Teaser Four►

For practically the thousandth time in a single, mere week, the girl who sat in the second to last row and always by the window stared off into her own cloudy thoughts, into her own little world, ignoring her teacher's lectures. It was a normal thing for her. She was simply uninterested in what her dear teacher, Mr. Aberzinger, had to teach to her and the class as a whole.

The girl shifted her head to look at the window now before her eyes. She closed her eyes. Only in her thoughts and dreams could she see the beautiful arrays of sunlight and lakes and exotic-like animals. Those things were only in the books in the very back of the library of the university where all those kinds of books were located. It was kind of suspicious in a way.

When she opened her eyes, what she saw were unnatural sources of light, only coming from light generators, and she saw the gaping black hole above the city that stretched out for miles and miles in width.

These things made her wonder if things were like this before. She wondered if there really was a sun or a lake or tigers and bears. 

"No...that's insane." The girl mumbled and slightly shook her head before drifing back into heavy thoughts.

Then, the school bells started to ring. Gradually, she came back to reality and gathered her stuff and put them into her bag as she stood up and walked towards the door. A small group of boys came up to greet her, the majority of them staring at her fit body, especially her legs which were exposed due to her denim shorts. Just like her staring off into space, this was pretty normal for her too.

She has been pretty used to this kind of stuff. Soon, a familiar face came into view.

"Hey, get away from her!" The boy was clearly pissed off.

"Tch, why? Are you her boyfriend?" One of the boys asked mockingly. The boy who was pissed off ruffled his hair in frustration.

"No, I'm just her friend. J-Just go away." His cheeks were tinted red but no one really noticed and those who did just thought he was angry. Simply, this whole scene is pretty much the same as every other day.

The group backed away reluctantly without a word and left.

The tense look on the familiar boy's face softened and the girl's almost blank face came to life and she couldn't help but to suppress a light laugh. "Thank you, Mr. Class Clown." The boy rubbed the back of his neck with a smile on his face.

"It happens everyday, though. I think I need to be your full time bodyguard~" He a little bit and started to laugh. The girl then lightly pushed onto his arm in a playful manner.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny...I'll be alright though." The girl said.

She then took a look at the watch on her wrist to look at the time. "4:03 PM" Her eyes widened.

"...I'm late. Hey, Ilhoon, I'll see you tomorrow." She said frantically.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll see you, Xiao Xing. Tell Yijun I said hi." He said in return. She then showed a small smile, only something her friends would see a bit often and ran down the hallway while yelling, "Tell your little sister I said hi as well!"
