Junsu got out of the house at the first rays of the sun ….he didn’t wake yoochun or leave a message for him because all that was needed to be said was already said the night before...plus he will be back soon …he won’t make it look like a goodbye because it is not ..

The moment he stepped into the town he was right away greeted by many relatives who were surprised to see him back …he knew that in few seconds the news of his arrival would reach his sister and though before he found it heartwarming how she used to wait for him by the door he dreaded it now knowing that the reason his sister asked people to tell her about his arrival is so she can hide any evidence that might give away all the lies she fed him throughout those long years …

When he reached the house like expected he saw his sister waiting for him by the gates …she smiled and opened her arms for him to fly into her arms like always but he frowned and said:

“Let’s go inside”

His sister opened about to speak but he cut her off saying:

“Go inside unless you want to make a scene outside “

She raised her eyebrow at him but when she saw he was completely serious she nodded and got into the house with him following her behind...

They sat in the living room surrounded by thick silence until she cut it saying:

“So what do you want to make a scene about?”

Junsu clenched his teeth, took few deep breathes then said:

“How could you lie to me all this time? “

“Lie?”

“Don’t even try to sound innocent  ...I know everything now  ...the OLGAR and ELSNEH … the plan and the lies  ...everything “

Sarah’s eyes widened then she looked down and said:

“How did you know all that?”

“doesn’t matter …what matters right now is that you explain because from what I got from others it seems that you are willing to go into a full war and sacrifice a lot of human’s lives just so you marry Kim jaejoong “

“THAT IS NOT HOW IT IS “

“EXPLAIN THEN “

“Look  ...it’s our right  ...they are trying to take what is ours by playing games  ...If I don’t marry Kim jaejoong the ruling won’t be passed to our family and they will keep it “

“His grandfather is still alive  ...he can still have a child and –“

“that is not how things work …the ruling time for each king is until his first child is old enough to rule instead and that old man already ruled double his time and though Kim jaejoong is old enough he didn’t pass the ruling to him saying that he would when jaejoong marries and ends the troubles with us and since jaejoong doesn’t want to marry me that old man using that to keep the ruling to himself and we can’t have that ..Already our family is against the rules of OLGAR...already most of our family wants out of it and wants to make new rules and this …this thing he is doing making things more complicated and if Kim jaejoong doesn’t marry me then I can’t shut the family up which means it will be a war “

Junsu stared at his clenched hands in his lap for a while then said:

“Kim jaejoong is gay and has a lover already”

“I don’t care if he marries me and let me have a child I won’t mind him having a lover of his own “

“He won’t agree  ...he wants to marry his lover “

“How do you know so much about him?”

“That is a long story …I will tell you everything but you have to promise that you are going to help me to find a way out of this and you won’t be blinded by the rage and wishes of our family”

Sarah sighed and said a small:
“ok”

Yunho was reading when suddenly a book hit the back of his head...he turned around and sighed then said:

“Young master  ...what are you doing?”

Jaejoong looked up from behind a pile of books and said:

“Searching for that green book about the laws of the Olgar  ...why?”

Yunho rubbed the back of his head and said:

“Nothing  ...you can just ask me for it you know “

Jaejoong got up, went to his desk, sat down and said:

“Fine  ...jung yunho get me the green book on Olgar’s laws “

Yunho snapped his finger and walked to jaejoong’s desk with the book in hand then said:

“Jaejoong  ...something on your mind?”

Jaejoong noticed the switch between young master and jaejoong and knew that yunho meant he is asking as his lover not as his butler so he sighed and said:

“Why? Why for something as simple as ruling they can just kill each other? Why would they kidnap humans and their souls dry just for the sake of being stronger? Why would they...why would they just …”

Yunho sighed and said:

“If I told you that is their human side would you laugh?”

Jaejoong turned his chair around to face the window and said:

“Explain”

“Same as when humans go after things by instinct and we call that their animalistic instincts, when Olgar go after things by instinct we call that their humanistic instincts “

“So their humanistic instincts are making them do this kind of things?”

“Don’t get me wrong but humans by nature want to rule and want to control  ...either bad or good people try to reach the top because either they want to ruin the whole world and control it to bow on its knees for them or they want to rule it and control it so they can make it a better place they believe and in both cases they would try to do anything and justify any way they use as a simple war strategy …so yes that is their humanistic instinct that is making them act like this “

“How about me then? My human side is the one that is making me fight against them? My human side is telling me that I should crush them to the ground if they don’t stop this nonsense?”

Yunho put the book he was holding on the desk and said:

“Why don’t you tell me? …tell me why are you fighting this war? To rule? To save your grandfather? To save the humans? Because you were told that they are your enemies? “

Jaejoong stayed facing the window figuring out that facing the window is easier than facing yunho when speaking of such things:

“I am in this fight not for my grandfather or my family’s name  ...yes I am in it partly for the humans but that is because it’s the case assigned to me  ... I am also in to save my love so I won’t lose that devil that made me fall for him… because if I didn’t win they would and you being my lover and protector would die with me no? …I don’t want that …that is why I am fighting”

“Then yes you are driven by your humanistic instinct too “

“How so?”

“you are in it to save the humans and if I was convinced by your reason of wanting to solve the case given to you and didn’t go deeper in it to say that you are doing it for the sake of those humans  it would still be human instinct to win something ..to win anything that is given to them no matter what they have to do so they can win it …as for the other part of protecting your love then that is the most humanistic instinct and I doubt that needs an explanation to why it is so “

Jaejoong was silent for a moment but yunho knew better than to think that the conversation ended there and just like he expected jaejoong said:

“But don’t Olgars and Devils and the other darkness creatures love too? And if they do isn’t it their instinct too to protect their lovers?”

“Though humans lust after each other animals do too  ...but why is it animalistic instinct?”

“because when we say animalistic instinct it refers to those of our urges that are not really logical …they are the things that make humans seem less like thinking humanly and more acting like anim- oh~”

“exactly …to Olgars when they do stuff like this its less thinking like Olgars and more acting like humans and so they call it humanistic instinct “

Jaejoong turned his chair to face yunho and said:

“So you are saying I am acting like a human?”

Yunho smiled and said:

“Is that a bad thing?”

Jaejoong took the book that yunho put on the desk and said:

“Who Knows?”

“Why would you be worried because of something that silly?”

Leeteuk looked up and said:

“What if junsu was able to convince his sister to stop the war and what if they reached some common grounds and all was solved easily?”

Junho laughed a long heart filled laugh then said:

“Oh poor little soul …I taught you a lot but it seem that you are still lacking in some ways “

Leeteuk lowered his head down partly out of shame and partly to hide the irritation that shone in his eyes then said:

“Please explain to me what you mean master”

Junho crossed his legs and said:

“What can junsu say to make this war stop do tell me Leeteuk  ...what can he say except that jaejoong would marry her to stop the war? And we both know that jaejoong would never ever agree to marry her now that he is in love with that devil …so what common ground? All the Olgar laws are on our side...they can do nothing but fight and when they do and they WILL I will be there with the easy way out of the bloody horrible war...and only when my grandson is drowning in blood that he would see that my way is the only way and that is when I win and that damn devil lose …meanwhile in the war I will get rid of some enemies and would rule for sometime longer “

Junho finished his explanation proudly then said:

“Oh Leeteuk stop staring at me like an idiot gabbing fish and go pour me a glass of wine …today is a good day my dear ..A good day “

Changmin opened the door and said:

“Can I have a minute of your time?”

Jaejoong looked up from his book and singled for changmin to come in …yunho looked at changmin and said:

“What is it changmin?”

“I couldn’t really just sit down and do nothing till junsu comes back so I made few calls and I got some information that I thought that you might want to hear about “

Jaejoong put the book on the desk, sighed and said:

“Let’s hear it”

“I was thinking that there could be no way that all the kidnapping cases are not related  ...there has to be a way for them to pick their victims “

“Why are we still looking into the relation between the victims when we already know who did it?”

“Because we need to stop the kidnapping and hold the ones truly at fault  ...not just go to war with the other side and hope all would go well in the process …young master”

Jaejoong knew that at some level all the workers in the house thought of yunho as the real master of them and that they take him lightly but he didn’t care...not right now atleast …

“What do you mean changmin?”

“I mean this game is not bad vs. good …more like bad vs. worse”

Yunho tapped his foot and said:

“Changmin spit it already”

Changmin looked nervous then he got a big map out of his bag and nodded at the table asking permission to spread it on the table...i nodded at him and he spread it then said:

“the red marks are the areas that had a kidnapping case …if you notice sir it’s all over the place but if we used a ruler “

Changmin got a ruler and a pencil out of his bag then started contacting the dots …slowly the random dots started to look like a shape …and after few minutes I was left gapping …

Yunho said:

“but I see you connected few empty spaces to finish the shape…are they some places you are expecting a kidnapping to happen in them or is it just randomly done to finish the shape ?”

Changmin signaled one minute at yunho and got a big transparent map thing and put it right above the first one …the transparent map had green dots in the places that were empty in the first one ...we stared at it for couple of minutes when suddenly yunho took the chess king and put it in the center of the map and said:

“Young master  ...you are the last sacrifice “
