Aish, maknaes... (Teaser 5)
:|: Living in the Fast Lane :|:The younger Kwon twin had returned to the Crew's crib a bit over half an hour ago. She had quickly called up Eunhyuk, who was still at the auto parts store, and asked him to see if they had the spark plugs she would need for her car. Luckily, they had them in stock, so Bekah would be able to replace them tomorrow, just in time for the races. That small fact brought a smile to the woman's face - she wasn't about to miss out on this race. No one in their right mind would want to miss this big of an event. After she had gotten off the phone with one of the Lee brothers, she had wandered around the main floor of the Crew's house. It was pretty quiet, which she found odd since she saw a lot of the boys' cars in the driveway. The peace and quiet was a nice change though.
"What the hell did you do to my Charger?!?"
And, there goes that peace and quiet. A smile graced the half-Italian's face as she took a sip of a soda she had taken out of the fridge. She glanced around the wall that divided the kitchen and living room and spotted a boy she practically considered a younger brother and one of the youngest boys in the Crew. One stood on either side of the large couch and the blonde tried to fake out the other boy - the two faking right, or left, cutting off an exit if the other decided to run. Bekah decided it would be safer to stay in the archway between the living room and kitchen instead of venturing closer to see what was going on.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Kyuhyun responded with a mischievous smile in place.
That simple answer caused Milan to attempt leaping over the couch, trying to get ahold of the other boy's jacket. He missed by a few inches and this gave the older of the two to race around the couch and towards the kitchen. The foreigner, who somehow flipped over the couch gracefully and was on his feet in a few seconds, turned and saw the woman standing in Kyuhyun's path.
"Bekah! Don't let him pass," he shouted to the woman in English.
Though she was only currently learning the language, having Milan around helped a lot. So, she easily understood him and just as the older of the two boys tried to pass her, she latched onto the back of his collar. Bekah still had no idea what was going on, except for the fact it had to do with Milan's Charger, and she was curious.
"Noona," Kyuhyun dragged out, begging the woman to let him go.
She simply shook her head, "Nuh uh. What's going on?" she directed her question towards both of the boys.
By this point, Milan had made it over to the two and was glaring at the boy in Bekah's grasp, "What the hell did you do?"
"Nothing," Kyuhyun got out through a small fit of laughter.
Milan's blue-green-eyed glare intensified as the woman scoffed, "Yeah right. But, what happened, Milan?" Bekah asked of the blonde in her accented English.
The other boy, Kyuhyun, was at a bit of a lost as to what the other two were saying due to his lack of English skills, "My car stinks to high heaven and I know HE has something to do with it!" the European yelled, shoving a finger into Kyuhyun's chest, with the faintest of smiles pulling at the corner of his mouth.
Kyuhyun was trying his best not to laugh at both the situation and Milan, but was failing miserably at it. One of his hands was covering his mouth, but a few little chuckles kept slipping through. Whatever he had done - everyone knew it was him - Kyuhyun must have thought it was the funniest thing in the world. Bekah had raised an eyebrow at her "little brother" whose collar was still in her grasp. She was contemplating whether or not she had been a good influence on this boy or not. His pranking was 'okay' when he was back in high school, but it had only escalated since he's known Bekah. It wasn't like she minded his pranking nature - that was mainly because he never dared to pull a prank on her - but she could see where other people might be annoyed with it.
Though, for Milan, he wasn't necessarily annoyed with Kyuhyun. The two were both pranksters and due to Kyuhyun pranking the boy in his first week of being with the Crew, it had started a war between them. Now, yes, they would prank some of the other members of the Crew to see who could out do the other, but when it came to pranking one another, it wasn't always about the biggest and baddest pranks. Between the two of them, there were a lot of small, stupid pranks - because they were always easier to execute than the bigger ones.
Due to Milan's expression, Kyuhyun couldn't help but burst out laughing, "You might want to check under your hood," he managed between the laughter.
"Why you little-," Milan reached for Kyuhyun's collar, but the brunette had slipped out of the woman's hand and was dashing down the hallway.
The blonde was about to go after him until he felt a hand on his shoulder, "You might want to check your car first."
Something about that sounded like a good idea to Milan and he turned around in order to make his way to the garage. He did everything in his power to not run down the various halls in the house. As Milan rounded the corner of yet another hall, he nearly collided with two other members of the Crew. One of the boys latched out and grabbed the blonde's shoulders in order to stabilize both of them after the impact. The boy who had steadied both of them also had blonde hair, but his was a much bolder shade of blonde - obviously not natural - and it was gelled up slightly. He had a number of rings on his long fingers and there was also some charcoal smeared across his fingers and the palms of his hands. The other man had black hair that just reached beyond his ears and was teased and styled to lay over his right eye. He wore a lightweight, gray, long sleeve shirt and a pair of black, straight-legged jeans. His shirt showed off his slim build, but also hinted at a rather built body hidden beneath the clothes.
"Woah, Milan, where are you off to in such a hurry?" the other blonde haired boy asked in Korean, trying to get the boy to practice his Korean.
Once the foreigner recognized who was talking to him, a small smile graced his features, "Oh, hey Thunder, Byunghoon. Kyuhyun did something to my car, and I'm going to go see what he did under the hood."
Thunder, the blonde haired artist, casted a sympathetic look towards his friend while Byunghoon merely laughed. He had been here when the Dutch-Bavarian boy first arrived and witnessed the beginning of the pranking war between him and Kyuhyun. Hoon knew it was only a matter of time before Milan got the other boy back. He loved watching the two prank one another, because it was always entertaining for him... Except when they decided to prank him, then he didn't enjoy it.
One side of Hoon's lips turned up and he gave a mischievous half smile, "So, what are you planning for Kyuhyun, then?"
Milan's blue-green eyes glanced upwards for a moment as he thought, "I'm not sure yet. It depends what he did to my car. And on that note, I need to go check on that."
With that, Milan continued on down the hall at a faster pace than before. Hoon merely shook his head at the older boy - he was only a little more than a month older than himself - before he turned his brown eyes back on his friend. He slung his arm around the blonde's shoulders and led the boy towards the kitchen.
"Those boys," Sanghyun uttered out through a sigh, which caused the other man to laugh.
"They shall never change, I'm afraid," Hoon stated with a soft smile painted upon his lips, "But enough of that. It is time... For Oreos and milk."
The blonde let out an exasperated sigh and rolled his eyes, "Dear lord. You and your Oreos," he muttered under his breath.
Hoon paid no mind to his friend and practically dragged him down the halls, neither bothering nor caring at this point if Sanghyun wanted Oreos or not. No one could stop Choi Byunghoon when he wanted Oreos. Then again, he would always want Oreos - they were his favorite treat after all - but he curbs his craving as much as possible. Right now was not one of those times though. The two made their way into the kitchen and Byunghoon quickly went about retrieving his stash of Oreos. He had put them in a cabinet that was well out of the reach for majority of the Crew members. As Hoon grabbed the blue package of Oreos, Thunder retrieved two glasses and the carton of milk. He poured the milk and the other boy brought over the cookies, already munching on one of them.
The two sat in relative silence - something not so normal for Hoon, but common for Thunder - as they dunked Oreos into the glasses of milk, "Damn it, Heechul! Get off of me!"
Startled out of his mild daydreaming, Thunder nearly fell out of his chair due to the sudden screaming. At first Hoon was concerned about his friend's well being as he clutched onto the table before he started laughing. Thunder had always been a bit of a klutz; nothing was ever going to change that apparently. The blonde's puppy-dog brown eyes cut across to Hoon and glared at the laughing man.
Thunder reached over and smacked the boy's shoulder, "Shut up, it's not funny."
Byunghoon simply stood up and through a fit a laughter he managed to speak, "Yes, it is, actually."
With that said, and a glaring and mumbling Thunder trailing behind him, the black haired boy ventured into the living room to see what was the cause of all the commotion. As the pair of twenty-two year olds walked around to face the front of the couch they saw, what was for them, a normal sight. Bekah had been lying down, across the couch on her back, probably rather peacefully at one point. Until Heechul showed up. The older man decided to sit upon the girl's stomach and was making himself rather comfortable at the expense of the woman's suffering. When her amethyst eyes spotted Thunder and Byunghoon, a huge smile came to her face.
"Guys!" she exclaimed, reaching a hand out to them only for it to be smacked away by Heechul, "Save me!"
Hoon raised an eyebrow at the flailing woman and the side of his lips raised up in a smirk, "What's in it for me, noona?" his tone was suggestive as his tongue darted out of his mouth to his lips for a moment.
Before Bekah could even respond, Heechul scoffed at the younger man's flirting, "Don't even try. She's mine."
With that, Heechul laid down on top of Bekah and wrapped his arms around her waist, hugging her tightly, "Heechul-ah!"
As the duo lay on the couch - which would be awkward for most people - Hoon simply laughed, "Do not worry, you can have her. She's a bit too old for my tastes anyway."
"Hey," Bekah snapped, glaring at the younger boy.
She began to flare a bit more, trying to get her hands on the boy who just called her old. Alas, Heechul wouldn't let her move and just continued to lie on top of her and hug her to him. Thunder couldn't help but laugh at the awkward, yet normal, situation before him. Weird and strange was normal for the members of the Crew. Everyone had gotten used to that by his or her second day. The Crew was a strange group to outsiders; they seemed indifferent to most, and had an almost sadistic sense of humor. But, they were just a big - and odd - family. None of them would give that up.
"A FISH?!? YOU PUT A GOD DAMN FISH ON MY ENGINE!?! IT'S GONNA SMELL FOR WEEKS!" a voice cut through the entirety of the house in rough Korean, "I'M ALLERGIC TO FISH!"

Okay guys, first of all, sorry this took so long to get out. As you can see, I decided to do group teasers, just because I won't have to write so many and majority of you guys voted for them. Now, I want to say, congratulations to Aurora_Borealis, again, and Soonyangel. I adored both of your characters! I do hope I am portraying them correctly. If not, PLEASE let me know A.S.A.P.
Also, it's important that all applicants, chosen and not quite yet possibly, answer me this. One, would you guys want me to modify your cars, or would you like to keep them original? Obviously, if you modify them, you can make it so they handle turns better, faster, lighter, etc. Let me know. ALSO, a quick heads up, most of the cars you guys picked are not good for quarter mile races. The Lamborghinis, the modern day Chargers and Camaros, Porches, these are good long distance racing cars. You need a lot of road for these babies to stretch their legs. Classic muscle cars, Nissans, EVOs, and the Supra are great quarter mile cars. Though, muscle cars are horrible at turns unless you modify them. SO! The question in all this is, do you guys want to stick to your car choices, or not? I'm good either way really.
And, since I'm in a Mustang mood (since it's my favorite car), this car fact is going to relate to mustangs! Be excited! Or not... I don't care lol Up until this year (2013) Carroll Shelby - automative designer, racing driver, and entrepreneur - admitted that the '65 Shelby Mustang GT350 was his favorite mustang he ever produced. It was "a no-compromise car built to get the job done." After the '65 mustang was released, Ford thought the car was too mean a machine. From there they made each Shelby Mustang after it "more civil". Shelby became disgusted with himself and began to hate the car he was designing. He started trying to get out of the Ford partnership since '67 and finally got out in '70. He eventually joined up with Ford once again in '05 (?) and made a few more classic Shelby mustangs. Now, the 2013 and the 1965 hold first in his heart. This beloved icon passed away in the summer of 2012. (Cars are produced a year before - he finished working on the 2013 Shelby Mustang, in 2012.)
