"Where are you? Just please tell me. You're home right?" Seunghyun pleaded with Bom to tell him where they are. He was getting anxious and the sound came again Paging Doctor Lee, please proceed to the Emergency Room right now.

Seunghyun's heart sank. "Are you in the hospital? Is Dara sick? What happened to her? Please tell me she's alright. Please...ANSWER ME!" Seunghyun couldn't keep it in anymore and Bom was still crying on the other line. "Where are you?" Seunghyun's voice was reduced to a whisper, desperation evident in his voice.

"We're at the hospital, Dara was running a high fever so I brought her here."

"What hospital? I'm..." Seunghyun interrupted

"Don't bother coming, she shouldn't be under stress right now. She had a threatened abortion, both she and the baby are safe. It would be better for both of them if you didn't come." With that, Bom hung up the phone. She didn't know if it was her position to tell the that Dara was pregnant, but she knows that he will find them and he will just subject Dara under more strain.

Bom went back in the room, Dara is still unconscious. She didn't know she was pregnant and she almost lost her baby. She's praying that her friend's strenght is enough to carry this additional weight.

Dara stirred on her bed as she regained consciousness. She tried to recall what happened and was gonna stand up when Bom rushed to her side and gently pushed her back to bed.

"Do you remember what the doctor said earlier? Bed rest, remember?" Bom said, strain evident in her face. Dara feels guity for making her friend undergo such stressful events but she only has her to lean on now.

News of her pregnancy was a big shock to her, it was unwelcome especially after what happened last night. She never imagined herself to be a mom, the only time she thought about it was when Seunghyun asked her how many children she wanted to have. She thought that it would be nice to have a little Seunghyun but after everything that happened, having a life growing inside her only made her want to crawl out of her skin. Would she be able to love the baby? Even if it was hers it was also Seunghyun's, the man who betrayed her. Will the baby end up like her; being passed between two parents every year? Is she strong enough to raise him by herself?

All these thoughts were filling her brain, she just wants it to stop. She was unknowingly pulling her hair and Bom had to restrain her, the nurses came in and helped Bom.

"Please don't be like this. You are not alone, I will help you. Please don't hurt yourself any more than you already are." Bom was now crying while hugging her.

Dara started to calm down so the nurses released her but Bom was still crying on her shoulder.

"I'm sorry for making you worry, Bommie. I'm just confused. How can I do this? Will I be able to do this? I'm not yet ready. I thought I was but now I am not sure. It hurts so much." Dara said as she hugged her friend tightly.

A few days have passed and she was slowly getting more stable, she was coming into terms with her pregnancy and she doesn't cry that much any more. She was allowed to leave the hospital on the condition that she remains in bed and no stress. Bom was more than willing to let her stay in her apartment, she practically tied Dara into the bed. Slowly, she found herself being able to laugh at Bom's sillyness. Her friend is such a worrywart that everything she needed was placed in her room. She even bought a bed pan just for Dara!

"I will never use that, Park Bom! I am still allowed to walk, I just have to be careful! I am capable of walking ten steps to the bath room!" Dara said to her friend who was insisting her to use the horrible thing.

"But it would be better if you stayed in bed." Bom said, pouting her lips.

"If I use that, will you clean it and dispose of the excrements yourself?" A smile was tugging at Dara's mouth. She knows that no matter how much her friend loves her, she will never come close to human excrements.

"Fine! Just make sure that you don't slip! And you cannot walk out of bed unless you REALLY have to, ok?" Bom admits in defeat.

Most of their days were spent with Bom worrying like a mother hen in heat while Dara was slowly picking up the pieces. She hasn't talked to Seunghyun yet, she is not confident that she won't break down again when she sees him. She knows she has to tell him about the baby but not now, she's still trying to be strong enough for the baby growing inside her.
