CL’s POV

The next two weeks, Show Luo changed drastically. He was a superstar and had his very own fan club. All this attention he was getting turned him into the monster CL was afraid of. He became a cocky jerk that thought the world evolved around him and thought that all the girls loved only him. He even stopped hanging out with So Hee and CL because he thought they were messing up his image.

“So much for keeping promises,” CL said eating her lunch and watching Show Luo show off to his fan club.

“I can’t believe I almost liked the guy,” So Hee added. She then looked to CL and said, “What did you guys talk about after our double date?”

CL was confused saying, “Huh? He didn’t tell you?”

So Hee shook her head, “When you and Seung Ri took off, he just left me! He didn’t say a word and just left!”

“Wow,” CL said.

“So…” So Hee insisted.

“Umm…” CL started to say. She didn’t want to tell So Hee the truth because she was too embarrassed.

So Hee waited quietly and then Seung Ri came and sat down. “Hey ladies!”

“Hey Seung Ri,” CL said relieved that he had come right on time.He laughed saying, “Hey baby girl. I see Show Luo is livin it up,” he said nodding towards Show Luo’s direction.

“I’m kinda embarrassed that I was going to give him a chance. You know he’s not even my type,” So Hee said.

“And what is your type,” Seung Ri said with a husky voice.

“Umm…” So Hee looked around and then whispered, “You!” She blushed at her confession.

Seung Ri gave her a huge smile, “Ooo, I must say you have great taste in guys. I’d treat you right baby boo!” So Hee giggled and blushed when he winked at her.

“Oh wow, baby boo,” CL asked.

“I like the nick name, “ So Hee said still blushing.

CL turned to So Hee and shook her head saying, “So that’s why you wanted to get close to me huh? Dang I’m hurt,” CL teased.

“Who wouldn’t wanna get with this? Because I know how to treat women right,” he said winking again at So Hee.

So Hee was eating up all of Seung Ri’s sweet talk and CL rolled her eyes saying, “You two need to stop! It’s making me sick.”

The three finished eating lunch and started to walk out the lunch room. But then someone called CL.

“Was someone calling me,” CL said turning around to face the cafeteria.

“CL,” Show Luo shouted again.

When he was in front of the three, Seung Ri said, “What the hell do you want?!”

“Is your name CL? I don’t think so! I wanna talk with CL,” he said looking towards CL’s direction.

“How about you talk with my fists you punk,” Seung Ri said throwing his backpack down.

CL grabbed Seung Ri’s arm to stay him saying, “Don’t!” She then glared at Show Luo and said, “What do you want?!”

He smirked at Seung Ri and then looked at CL saying, “Thanks!”

“Thanks for what,” CL asked.

He spun around saying, “For this!”

“Well you can take that thanks back, because I don’t like THAT,” she said pointing to Show Luo.

He laughed at her and said, “That’s not what you said two weeks ago!”

“What did you just say,” CL said angrily.

Show Luo looked around and said loud and clear for everyone to hear, “Yeah that’s right! I said, that’s not what you said two weeks ago!”

CL went up to him and slapped him across the face. Show Luo was shocked at her actions and just held the cheek she slapped. “You’re a monster! Yeah that’s right! I said, I created a monster and I regret ever giving you a makeover. So much for you keeping your promises huh?! You just end up breaking them!” CL shook her head saying, “I don’t even know you anymore! The Show Luo I knew wouldn’t have taken a girls heart and shred it to pieces in front of everyone!” CL turned around and walked back to So Hee and Seung Ri saying, “Let’s go guys!”

So Hee looked at Show Luo and said, “She’s right, you did turn into a monster!”

Seung Ri smirked at Show Luo saying, “You deserved it! Way to destroy your chances with these two beauties and you did it all by yourself!”

After walking a ways from the cafeteria, Seung Ri stopped and the two ladies turned around to look at him.

“What are you doing,” So Hee asked.“

We need to talk,” Seung Ri said walking to the shade he and CL talked at last time.

“About what,” CL asked trying to sound clueless.

So Hee tugged on CL’s arm saying, “C’mon CL, he’s right, let’s talk!”

CL begrudgingly said, “Okay,” and the three sat down.

They sat in silence and then So Hee said, “CL, is that what you and Show Luo were talking about after the double date?” CL looked away from Seung Ri and So Hee and didn’t say anything. So Hee put her hand onto CL’s and said, “CL, if I had known earlier, I would have backed off a long time ago.”

CL then looked at So Hee and said, “But…but he liked you so much! And I saw how you two looked at each other!”

So Hee laughed saying, “Oh, about the last thing, I had to imagine he was Seung Ri the whole time,” and she blushed when she heard Seung Ri laugh. “He was really nice and all, I just wanted to show that I was having a good time with him! But when he left me by myself after the double date, all the feelings I tried to force myself to feel disappeared for good!”

CL nodded saying, “Thanks for tell me that So Hee.”

“Yes, thanks for sharing,” he said winking at So Hee.

CL punched Seung Ri on the shoulder saying, “You’re such a flirt, even during times like these.”

“What,” he laughed.

“CL,” someone shouted. The three looked at the direction the voice came from and it was Show Luo. “CL,” he shouted as he ran to the three.

The three got up quickly and Seung Ri said, “This guy is asking for it.”

When Show Luo reached them he breathed, “CL!”

“You got some nerve to come over here after that scene by the cafeteria,” Seung Ri said clenching his fists.

Show Luo looked at CL and said, “CL.”

“WHAT?! What do you want Show Luo,” CL shouted at him.

“Can we talk,” he finally asked.

So Hee tugged on CL’s arm saying, “CL, you don’t have to do this if you don’t want to!”

Seung Ri glared at Show Luo and said to CL, “Yeah, you don’t! Just say the word and I’ll knock this punk out!”

Show Luo kept his eyes on CL and said, “Please CL.”

“Fine, but make it quick,” she said walking to the nearest building. “Talk,” CL said as they sat down.

Show Luo looked around and then said, “CL, I’m sorry.”

“What, are you afraid someone might see the superstar apologizing to someone,” CL blurted out.

“Umm…no. I just…” Show Luo then went quiet.

“WHAT?! You just what Show Luo?!” She then got up from her seat, “You know what, I just don’t have time for this!”

Show Luo grabbed her by the hand saying, “Wait, please!”

CL glared at him, but then she saw the sincerity in his eyes. She sat back down saying, “What?”

He cleared his throat and said, “You’re right!”

“Tell me something I don’t know,” she mumbled.

“I did turn into someone I’m not. It just took that slap to the face for me to realize what I had become,” he said feeling his slapped cheek.

“I’m glad you realized it,” CL said crossing her arms.

He then knelt on his knees in front of CL saying, “CL…”

CL looked around and said, “What are you doing?!”

“I want to apologize for mistreating you and your heart,” he said softly. CL looked away and felt tears coming. “CL, I was a monster for telling the world your feelings as if I didn’t care,” he said to her. CL started to silently cry and kept looking away.He her face to turn her gaze towards his direction and said, “CL…”

CL looked down saying, “What?”

“I want to thank you for noticing me, when no one else would,” he said wiping away her tears. “You saw me for me and I just tossed you aside like you were nothing to me.” CL sobbed in her hands and didn’t say a word. “I don’t deserve a girl like you,” he said her hair. “But I hope that you can find it in your heart to give me a second chance.”

CL just kept crying and shook her head saying, “I can’t! You hurt me really bad, you know.”

“Let me heal the wounds that I’ve caused. Please CL, let me try to mend your broken heart,” he said. CL cried harder and couldn’t believe her heart wanted to forgive him so easily. Show Luo slowly lifted her face to face his and he kissed her cheeks saying, “Please don’t cry. Let me change these tears into tears of joy and happiness.

CL then wiped her face saying, “I must look like a mess!”

He her face saying, “CL, you’re a goddess!”

CL laughed and said, “Whatever!”

He hugged her saying, “You’re a goddess that deserves the world and more for seeing me for who I really was!”

CL hugged him back and sobbed on his chest. “Thank you Show Luo.”

He then leaned back to look her in the face saying, “No goddess divine, thank you!”

She laughed and hugged him tighter. She didn’t want to let him or this moment they had together go. CL leaned on Show Luo and let tears of joy and happiness flow down her goddess divine cheeks.
