Why was he acting so weirdly anyway, he had met more than a handful of parents before, for both good and bad reasons.

"Ki-umma, come sit down." The little girl instructs the blonde, patting the vacant space beside her and her father, as she holds out her hand for Kibum to take. The mood became so much better than before making the other only nod in response. He slowly made his way towards the pair, the younger's father lifting her daughter to sit so that she was in between two clearly flustered males.

"Daddy, meet Ki-umma; Ki-umma, meet my daddy." The girl said confidently, as she shares smiles with both of them while she turned to face them both as she introduced them to one another. The 7 year old was so happy to have her father by her side to meet one of the most important people that she had the honour to meet. To her they are the two most important factors of her happiness. The young girl couldn't help but to silently ask for the three of them to be a family instead, a happy and complete family.

She knew very well that her Ki-umma isn't a woman. But that fact made everything all the merrier. She never did like them anyway. Her Ki-umma is perfect for her dad; beautiful, intelligent, caring, all the boxes of characteristics her dad looked for ticked. He was the only one that understood him, the only one that allowed her to feel complete just like every other children that had their mums to look after them. Ki-umma brushed her hair, braided it in to place as well as bake her the most delicious cookies.

Her daddy did say that it was okay to love whoever you want, whatever you want as long as it makes you happy. Could Ki-umma make them happy, can't he?

Minyoung could no longer suppress that feeling of extreme happiness. She was having the thought of having a complete family, the thought of everything just falling perfectly into place. She had a mission, a mission that could make her future brighter than what it could be. A mission she happily impose on herself. It couldn't be that hard to make two people who are clearly perfect for each other, (even if they themselves are yet to be aware of) fall in love, could it?

The girl inwardly shakes her head. 'This is as easy as saying 1, 2, 3. Actually eating pie would of been a lot easier.'

The uneasiness Jonghyun felt only increased as the feline man sat down only centimetres away. His stomach was churning and the beads of perspiration were appearing on the brunette's head clear examples that the parent started to feel nervous, 'This is bad.'

But why is it that when the blonde's cherry red bow lips part in order to talk, fascinated the elder so much or the fact that his eyes can't tear themselves from the beautiful feline shaped eyes that pierced through him, 'Can, he see; see the thing I'm hiding?' Jonghyun doesn't even dare want to explore the thought around the blonde other. The one his daughter freely calls 'mother'.

Both men are snapped out of their thoughts as they feel small hands encircling their wrists. They both look down in unison, eyes widening as they realise the event that will take place in any moment. Yet neither tries to pull away as the younger draws their hands together.

Closer and closer together. Both let the breath they didn't even knew they were holding escape dry lips, as the warmth of each other enveloped them.

Minyoung smiles. Even she could feel the chemistry between them, so undeniable true and she just hopes and prays that they feel it too.

"Nice to finally meet you, Mr Kim," Kibum blames it to the sun´s heat to why his cheeks flush red at the touch of the other's big warm hands which nicely contrasted his own smaller, paler ones.

Jonghyun denies the idea of liking the thought of holding the small pale hands that clasped his own. It was wrong, not it the sense of wrong being a man´s hands that he was holding. Wrong in a sense of something much deeper. At least it wasn't a beer belly guy that was mothering his daughter. Although he doesn't know if that fact was a good thing or not because dang, does having a really cute and beautiful boy, it just makes it harder for him to stop. Geez, what was he even saying? Now he is losing his mind over a dude, a teacher, his daughter's teacher.

But rudeness wasn't something he tolerates either, he promises himself that it was a beautiful friendship that could blossom between them. Close friendship between a teacher and his students' parent. Yet a pang in his heart told him that they could be somethi- 'No, there will never be.'

"Jonghyun, call me Jonghyun and the pleasure is mine." He finally says just like he would if he was introducing himself to an investor or someone of high status. They pull apart and nothing but awkwardness fills the atmosphere.

The elder witnesses the blush caressing the others cheeks. He shakes his head inwardly praying to the heavens that the images were only a fragment of his imagination.

"Kibum but call me Key...or whichever you prefer to call me. I don't really mind."

Minyoung, could only watch and smile at the sight that unfolded in front of her. The mission had been already proving far too easy. The girl is so happy with the fast paced accomplishment of her mission. Her small mind is already celebrating.

Jonghyun had to get himself away from the situation. Yet all he wants to do is stay in put and hear more about the younger. 'No, I have to get away.'

"I-is it alright to take Minyoung home, K-Key-ssi?" The older hates the fact that he stuttered and forgets to act his cool as the foreign name rolled out of his tongue. It was not like him to stutter or trip over words. Normally it was his co-workers or the women he meets on his business trips, even the cleaner in his office- but never, ever was it him.

Kibum on the other hand couldn't even register the elder talking as he shamelessly lets a few wandering gazes fall on the gorgeously sculpted face of the other. Forgetting the fact, that the face he's currently salivating over is none other than the face of his favourite student´s father.

Kibum stands up, clearing his throat before telling Jonghyun that it was fine to take Minyoung home. Telling him that he needed a note to show the reception, before he could do so.

Jonghyun gets up, lifting his daughter to his embrace settling her on his forearm as she encircles both arms around his neck.

The three made their way out of the infirmary. Jonghyun and Minyoung following behind the inch taller blonde a few steps in front of them. The silence was eating up the last strings of Kibum's sanity.

"Minnie, umma forgot to give you the cookies I baked today. Would you want to take them home?" The feline asked his dimples on display, making denial harder for Jonghyun. The way his daughter looked, eyes brightly shinning at the mention of baked cookies would continue to haunt him.

"Thank you so much, umma. I love you." The girl says, she holds both arms out stretching them as far as her arms could go, "I love you this much~" the younger added.

Kibum looks back twisting his head to face the younger whose adorable action. Suspected as the main reason for his tooth decays and the younger male couldn't help but giggle, "I love you this muc-" But before the feline could even continue he feels himself falling. He shuts both his eyes tight, awaiting for the carpeted floor to welcome him. Yet it never came instead strong firm hands tightens their hold around one of his wrist, pulling him up.

He feels himself crashing to something hard.

"Umma!!!"

Kibum, slowly cracks an eye, smiling as he realises Minyoung's face not far from his own with her small arm wrapped around his shoulder. But that wasn't the contact that made his skin tingle. The large hands that slipped through his shirt, touching his bare waist was the reason for why bolts of electricity were making his body tingle and the blush on his cheeks to redden.

"You should, be more careful." Kibum literally feels his knees go weak as the voice that said the very words were so close to his ear. Kibum musters the courage to turn his face the other way. He shuts his eyes tight, twisting his head that little bit. 'Just open your goddamn eyes, Key what can he do to you?'

Once feline eyes fell onto enormous puppy shaped ones Kibum doesn't really realises what the other could really do to him. There were just barely a centimetre separation their noses, breaths curling around each other's faces.

Jonghyun doesn't know what's happening nor what just had happened, with everything going so quickly. First they were walking but suddenly Kibum was falling over then soon enough he was pulling the younger towards him, whilst steadying his daughter in one hand as he twists the younger's body so that they were face to face. His daughter clinging on to the younger to support him.

"Are you okay, Kibum-ssi?" The older asks eyes trying to gaze at something, anything other than the feline ones in front of him. He pulls him in to somewhere inescapable.

Although as Jonghyun tries to help the other to stand up on his own legs. The elder doesn't realise how his innocent hand had somehow slipped under the other's waist. So as he pulls up his hands, Jonghyun is left mesmerised; sliding against smooth hairless mass of the other's waist the brunette lets himself wander why the boy he was holding felt so soft, so tender. He snaps out of it as small coughs started to let his eyes wonder around the room instead. He looks to the side to find out that it was her daughter that was coughing, making Kibum flinch pulling himself up using the brunette's broad shoulders as leverage. Distancing himself from the older not realising how Minyoung was right there, and in saving him could have hurt her.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going and this happened and omo, Minyoung, baby are you okay? I'm so sor-"

Jonghyun could not stop the ends of his lips from tugging at the sight of the flustered boy in front of him. Reddened cheeks and slightly messed blonde hair, it was nothing else but cute.

"Hey, hey it's okay, we're okay- are you okay?" Jonghyun says to the other patting his shoulders eyes filled with worry.

"I'm really sorry I not normally clumsy and I-"

"Key hyung!" Everybody's attention diverted to the tuff of toffee coloured hair bobbing along as he ran towards the trio.

"What happened, why is Jonghyun hyung here and most importantly why is there a plaster in Mimi's knees?" The wavy haired boy asked genuinely curious.

But before the two older males could even utter as much as sound the little girl was already half way in updating Taemin on what had happen, answering all his questions.

"I wasn't paying attention in the playground so Myungsoo accidentally tripped me and I hurt and cut myself and then Ki-umma found me and took me into the infirmary, then I asked for my daddy because... just because and then, daddy came and then asked if I could go home and umma said I could. And then... we were walking to the reception to fill the sheet allowing me to go but- before we got there Ki-umma fell because of the ball over there and then because my daddy is amazing and strong and wonderful, he saved him- with only one hand." Minyoung all explains in a lungful. Using big hand gestures as any 7 year old kids would do whenever the topic of explaining was mentioned. Proper making a harden fist with one hand as she emphasising just how strong her daddy was, leaving a Kibum whose face now resembling much of a tomato and a Jonghyun who stood there with all smiles nodding.

"Wow, isn't that quite a story?" Taemin says loving the way his usually clever, coordinated and controlled co-worker is slowly turning into a bright red tomato. Minyoung, Jonghyun and Key nod in agreement before letting any more awkward silent atmospheres from appearing. The toffee haired younger decides to pull Kibum in front telling the rest to follow him to the office. Half way through Kibum stops and tells the other that there was something he needed to get.

After signing the sheets and filling up forms, the little girl was free to go. Before Jonghyun could even step outside the main door panting Kibum comes jogging: a colourful container with pink ribbon in one hand and 2 books in the other.

"Hey baby, before you go umma wants to give you these." The blonde says out of breath giving the box to Minyoung to hold and Jonghyun the books to take.

"They're the cookies I baked for you and some new books I thought you might like." The younger added smiling leaning forward to plant a soft kiss to the younger's cheeks.

"Take care, Minnie."

The girl smiles clearly loving the fact that in no time this boy spoiling her relentless will soon become her real umma (or appa since, a man and man will be husband and husband. Although the younger concludes that umma fits the blonde more than appa ever would,) or so she hopes. "Thank you umma, I promise to share and give one to daddy." The younger jokes, grinning at her father who did the same. The older faced the blond other clearly mesmerised. 'How nice would it be to have someone like him take care of the both of us.' Jonghyun thought missing the feeling of the one being looked after.

"Thank you for everything, Kibum-ssi- I thinks it's time for us to leave," the older says as he gestures his eyes toward the door before offering Kibum and Taemin a smile and with that, the two were off, with Minyoung waving one hand lively which Kibum returned.

As Kibum turned round to head back to the class he was faces with a smug Taemin who leaned casually on the desk of the school receptionist. "I thought and I quote- 'I will never fall in love with my students' father no matter how good looking and absolutely amazing they are. Okay, Tae get that in your head. I haven't even met the guy for god sake' so what happened to that?” Taemin asked clearly enjoying the show in front of him. Head hung low, teeth nervously chewing on bottom lip and usual placid motionless exterior cracked into millions pieces.

The older avoids the younger's stare, not bothering to even look up to see where he was going as he went inside the classroom sliding pass the other.

But what made the younger's lip tug into the biggest, smuggest grin ever was the soft quite murmuring he heard the older say.

"I didn't fall... I tripped. There's a difference."

The younger couldn't help the smirk from his lips widening, 'Trust me, soon enough you'd be falling hard for him, hyung."
