I stop my steps, shift my head, looking backward. He stops and waves hand for his friends. “Let play with me oppa.” I talk to myself. We are not too far from Hong Ki’s house right now. I look down weakly and kneel down at the same time pretend to be faint. “Min Jo-ah” Jae Jin shouts loudly. I thought he runs towards me but he busy calls upon his friends. All of them run toward me. “I’ve a big trouble. I want tease Jae Jin but all of them will get involve.  Arghh… Hong Ki looks the most panic person. Omo!, what can I do now?” I open my eyes narrowly.

            “Hong Ki, you’re not school athlete right? How you can run faster than Jong Hoon, the athlete?” Jae Jin keeps asking, breathless. “Shut up!” Says Hong Ki, strictly. Hong Ki touches my shoulder “Min Jo, Min Jo-ah get up now. Don’t make me more panic.” He shakes my body and whisper to me. “Hong Ki, she still doesn’t get up.” Jae Jin asks. “Not yet. Is she sick?” Hong Ki states. “Let’s bring her to the clinic.” Jong Hoon says in a worried voice tune.

            “No! It can’t be. I’m not sick, I’m just pretending. Sorry.” I regret and say to myself. “She is not sick.” Jae Jin claims. “Let’s bring her under that shady tree maybe she will get up after a few minutes.” Hong Ki gives out an opinion. They bring me there, under a shady tree.

            Hong Ki puts my head on his lap, he leans towards the tree trunk and occasionally, my hair gently. I feel very calm and I feel like don’t want get up from this lay. A simple question appears in my mind “Why he gets cold while I’m conscious?” Jae Jin runs to a drink stall, buy a bottle of mineral water from the vendor and bring it to my place. He opens up the bottle cap and pours all the water on my face.

            I feel like want to angry but never mind, forget it. I am happy now. I open my eyes slowly, looking to the sky, pretending get up from the real fainted and say “I’m still alive right. I’m glad.” “Min Jo-ah, why were you fainted just now?” Jae Jin looks deeply in my eyes. Hong Ki helps me to stand up but coincidentally, my true illness come by the time, I am fainted again for the real.

 I am a low-blood pressure sufferer. A long time ago, while I am six or seven years old, I always fainted but when I be a teenager it never come back to me. I don’t know what happen while I am unconscious. All these are my fault, at first I am just pretending at all but it comes true to me now. I open my round eyes weakly, all of them are still sitting around me. My head is still a little dizzy and I notice my head is on his lap again.

“Min Jo, you didn’t bring your medicine today? You didn’t take your pills this morning?” All the questions get out from Jae Jin’s oppa mouth. “I forgot to eat it last morning, I’m busy.” I try to make a trustful excuse this time. “Oppa, please don’t tell my condition right now to my parents.” I say sadly. “Min Jo, please don’t talk too much now. You’re not well.” At last, the precious voice heard, Hong Ki says. “Omo! My classmates must have arrived to my house now. I’ve to go back now.” I take my bag on the ground and walking weakly to the roadside to get a cab.

            After a few minutes, I arrive to my house and Jae Jin straight go back to his home. The lounge is full with them. I entered my own house and they greet me by “Merry Christmas!”. My mother serves some snacks and puddings for them. After half an hour at my house, they ask permission to go. They give me some presents and I have prepared some for them too. The last person is Song Seung Hyun. He give me a present, the box looks classy.

            Seung Hyun always teases me in the high school, I know he likes me but I don’t have any feelings towards him. For me he just my friend like the others. In the entire night I open up my presents one by one. I get shirts, scarf, novels and accessories from them. There are two boxes left, the present from Seung Hyun and Hong Ki. Seung Hyun’s present is bigger than Hong Ki’s but Hong Ki’s present box looks like a small treasure box that beached on an island, very Treasure Island.

            I decide to open the present from Seung Hyun first. It is a watch, the face of the watch is pinkish. There is a small note in the box and I read it. It sounds “Merry Christmas, Min Jo. I hope you’ll accept the watch and wear it every day. Saranghae.” “Oh My God! I know this will happen. I don’t want wear it because if I wear it, he will say I love him. But where he knows I like watch?” All of them appear in my mind. I keep the watch in my drawer under the table.
