That's what she told him. She was naive, but she knew. Her hoobae by one year had a crush on her, and she didn't want him to do so. What was the reason for her being blunt? Is it considered cockiness if she knew he liked her, but she told him not to?
She wanted what was best for him.
She liked him too. So much. He was incredible in every aspect. Hundreds of celebrities, idols, fans admired her, but she saw him. Only him. That was the problem.
In him, she saw herself. The same determination, persistence to get everything right until he was satisfied, practicing for hours at a time nonstop. Trying to master other languages in order to be unrestricted by a language barrier, because it hurt their pride a bit when they could not express for themselves how they felt directly. English, Japanese, Mandarin, Korean, different languages but one world.
His refusal to give up, the push to keep going, the constant smiles for the fans that queue up just to see even a glimpse of them.
They had the same personality and same way to live life.
But when he went up to her one day to confess his feelings that he been bottling inside ever since he was a trainee, he had not expected her reply.
"You can't."
She could not handle saying those two words when she so willingly wanted
