After four hours drive Jessica reached a village in the outskirt of Seoul, she silently parked her car in from of a big villa on the uphill village.  She can’t help but sigh for the hundredth time since she left KIE main office, she can’t believe that she actually gave up her job.  She was really worried… thinking of the Chairman who she really owes a lot since the beginning. If only Kwon Yuri get even a drop of his grandfather’s kindness… too bad that spawn of evil didn’t get any of it, well at least towards her.

She closed her eyes and reaches her glove compartment to get her contact lens container; her mother will be shocked as hell if she caught her with her “Hideous” glasses as her younger sister claims.  She lazily took off the thing from her face and carefully placed the thin film on her eyes.. ‘How bothersome’ Jessica snorted after she put on her lenses and let down her hair. She gets off the car and pulled out her luggage from the trunk and drags it to the house.   “Sis! Thank God you’re here!” A perfect tall girl hugged her as soon as she opened the door. The girl is her younger sister Krystal, Jessica hugged back she hasn’t seen her for a while now..   “Why did you call Krys? What happened this time?” She asked curiously.   “I think you just have to see it for yourself.. She’s doing it again” the girl said exhaustedly.   Jessica just nodded to her baby sister, she put her things on her old room first and after that she found herself and Krystal standing in front of their mother’s room.   Jessica knocked, but there is no answer. The sisters look at each other before the elder decided to open the door.  The room is a complete chaos, there are so many things just carelessly thrown out on the floor.   “How long has she been like this?” Jessica asked silently as she looked at the middle age woman who was sitting in the middle of a large bed, as usual she was expensively dressed… people may call her beautiful if they will disregard her messy brown hair and thick mascara smudges under her eyes.   “2 days ago... she starts locking herself in the room and throwing things.“ Krystal sighed.   “What happened?” Jessica eyed her sister this time.   “She broke up with her business man boy friend” the younger answered.   “Business man? I thought they already called it quits 2 months ago?”   “It’s a different business man sis.”    Jessica held her temples because of what she heard. “Of course it’s a different man. Why did I even bother to ask?”  She whispered to herself before walking near the bed.   “Hey…” Jessica carefully said, the woman lifted her gaze on her.. Her eyes were all read and swollen from crying.  How can the strongest woman in the family be like this?   “Baby..” the woman smiled sadly as she pulled her eldest in a hug.. Jessica felt her shoulders starts to be wet, her mom is crying.   “He left me for a younger girl..” the woman looked at Jessica with a sad face.   Jessica can’t help but to feel sorry for her mother for she know that they can’t do anything about it.  Her mom tends to engage to relationships that don’t really last, this broken heart scene is happening 4-5 times a year and every time she needs to be there for her.   “Narsha..” Jessica called her mother with her name like she always does since she was 10 years old, not because she doesn’t want to call her mom but because no one should know that she and Krystal are her daughters. “That man is a fool to even look at other women. It’s his lost to let you go… He doesn’t know what he is missing.”   The woman burst into tears again, Jessica gritted her teeth as she silently watches her mom.  Narsha  can’t be describe as a great mother but Jessica will still give her an A for trying her best, raising two children on your own at a very young age is no joke.    Their mom was a rising teenage model in New York when she fell in love with their father who was a freshman in NYU at that time. She had Jessica in the age of 17 and then Krystal five years later, when their father finished his degree he bought his them back in Korea to meet his family, then one thing led to another. The father’s family didn’t accept them simply because Narsha didn’t come from a wealthy family such as them and forced their father to abandon them.  They were cold heartedly thrown out in the streets; Jessica was just eight years old then and she still remember how her mother cried just like what she’s doing now.    Jessica took a deep breath as shook off the bad memories in her head.  She kissed her mother as she wiped away her tears. “Don’t be like this... Who needs that guy anyways?  The best is yet to come.”   “Jessie…” Narsha leaned on her elder daughter’s shoulder.. “What would I do without you?”   “We will never know that… because I’m will always be here for you, forever.”  Jessica smiled as she assisted the woman to lie on her bed; she silently sat beside her as she Narsha’s brown hair until the tired woman finally close her eyes.    “She always listens to you.” Her younger sister smiled as she placed the blanket over their mother. Both girls left the room right after to avoid waking up their mother from her needed sleep.   “Are you going to stay here for the night sis?” the younger girl ask   “Yup.. I’ll be staying for a week.”   “You filed a leave?? You don’t have too… I can handle Narsha since you spoke to her already.” Krystal said since she knows that her sister is really busy at work. For almost four years her sister never really took any leave or vacation even during holidays.. She will just usually visit but she will just stay for a few hours before driving back to the city.   “No.. “ Jessica smiled at her sister awkwardly.. “I resigned”   Krystal gasps in shock as he stared her sister with her big round eyes. “YOU WHAT??!!”     +++++++++   Yuri was staring blankly ahead of him without and specific thing to look at.  His head is killing him like crazy which is weird since he never drank anything since his last house party. “AAAARGH!!!”  he yelled in irritation as he pulled his unusually unruly hair.   “TIFFANY!!” He shouted in the intercom to his secretary.   “Yes Sir?” the beautiful girl in pink asked nervously as she quickly entered his office.   “Didn’t I ask for the revised copy of the annual report for the first quarter meeting with the board?” His irritation was still evident in his voice.   “S-sir you didn’t provide the item that you want to revise. “ Tiffany stuttered in front of Yuri, he’s been all cranky since Jessica left a week ago. Jessica’s resignation turned the whole office upside down literally. Though Jessica sends all the endorsement to Yuri via email and provide the catalogue all of the papers that went through her hand, it causes ruckus since no one really have the knows how to do her job.  She never set foot in KIE since last week and since the system that Jessica made the executive office is really taking the toll.   “Can’t you do a simple review and impart any strategic output? Do I really have to do everything on my own?” The man snapped.   Tiffany went all teary eyed as she stares at her raging boss. Yuri on the other hand notices the girl’s impending tears which made him even more agitated. He harshly brushed his face with his hands. “I’m sorry” Yuri said after calming himself.   Tiffany just nodded nervously. “I- I’m sorry Sir, I really don’t have administration background…”   “Tiffany make it easier for the both of us.. And just tell me where Jessica lives” Yuri said straightly. “Or even her personal phone number” He was asking this information to tiffany for who knows how many times already. Jessica Jungs company files is useless. The girl just declared her apartment as her apartment address and her credentials and nothing more, it would be easier if the she included her hometown but even Yuri was surprised when he learned that the girl is not a local in Korea, according to her birth certificate she was born in US. Yuri personally went to her apartment but the landlord said that she didn’t see Jessica came back on her unit. The phone that she was using is unattended even the email have no use.   “I already gave you all the things I know about her” Tiffany muttered silently, well she is lying she actually kept Jessica’s mother’s address to her boss like what her best friend asked her to… but now she was really tempted to gave it out to Kwon Yuri so that she could be spared with this hell like treatment one more week like this she will
