Chapter 4:

Kim Hye Ri's POV:

After my 'party' with T.O.P was over I decided to watch the screens and catch more people cheating.

Of course I didn't really have a choice...It was the ONLY thing I could do.

My father only let me leave this room when it was time to go to bed, which was around 12 in the morning, and then get back up around 7 am.

Yeah that's only 7 hours...The average person is supposed to get at least 10.

I haven't seen the outdoors in...years...

I don't even remember what the outside looks like.

Yeah my life .

"You look like you're having fun." T.O.P laughs.

I glare at him over my shoulder.

"Haha you're so funny." I say sarcastically.

"I know." T.O.P says smugly.

"Whatever, floats your boat." I say turning back to the screens."

I had been watching the screens for a goo amount of time and only found 1 card counter, and 1 cheater.

All in a good days work.

But I can't help but wonder, is this all my life amounts too?

Is this the only thing I will be doing for the rest of my life?

The answer to my question is...

Yes.

Because for however long my father sees me as a tool, I will stay here in this casino.

Forever locked away.

On my 21st birthday...

"Aish!" I shout frustrated, as I run my hands through my hair. "I hate this!"

"Huh?" T.O.P says, popping chips into his mouth, "You hate what?"

"This!" I say pointing angrily at the screens. "I hate doing this for him!"

"Yeah I know, haven't you always?" T.O.P says, "Wasn't that obvious? I mean look around. This isn't exactly paradise."

"I know that. But today I'm turning 21!" I shout.

"So? What's the difference from now and you 20th? Or 19th?"

"What's the difference? The difference is I now realized I'm a full adult and I'm letting my stupid father take control of me! I shouldn't let him do this to me!" I shriek.

"That a' girl!" T.O.P says smiling. "It's about time you stood up for yourself."

"I know and as soon as my father comes in I'm going to---" I start to say, but suddenly the door slams open.

T.O.P throws the chip bag to the side and stands up straight, brushing the crumbs off his suit.

"Mr.Kim." T.O.P bows.

"Right T.O.P, how has she been? Is she behaving?" my father asks, giving me a look.

T.O.P nods, "Yes, she's well behaved like always."

My father snorts, "Oh like how she bribed someone to bring in a cake this morning? Yeah, very well behaved indeed."

"Sir, your daughter says she has something to say to you." T.O.P says.

I give T.O.P a look.

I said what I meant a couple of seconds ago...But now I don't feel too strong...

T.O.P gives me a small nudge.
